Love Live! SuperStar!! Opening: START! True Dreams!
Just because something is dark and depressing doesn’t mean it by default has depth.
Just because something is sweet and upbeat doesn’t mean it lacks value.
Things I wished someone had told me about the media I consumed (and refused to consume) when I was a kid with a serious ‘not like other girls’ syndrome.
The other day I tried to watch Bleach. I missed the Bleach hype train years ago. I made it about 10 episodes in and have been meaning to push through more, but that was days ago and I haven’t worked up the care to do so. Maybe Bleach isn’t for me? I want to like it, and I do like some of the characters (Rukia in particular is super cool) so much so that I’m wondering if this is a more character driven show than anything...
I want to give the show a fair try. Normally if I’m not feeling an anime by like episode 6 I call it quits, but I know Bleach is a very long show so I’m trying to allow the limit to be upped.
So, a question for you Bleach aficionados, what’s a good point to know if I can get into Bleach. As in, is there a certain point in an early on arc that exemplifies what Bleach can be? Like I said, right now I’m not feeling it but I don’t hate it either, because if I did I would drop it like a sack of potatoes. Right now I feel like it’s 50/50 on which way it could go. I could end up really like it, or I could end up feeling like I wasted my time if I keep watching more and more. I’m willing to give it a shot, I think.
