20.08.2018 so i guess i’m a summer studyblr now 🌻
08/25/2018 - Saturday
The first step in organizing your life is to organize the space you’re in, that being your workspace, bedroom, or anywhere else. I started by organizing my desk. Baby steps, fellows, baby steps. The important thing is that you don’t give up.

good studyblr-related feelings
feeling really overwhelmed and behind, and then taking a day to get everything done and feeling on top of things again
completely understanding a concept
for me, turning something in on time feels really good, especially when executive dysfunction only lets that happen rarely
talking to someone and realizing you’re not the only one struggling with this or that problem
actually enjoying what you’re learning about and pursuing it further
having a clean study space with plants, a drink, and everything organized
going through a binder and having your whole system refreshed
getting a good score on something you worked hard on or that mattered to you
being able to have free time-consuming not as a form of procrastination before doing work, but after it’s done and you can actually relax
rainy day mood. || ig: colormecosmic
3 things I want every girl to know:
Having XX in your genetic makeup DOES NOT: make you any less capable of being a doctor/engineer/surgeon/whatever the fuck you want to be. Does not mean you have a bad sense of direction. Does not mean that your emotions & feelings are exaggerated/invalid. Does not mean that you’re (or your outfit) the one to be blamed if a someone catcalls or harasses you or even makes you uncomfortable. SPEAK UP. We are all equal.
Beauty really does come in all shapes & sizes. Please stop comparing yourself to those photoshopped Instagram “fitness models” you’re perfect the way you are. Don’t waste a second of your life being overly critical of your appearance, if you can’t get over that thought then seek help. Be kind to your beautiful self because you deserve it.
Your body is yours, only yours. If you want to cover up from head to toe that’s perfectly fine. If you want to wear something really sexy out or post a racy pic that’s perfectly fine too. Don’t let anyone give you shit about your choice of how you want to live. As long as it’s what YOU want and feel comfortable with.

Hey guys, since my previous post on Morning Routines was very well received, I decided to make a night version. This small infographic thingy outlines the things I do at night to prep myself for rest, as well as some other things you could try to ensure you get a good night’s sleep. Hope this helps, and don’t hesitate to drop me an ask if you have any questions!
P.S. the typefaces used are Bromello and Montserrat
10 big academic reminders
1. there is no shame in asking for help (academic, emotional, or mental)
2. there is no shame in going to tutoring
3. there is no shame in getting Bs, Cs, Ds, or Fs
4. there is no shame in not knowing what you want to study
5. there is no shame in having a job
6. there is no shame in struggling in a so-called “easy course”
7. there is no shame in withdrawing from a course you don’t feel comfortable in
8. there is no shame in changing your major
9. there is no shame in not taking a full load of classes in a semester
10. there is no shame in realizing your school may not be for you
If people are doubting how far you’ll go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore.
