Timeline: Cale is 15, js before he started drinking when the marriage proposals came in.
It was a normal morning.. until a scream erupts.
It was early in the morning in fact, too early to deal with anything, base on Cale’s standard.

The both of them looks like they’re out of breath, yet still appear so gracefully.
The crown prince of Roan Kingdom? Cale faces pale dramatically when they both fell to their knees too.
“Count Deruth, may we also ask for Cale’s hand?”
It was quite an eventful day, but it was just the beginning of all chaos.

There’s like probably tons of plot hole and stuffs and sry if it’s like weird I’m not used to writing. I was going for like a vibe where Adin didn’t sent a letter but made an appearance instead. Idk what happen after that but my mind told me to how Deruth kicking Adin face so I did that. This is more of what my mind had in place or like a rough draft. Oh and I didn’t read the novel, I had some spoilers abt it but I kinda took a break from the tcf fandoms so my memories hazy and this is probably or does have a lots of ooc. Really sorry!!

Obviously there's Violan giving the three princes the stink eye and Hans sharpening his dagger and some knives for Ron and Beacrox but let's remember sweet sweet Lily and Bassen.
Lily, as sweet as she is, won't hesitate to penetrate her sword into the princes' skulls; most especially on Adin. If her father can threaten a royal with a sword why can't she? Oh and she'll most definitely set traps around the Henituse estate if she heard one of the princes will be visiting again (With the help of mages and trap experts ofcourse [ahem Ron ahem ahem Beacrox ahem])
Doesn't mean they're same from her outside of the Henituse teritory though. At every event, Lily would screw around with their heads at every chance she gets. And even if they knew that it's her doing why they're getting screwed around so much, they can't do anything about it. What are they gonna do? Throw her out? That'll just lessen their chance to marry Cale. The princes are not and will never be safe from Lily Henituse, ever.
Then there's Bassen. Bassen "I don't care if you're royalty you're not good enough for my hyung-nim stay 100 kms away from him or I will skin you alive" Henituse.
Little man won't give the princes' a chance to even breath. He's protective and mayhaps be a little insane (he's a Henituse, duh). He'll chew them out at every opportunity he gets and probably give them the middle finger if he feels petty. (<- Lily would do the same, so long as there's no responsible adult in the room)

WS is the “oldest” of the triplet- in terms of mental age. during reincarnation, he had amnesia; doesn't rmb much other than passing memories and his most recent life.
KRS is the middle in triplet. the timeline should matched part 1 of the novel except he die at one point and regressed :p it didnt go to part 2 tho bc i heard part 2 of tcf is more thames stuff and lowk i dont wannaaa touch that yet
Cale's normal. like deadass, hes not special or anything. its him and his friends, they're in a lot of interesting situations tho, ill hope to get into and starts writing down some of the scenarios i have in mind ><
WS and KRS have beef at one point, but made up. (i did talk some of it in the other post) now, they have the closest relationship out of the triplet bc they talked a lot abt the other timeline and plan abt the future w eo. i like to think they brought out a lot of good side to eo and acts childish/competitve between eo
Cale feels left out bc of their dynamic. cale often scrambled to actually hangout w them. for 1) theyre less hyper than cale 2) more mature 3) keeps turning cale down for hangouts </3 and opps to do their own stuff tgt moree
So cale found himself some friends and distance from them more. its lowk a back and forth relationship of cale throwing himself for a chance at hanging out with them and distancing himself.

deruth kinda separate himself from the triplet after his late wife death, them looking tm like her. pretty sure i made krs and ws have a somewhat complicated relationship with him. they're not affectionate of him like cale, but they're respectable and okay with the man.
The three all love their step family tho! they actually found out abt them earlier too bc one of the triplet stumbles upon them on accident so it was a whole reveal. the reveal was very private tho, no one (servants, public, outside families) knew abt them until they just appear in the henituse manor and stayed lmao. or, viola and basen.

when krs and ws first met cale friends, they were fine with them. albeit a bit, concerned. which is reasonable considering all their statuses and reputation!! based on the novel, all of them have bad rep other than hajin cuz man a peasant tryna live.
tho, reluclance, krs and ws passes them by without much question. it wasnt till later on that they genuinely found out the deep, deep things the 4 got themselves into.

The potion, lets just call it a lust pot, was a protytpe the bandits were making. The potions book Egg found was just normal minecraft pots + prototypes. The lust pot wasnt the finalized version but they had the general gist (pot affects) and the consequences of not having the lust pot satiated noted down. Hence why Wemmbu was super eager to fuck Flame (i mean he already wanted to fuck him but the pot added another layer of urgencyyy). But some of the symptoms Flame was getting wasnt noted in the book, Why Wemmbu wanted Flame to constantly update him on the symptoms.
He diddd. He just laid Flame down on his bed on the first initial faint after the lust pot, took off armour then left. When Flame didnt respond the next day he went to check him up, feverish + sweaty. He had to sit down for five mins when he realized Flame was trans... he had to clean Flame up a lot + hydrate him through pots because of how much he was leaking... <3 realized the pot Flame was splashed with was NOT normal after day 2
Oh no yea, Wemmbu was jerking off to Flame's sleeping body during those few days he was out cold
OgCale somehow has a sort of school bully reputation despite never hitting a single student (or people in general) unless extreme circumstances. Yes, even if is a classmate he hates. Violence is not his first answer, intimidation tactics are. He's so good at them he has most of the actual bullies convinced that he's The Bully. The banchou. The boss, if he didn't refuse to accept anyone as part of his gang. Everytime someone tries to act like if they were under his orders, he gives them a glare that has them backtracking on their actions all the way to the entrance of the campus. He regularly uses that reputation to stop bullies and pretend it wasn't his intention to help. Sure, all a big coincidence.
Alberu, meanwhile, is the responsible student who for some reason put himself willingly in charge of his classmates, getting perfect marks and pretending he has never done anything wrong in his life. His classmates for some reason feel like they shouldn't test his patience too much, but sometimes forget and end up getting dragged to (usually) the principal's office or somewhere else for a private talk. At the end he almost always gets them to agree with whatever he says, but no one knows how. He's stressed as fuck and constantly cursing his classmates, the teachers, and the whole school in his mind. At least once per week, he questions why did he accepted the position in the first place.
OgCale ends up being transferred to Alberu's class after Mr. Olienne caught him red handed acing a test in internet— about a topic he had just purposefully gotten barely passing grades— in his free time, because he was bored. He came to the conclusion that OgCale either wasn't putting any effort because he wasn't being challenged enough by the schoolwork or was prone to getting anxious about tests. Or maybe both. And decided he was his problem now. So he got approval from his parents, the principal and OgCale's old teacher to transfer him to his class.
And then Alberu gets roped into dragging him to class when OgCale decides the answer to that is skipping classes.
this and also fanfic writers choosing to write a chapter a year, because they don’t want to write more often than that, or abandoning their works entirely because they lose interest and don’t feel like continuing anymore is also a valid reason, and you’re an entitled asshole if you attack, guilt trip or shame them for it (being sad/disappointed is completely okay and normal, you can’t control how your mind feels and reacts to something, what matters is that you respect the author’s decision and don’t be a dick to them about it).
fanfic writers write for themselves and their own enjoyment. they’re kind enough to let you read their works for free. they don’t owe you any explanation. they don’t owe you the details of their personal lives. they don’t owe you anything.

I like to think that ogCale like composing lyrics before Jour died and dropped it after her death. Then recently picked it up again maybe a year or less after Lily was born.
His music started gaining fame the more he shares them and he's not even aware of it until he overheard Lily making positive commens about a certain indie music composer to Violan. ogCale didn't realiezed that she was talking about him until she mentioned one of his songs. (ogCale is mortified that someone as young as his sister is listening to his music that's definitiely not meant for children to hear)
The people in the comments would totally occasionally wonder why, despite how strong the lyrics and the feelings the songs convey are, somehow he still never swears.
He manages to pull it so natural that people only realize he doesn't swear when they're talking about a song and someone says it has "fuck off vibes". The brutally blunt truth there's in his words of choice when refering to some people or issues are so sharp and creative that he doesn't need to. Still, occasionally someone will think "wait. Wouldn't it had been easier if he had just used [x swear word]?"
But now he knows his little sister (and therefore probably other children of her age) listens to his music. He's not expanding her swear vocabulary, he'll expand her creative insults instead. With how rich gatherings and media are, she'll find them useful one day, anyways.
About him picking it up back after Lily was born, you're so right. I imagine meeting baby Lily really cheered him up in what must had been a really dark part of his life. So, getting the inspiration and the will to create stuff again because of that really fits with my vision of him.

In most of the de aged KimCale fics I read so far, the plot is mostly about the fam discovering the horrible abuse Cale had to go through as Kim Rok Soo, suffering thru the PTSD and helping him out of it, and all that hurt/comfort, healing type of beautiful angst.
But sometimes I crave some twisted angst, where kimcale is de-aged to a point before the abuse and the trauma. Where he was just a soft, smart little boy who loved his family and complained about side dishes.
I want to see Ron offering him the usual lemonade, but to his surprise, Rok Soo refuses. Because why should he accept something he doesn't like? I want to see him smile care-freely, leading Ron by his hand while calling him grandpa, and have the old butler reminisce on the young og!Cale who used to smile just the same. I want to see Choi Han stiffen in shock, wondering if this child is really the same boy he saw in the worthlessness test. I want the kids to play with him, see him tear up when he trips and gets hurt. He doesn't say he's fine when they ask- it hurts, he says instead, and wants to go home and nap. They wish he had stayed the same, admitting he was in pain and avoiding getting hurt. I want to see him hang around with Eruhaben and Rosalyn, excited about their experiments and magic, marvelling at the dragon's golden hair with utter wonder, curious about every new, fun discovery. I want to see him be picky about meals, but eat all the snacks Vicross brings, saving the sweetest ones for 'appa and eomma'. I want him to still get into all sorts of trouble, courtesy of the curse, and have Eruhaben help him out every time, complaining about how much of an unlucky bastard he was, all while patting and hugging the scared Kim Rok Soo.
I want to see him show affection and love freely, show discomfort and sorrow, without the fear of being abandoned or hurting/being hurt by the other. Just a child who is oblivious about the curse, still too young to understand pain or hunger.
I want a small, expressive Kim Rok Soo, that is a clear contrast with the stoic, grown up Cale Henituse.

I saw ppl were discussion how they didn’t rlly like the pacing- but for me I thought the pacing was perfect. I didn’t mind the slow burn(?) or conflicts not being resolved immediately. I mean, I get to see how it develops, their reasons for why the conflict was dragging on, and overall, I didn’t mind the filler scenes- Idk if it counts as filler scenes tbh… tho I did think it was somewhat (even if it’s very small) all relevant to the plot in some way! idkkk but its vry silly i hope my post convinces u to read it :3
