I FEEL LIKE I MIGHT BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. Mainly trying to keep the stacks as low and possible and just trying to not get into the present at all, cus that special skill clashes way too hight to start, so at this point I might just not have an ego to win it, BUT THEN the past skil deals 700+ on cracked coins, that shit might not be able to stagger on lose but it can still kill, and if it doesn't the burn will!

WELP, I fucked up

By the end I was down to 6 Sinners and one of them was staggered, Future went up to almost 30 and I was missing 2k until threshold, I got too antsy and ended up trying to deal those 2k as a last ditch effort, in retrospective should have played it straight.

Next time I'll change some egos, probably will still use heishos but with some subs, by the end I realized that lowering the past before clashing would make me live for longer, main problem there is that you kind of let the others increase but that seems better than dying on cracked coins.

Honestly, I commend this fight for being quite interesting, I am not giving judgement yet on balance or anything, there are plenty of variables to this fight and I just hope I didn't fucked up choosing what skills to take from the boss

I feel like I had a great deck here but the matchup worked against me, also perhaps bloated it making it less effective. Those cards that I got from defect were great though.

Man, I sometimes really hate this game cus I was in THIS situation and I am still afraid for my life after 41 fucking turns. Ever since Hei Leng I feel like PM's been really good at making fights that progress really well, where you are not out of the woods until the idiot of the season's HP hits 0, but when I've been playing this long...

Even outside of my usual complains, this Line feels too long per fight imo. I am not sure if it's inflated HP or the frequency (or amount) in which enemies get protection, but it ended up being a lil bit too much.

Granted, I didn't play perfectly, sometimes the "PM fans can't read" part of me takes over, but it is frustrating playing for this long a single fight (Counting all waves as a single since you can't save and exit) and be threatened to start all over if your 95% success rate move decides to fail on you or the enemy decides to hit your key player to death on cracked red coins.

The EGO I clashed with here was guaranteed to win and the 9 para that he gets on clash lose helps, but 2 sinners still died from this and had to survive for 2 more turns to win.

Anyways, good luck to anyone doing this Line on the weekend, don't get too much bleed on the Ring Nursefather, get as much karmic consquence on Rien as you can and remember that if you are trying to abuse Defense assist on Faust, the Sinner that would be hit has to not have a defense skill on 🫡

Oh, also I think not picking an "enhancement" on Rien is the way to go, Survivavility gives both you and him like 40% more max HP, which sounds nice but means survive for longer, Power gives a random attack type a boost every turn but that mostly benefits him, since you probably will at most have 2 types in each sinner. Unless you have RienSang or have already planned to nuke him somehow with an EGO, I don't think it's worth it.

I don't know if this was widespread but I think this is the first time I've seen the intro art lol

Also fixed the extraction intros, nice! Honestly never thought this would change, though I think is an after effect of updating the engine rather than an intentional fix haha

Holy shit, that was the most cruel thing that has happened in this show so far. This was a random Wednesday for me dude, I am still in shock. For a moment I thought maybe he's faking it for some reason? Maybe losing his memories is part of a plan? But if this is what he was hoping would happen that's insane.

My random theory would be that he went to find his own book and something something, now he's like that. Maybe in the hopes that his deaths actually count for the book to be there, and then that maybe it would show events of the future.

I feel like the author must have thought that readers were getting too used to shit and decided to introduce a whole new hell for the dude.

Yesterday I read a post that has stuck around with me throughout the day, I don't have it at hand to confirm that I am not misrepresenting what they said but in short the poster was annoyed at people who dismiss a show like Digimon Beatbreak as "A kids show", when in reality it depicts themes like human trafficking, depression, PTSD, suicide ideation, etc.

The annoyance is completely understandable but what stuck with me is the vibes (Which again, hopefully I am not misrepresenting) of the post, as if trying to say "It's obviously not a kids show! It has deep themes and serious topics!"

But I think it's very important that we never remove these shows from their context, which is to say, Digimon Beatbreak IS a kids show, and that doesn't subtract from its value, maybe even the other way around, making a show suitable for kids that can hold interest regardless of age is a great achievement.

Specially having just seen EP 31 I can say that, yeah, this shit is awesome dude.

You mean to tell me that the bullied girl that was pushed into solitude by her peers to the point of being unable to leave her house, manifested the one Digimon that is seen as having no right to live in a technology dependent society, which ultimately makes her take several huge steps towards her recovery?

It's great! Honestly a great stand alone episode to watch. But at the end it is something that I think many kids would find solace in. So I would never remove the Kid label from it even if my grown ass is seated here trying to hold off the tears!

It is annoying to have the stuff you love dismissed without thought but I don't think we should never feel ashamed of liking what we like or try to separate it from it's main demographic. This is a timeless discussion, happens every time a Steven Universe, She-ra, Digimon, MLP, Bluey or whatever comes out!

Finally I would just like to diss all those shows that are filled to the brim with "Mature" themes but have nothing to say about them! I'm mainly thinking of Yuusha no Kuzu, which I think it's bad bad with all my body but I am still watching because I hate myself.
