It's so funny as a Swiss person myself to see Jimin & Jungkook in my own country 🥹 I'm so happy to see them appreciate sights that are familiar to me.
I thought it might be fun to bring you my perspective on those episodes and some of my thoughts on certain details XD
Some things were so hilarious like it made me laugh so much
Firstly it brought me so much joy to see them at Migros 🥹 This is a store everybody goes to and basically all Migros resembles each other.
What was so funny is that Jungkook basically stole a plastic bag from the fruit/vegetable section and used it to pack their things 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's not something swiss people would do. Plastic bags are solely for fruit/vegetable (if you buy any) and then you're supposed to buy additional bags at the cashier. They even had enough money left to do it since a bag is 20cents. So the fact that they are both millionaire but took a plastic bag instead of buying one was so hilarious 🤣 they were lucky because the cashier could have said something but they got away with it thankfully lol
Another thing that made me laugh is when they were at Caumasee and Jungkook ordered a hot tea to pour into ice instead of ordering a regular Ice tea. I was like "Noooooooo" because Ice tea is kind of a big deal in Switzerland, we have very famous Ice tea that everyone drinks. I was looking forward for them to try it but he did this instead XD I was so sad 🤣 My dream of them trying Ice tea is slipping away.
Another thing was them buying that instant pasta dish like 🤣🤣🤣 We don't really have convenience store like in Asia where the food there is good ect. Usually that pasta thing you find at Coop is really a desperate thing to buy. Like we wouldn't buy it because it is really bad. Maybe someone would buy it if there was nothing left when the store is about to close at 7pm. So seeing them take it I was like "Noooo" 🤣🤣 but thank god Jungkook managed to make it better 🥹🫶🏻
Another thing I want to note is Jimin's ability to drive in the mountains. Usually it's a bit harder to drive there and I'm sure Jimin isn't really used to it but I think he drove very well. (In some places it can be a bit dangerous because people are so used to it that they drive really fast and unsafely). But I agreed on their comment that USUALLY swiss people don't drive very aggressively which is good, especially since it's foreign to them. JK rode his motorcycle also well (sometimes we are annoyed at bikers because they drive unsafely too but JK was very good)
Funny thing when they were at the first restaurant, at first they tried eating with forks and such and it made me laugh when they started eating with their hands xD in a restaurant as classy as that one seemed to be we usually wouldn't do that so it made me smile 🤭
I find it absolutely criminal to give them only 100 francs per day for 2. In Switzerland for a day it's practically nothing and I find it's a bit of a shame they can't enjoy everything switzerland has to offer fully. But then at the end of episode 2 I was really relieved to see them at that fancy restaurant (clearly they aren't that strict about budget because that one would cost way more than 100chf.) So my mind was eased. I don't want to see them eating fast food every day lol
I really hope they will try the fondue 🥹
Switzerland is really big on trains and their ponctuality, so if Jikook did not run fast enough the doors could have closed in on them and they would have missed it XD I was glad they made it in time. It felt so nice to see them riding our train 🥹 I absolutely adore train rides here (even if it's expensive as fuck). I hope they'll get to take other trains in future episodes.
Overall I adore seeing them in my country, it's a very surreal feeling. And them saying "it's like a fairytale" "are we in a storybook?" Reminds me just how beautiful Switzerland really is. For us it became somewhat normality, even if we see beautiful landscape everyday we can be a bit blasé lol we don't always stop and appreciate it. (I try to do it every once in a while when I go by the lake to take it all in and remind myself just how magical it is.)

If I heard JK correctly there is a chance jikook came to my town (AND I MISSED THEM? I SWEAR THAT I LOOKED WHEN THEY WERE HERE BUT SOMEHOW WAS IN DENIAL THEY WOULD COME 😭😭) So maybe jikook walked in front of my house XD I would go crazy lololol but we'll have to wait and see in future episodes if they did. Maybe they didn't stop there but how could Jungkook know that name if they didn't drop by? We'll see.
Anyway that was my two cents on their swiss experience so far and I'll make a similar post next week if I notice something interesting!!

I wanted to talk a little about the catchphrase they used on Twitter: "청춘 아니가, 낭만이지!" which they translated as "This is what I call youth!", but in my humble opinion it loses A LOT of the actual meaning (and it will drive you crazy.)
The literal translation is: "this isn't youth, this is romance!"
NOW DON'T PANIC. I had the same wide-eyed reaction until I pulled my years of Korean learning out of the back of my brain and remembered that, although the literal way to translate 낭만 (nangman) is romance/romantic, it leans into the meaning of "romanticizing something". I'm romanticizing this moment right now, this is ideal, perfect, beautiful. Not so much related to romantic love, but still pretty different from "youth."
The concept of youth, in Korean literature/media/culture/society, as well as in other Asian cultures, is related to what all of you must recognize as the most beautiful moment in life. Both in Japanese and Korean, the word for youth can be picked apart to mean "blue spring" (靑春). It's also an incredibly romantic term to describe an idealized view of youth, that sense of freedom.
For them, this trip was more than a reminder of the freedom of youth. It was romantic– it was ideal. It's such a powerful statement.

I been saying this. JK is large, but JM is in charge, but JK is defiant to both the company and even JM, sometimes. For the most part JK will listen to JM, but when JK gets a wild hair up his ass, he starts breathing down JM and the company's neck. Look how he spammed Jimin's recent live. He left 18 or 19 comments on there. And he wasn't asking if he could come to a taping, he was telling JM he wanted to go. He said I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines quietly. You think he can't tell JM hppy bday in private and normally? Nah he had to be extra, man went and showered, put on his best shirt, cologne, fluffed his hair & his slut glasses, took a whole minute teasing his man, before whispering happy bday, BRO with that smirk. The sarcasm that was dripping out of that BRO & that smirk. JM isn't his bro, no matter how badly at times JM makes it seem that way, cause he's older and tries to respect rules. And JM will listen to these people, until he tells you he was with JK at 4 am or waking up and seeing Jungkookie is his favorite thing. How he gonna wake up and see JK unless they live together? This was after it was revealed JK did not live at the dorms anymore. The dots are connected. Did you see the panic on JM's face when he and JK were late to the radio station together. He knew the gig was up. He knew if they were all coming from the same place, why only these two were late & took a detour? They also made out in the car on the way, cause JM could not stop smiling at his man, but that's beside the point. Plus he knew they were busted & he was shy.
As for JK, well he doesn't like being told what to do, not even by Jimin sometimes & Jimin understands that too, its called balance and equal footing in the relationship, despite JK being younger. JK sucked his ear in front of 90K people and JM did not stop JK. JM did not stop JK from saying he makes JM happiest, twice. JM also finally gave up and let JK backhug him after fighting him off so bad, while staring the camera down, I might add. So where JM use to show off their relationship the most, he grew up, matured, took his role as oldest more serious & probably lets the hate get to him a bit & JK, well he said fuck your feelings, you can't stop a man in love, esp a defiant one, a spontaneous, I do first, think later, rule breaker. JM is reserved nowadays and JK tries to be obedient for JM's sake, but this man has come so close to outing Jikook, even I am like come collect your man Jimin. He loves Jimin. He wants to shout it to the world, but he can't. Not just cause of the their society, but Hybe, BTS, and shitty ass fans who only care about their happiness, not BTS. The man deleted his IG on the spot where he barely talked about JM suspiciously, but hasn't shut up about JM on weverse. Let that sink in. IG was another way to bring in money for the company and you think JM didn't restrict what he posted about their relationship or even JK himself cause he didn't want to cause an uproar? He said watch this and deleted the whole damn thing. And now he goes live consistently when he isn't supposed too, promoting his boyfriend and spamming his boyfriend with comments. Don't get me wrong. JM has been loud as fuck too with his love for JK, but JM also will follow rules more then JK, but JK said fuck the rules. He doesn't listen to HYbe, he listens to JM, for the most part. JM keeps JK grounded for the most part. These two are beating the odds tho and have for years. And I wish them nothing but happiness, cause if anyone ever deserved a happy ending. Its these two.

JK can be defiant with Jimin but not when it counts. When it counts or when it's something crucial he will listen. Also Jimin doesn't control JK and leaves him be to do what he wants. Which is healthy, honestly. E.g he knows if he really put his foot down JK would stop drinking live but he won't do that. He will suggest that he stop, but will otherwise leave it up to him.
They do have a good thing going for them and like u said I hope they're content and happy. They deserve it. I love them

The timing is also, as always, thought out. And this time the date giving us 8/11 and the time giving us the 123 is no coincidence in my apparently very insane opinion.

I would like to talk for a second here about how happy JK looks.
He himself talks about how he's been cooking a lot and eating a lot and he put on weight. I, for one, think he looks amazing. I hated to see him so skinny back in his Feb lives.
I think this is a first time in a long time we are seeing his eye smile even when it's not about JM. He's happy. He's active. He's working and working out and looking good and gaining muscle. He has JM around more and he's just back on track and he's happy. And it shows.
Satiated. That's a word that comes to mind. He has all the things he loves. JM, food, music, JM. He has it all now.
Also, our Jiminah, must be over the moon with his babe getting his man boobies back.
I mean, those chesties, or dare I say breasties were his besties, he just cannot keep his hand off them. LITERALLY.
And the hair, lol.
How he starts the live with his hair down and then goes to put it up. Am I the only one that as he does that is thinking about this?
Which was JM commenting on JK's mukbang live (which was deleted, ugh), telling him how much he wants to tie his hair back neatly (oh, the cute art we got from that one...).
Can I also mention, before we move on, just how adorable that man is?

What strikes me every single time is that sense of naivete about him. It feels like he's literally doing these things for the first time, and the excitement and expressions on his face, it's just so sweet/cute. So endearing. I mean, it's not the first time he's worn his glasses, and yet the surprise how much better things look with them on, it's just so adorable.
And of course I cannot not add this edit, cause it's just hilarious.
I'm surprised, yet not surprised every single time again as to how rude and stupid fans can be. At the start of the live, just before JK goes to pull up his hair (and I really want to hope that this wasn't the reason that he tied up his hair at the end), he reads out a comment calling him Jungsoon which is in essence calling him girly or "baby girl", which he replies to:

JK talks about not singing too loud at night. Explaining how even though he thought the place was properly sound proofed, and although the neighbours can't hear him singing, they can feel the vibrations from the speakers, oopsy. He received a kind of complaint about it, and says how since he hasn't been singing loudly at night (well, not as loudly, lol).

The way JK keeps doing this, supporting JM and his work, I mean you have to be blind not to see this.
JK literally sang or hummed JM's Angel pt. 1 four times throughout his live, including his funny as hell ad-lib that now that we have the translated live we can well appreciate (I was scared they won't translate that part, but they came through, well at least with that).

Now all we really need is Letter, although I have a feeling we aren't going to get that. Which in itself, their reluctance to talk about it or sing it ever since it's been released, that is a big ass neon light telling us just how private and personal this song is to THEM.
Also, side note, that adlibbed Angel in Korean - JK's how to tell us he's drinking a highball without actually telling us he's drinking a highball, lol.
JK says he's been on YT and TikTok lately (making it clear that he's not on IG, which makes me think he might actually still be lurking on IG, idk, it's the criminal mind in me, lol). That's where he said he first heard Night dancer (will get to that song in a sec) and obviously also saw Jiminie's Seventeen Super dance challenge.
JK told us about how much he's been listening to Night dancer. Can't stop listening to it was more like it. He plays it several times during the live. And it's a good song. I get why he likes it. And the lyrics, I also get why this song is living rent free in his mind.

I keep going back to read and re-read those lyrics. Eyes tear up. This is definitely one that hits the heart strings, and so understandably a song that JK is feeling right now.

Thing is, for 2022-3 it wouldn't be a Troye Sivan song I would choose. It would be this one.
The song is by a Japanese artist called Imase, who went online to thank and show his appreciation to JK for listening to his song and mentioning it in his live.
I can't help but wonder if this is why JK knows that Japanese YT teacher so well, is he touching up on his Japanese?
So, part 2 JK sang 2 songs by Taeyang (hilarious how he stops singing Shoop the second it's Lisa's part), 2 songs by Seventeen, talked about how Jun taught him the dance for Super and Mingyu asked him to do the challenge but hasn't called him, and then proceeded to say that he won't do it, lol.

After singing fighting, JK, as we so dearly know him, turns to the camera and asks: "should we sleep now?"
He turns back to sing fighting for a few seconds and then:
Adds "fighting for tomorrow", waves bye, says he dropped by briefly to play, that he'll find good songs for us and come back, asking "but these are all songs that you already knew, right? You probably listen to more music than I do. I really don't listen to music", waves bye, says not to get sick and be happy, and he's done.

Look, it's not like he didn't warn us. Multiple times. He said he'd have to go to sleep at 1 am cause he has somewhat of a schedule the next morning. It's the way he does it that has me on the floor laughing.
I didn't talk about the CP song he played and sang, because yeah, CP, not much to talk about, other than again, this is an artist that JK likes, admires, and one that he is choosing to share his music with us and sing his songs.
Anyways, before I end this, a couple of points I noticed:
The songs he played and sang to us. JK said it loud and clear. And his live closing statement kind of cements the fact that he came to sing these songs he thinks are good songs, and that even though he, in his own words, doesn't really listen to music these days, is obviously listening to these songs and wanted to play them and sing them to us. Songs that happen to be by his partner (4 times he goes back to Angel pt. 1 in his live for a total of over 5 minutes singing or humming or adlibbing it), his friends (Seventeen), artists he admires (CP and Taeyang) and a special extra song that happens to live in his head at the moment (Night dancer).
The absence of the songs he didn't play. I think it was kind of loud and clear, don't you?
Anyway, JK came back to us, as he has been doing when JM is absent. He's happy. He looks happy. So I'm happy. And as much as I want more frequent lives from him, if JM being away or absent is the catalyst then I would rather he have his Jiminie by his side than me enjoy him going live. And him going live is pure joy. Do you understand what I'm willing to give up here? Do I need to make myself any clearer?
This feels obvious but… I feel like something Tkkrs miss is that if Taekook did the shit that Jikook does instead of Jikook then that’s who we would root for. We would be right there with them if that was the case.
We’re not out here supporting Jikook because we think their faces look nice next to each other. We have drawn the conclusion that there’s more going on between them because of their repeated, documented, obvious-as-fuck behavior. Their literal words, actions and chemistry that is palpable even through a damn screen. Seriously people. If ANY OTHER duo in Bangtan was at their level, that’s who I’d be squinting at like hmmm, what’s going on there? But Jimin and Jungkook clearly have something that no other duo in BTS has. It’s clear as day if you watch unedited content.
Jikook are the ones who make the translators just go “???” in lieu of a caption half the time cause there’s no way to describe their actions and affectionate way with each other and fucking sexual tension without it sounding gay af. They’re the ones who are always together, according to them, the other members, and our own EYES. They’re the ones who constantly bring each other up, talk like lovers, know everything about each other. It’s always them.
If it was Tae and JK, or Yoongi and Jimin, or Joon and Jimin having that level of consistent, obvious connection then I would be raising them up, talking about them all the time, and calling them my OTP. But as it is, it’s Jikook. It’s always Jikook.

For those who don't know, it's a tradition in Korean culture to make seaweed soup for someone's birthday. And no, it's not common at all for moms to go out of their way to do it for someone who 1) is not related to them or 2) live in their house. Especially if the birthday person isn't even present at the table, which judging by Jimin's reaction, he wasn't.
This is why all the reactions from k-kookminers were variations of "???!!!" and also probably why JK wanted to bring it up in the first place. It's both unexpected and incredibly cute, funny in a bizarre sort of way.
JK saying that he also ate seaweed soup, which his mom made for the particular occasion of it being Jimin's birthday, also has a way of implying that Jimin's considered to be a part of the household even if he isn't physically present. At the very least, it highlights just how much his mom cares for and treasures Jimin and also how strong the bond is between the Jeon & Park families.
the thing about that video is that its a weverse story, his first in 3 years, and every time you see his stories that's what you'll see. a full thirst trap for Jimin, his very very good bro.

Plus JK greeted Jimin using the same nickname tag that Jimin had put up as his Happy Birthday Jimin sign on his WLive. Meaning it's very likely that this is a frequent nickname Jimin is called by the members or JK was Watching his WLive 😍
And not to mention numbers because that always is something that's iffy to me but JKs video was 1:03 long. And he posted it on Jimins birthday, the 13th. It's BTS's number and Jimins number and Jikooks number (their favorite number) and it just keeps popping up for them!

Do you ever feel like Kookmin haven’t really been hiding anything? They obviously have never confirmed anything. But they don’t seem to shy away from certain things. They act like my husband and I do in a professional setting. We still act like a couple, but aren’t gross about it in front of everyone. What if they are just going about their everyday lives without the need (or ability) to confirm it to the world?

It's an undeniable fact that JK and JM are both intelligent, professional people who also care very deeply for each other. Rather than hiding it, they go out of their way to express it over and over in as many ways that they can — through words, action, art (so much GCF Tokyo on my timeline today!) — in gestures big and small.
No matter the narrative that antis and solos try to push, KM will continue to do go on with their everyday lives unbothered. Today just confirms what we already knew. In addition to that, this whole Instagram series from the past few days shows how they're constantly in control of what they choose to share with us. Out of millions of questions and comments, JK chose what he wanted to engage with. There's agency and intentionality in that (and in everything else the tannies do, for that matter) that shouldn't be underestimated.
Whether it's KM or BTS, I really feel like there's nothing left for them to 'prove' anymore. It's our part as fans to just stick by their side, support them from afar, and appreciate the moments they decide to share with us, without doubt or insecurity. 💜
