YA LIT MEME: nine quotes ➝ shades of earth by beth revis
Just because.
Books Reread in 2016 | Across the Universe (Beth Revis)
I'm a slut for beautiful sunsets and the stars
Books I’ve read in 2015: Shades of Earth by Beth Revis
“What is in our hearts is real whether we name it or let it exist only in darkness or silence.“
I love how stars are billions of miles apart and we’re like “that’s a soup ladle”.
Favorite Books | Across the Universe (Beth Revis)
Across the Universe by Beth Revis!
Such a beautiful cover <3
i love people who get excited about stars
I’ve recently finished reading the trilogy “Across the universe” by Beth Revis and I loved it!
So here is a fanart about Elder in the space, behind him Centauri-Earth.
No one’s ever illustrated this scene before!!

Some quotes:
“I’ve never seen the stars before. And I never knew they were so beautiful.”
“I can think of nothing but the stars. It is like a piece of my soul had been lost, empty, and it is now filled with the light of a million stars. They are all that I have ever dreamed of; they are nothing that I ever expected… I will never, never be the same. I have seen stars. Real stars.”
Oh my word. This is stunningly beautiful.
We have to go. We have to face the world below. It will be better to die quickly with the taste of freedom on our lips than to live long lives pretending not to see the walls that imprison us.
And here we are, in the middle, surrounded by a sea of stars.
A million suns.
Any of them could hold a planet. Any of them could hold a home.
But all of them are out of reach.
This is the secret of the stars, I tell myself. In the end, we are alone.
