Third day without connection at work, Wind-Tre is getting on my nerves, because I have to catch up in the evening.

UNPLUGGED.

I’ve been offline for the last 2 consecutive days at work, and yesterday I couldn’t bother to post in the evening, but today I feel the need to do it.

This photo of Sugar was shot in an abandoned factory, where we managed to create a magical vibe and some stunning photo together.

The old Contax-Zeiss Sonnar T* 85mm f2.8 is a great lens and, with the aid from the recently bought lens hood, has become perfect to make the subject pop out from the background, also in the most challenging of light conditions.

By the way, make an effort to shoot in manual mode (and with manual focus) whenever you can!

You will thank me later.

CROSSING PATHS.

It is not easy to find models doing nude photography.

It is even more difficult to work with the ones you really love, you can consider yourself lucky if you manage a single shooting with some of these goddess, let alone 2.

That’s why I am sorry for not managing to work with Manya any more, and about the last 2 times when we just couldn’t manage to arrange things, but at least I have 2 entire shootings in the bag, and I can show you this incredible beauty.

SKIN CANVAS.

I don’t pretend for my models to be full of tattoos, I like also models that have none, but I like for them to express their personality in any way possible, also by decorating their bodies.

SIMILAR AND YET DIFFERENT.

When I shoot a sequence of photos, I select them, but I still end up with many technically sound images that are just variations on the same theme.

If you see them all together, they might look boring, but if you see one at the time, and separated by Months or even Years, they look fresh and appealing.

SPECTACULAR VS INTIMATE.

On my Patreon I want to share the more intimate photos of the models, the ones showing their humanity, the souls hidden behind those beautiful eyes.

As I was browsing through Mary's photos, I found one that was majestic, and I wanted to show it to my Patrons first.

Still, a couple of frames later I saw another one, where she looks less majestic but more human, smiling, vulnerable... and I remembered about my promise.

So I decided to keep the latter for my Patrons and share the majestic version on ordinary social media feed today.

I don't want you to adore these models like goddesses on a pedestal, I want you to love them like real women, because it is this authenticity that we find so irresistible.

This veracity of the models is what makes my work so special and different from the approach of other photographers and, when I manage to capture it on my sensor, I'm really happy!
