okay so Iâm not gonna make this a super long drawn-out post or anything because I donât have my thoughts together enough for that yet. but generally the way I feel about the ending of Good Omens is divided pretty cleanly in two:
1) I am very sad that we didnât get to see Aziraphale and Crowley have a happy ending in their own universe;
and
2) I think itâs a love letter to humanity that it ended the way it did. I also think itâs insanely beautiful and poignant that the ending is basically âtheir souls will always find their way back to each other in every universe, forever.â I genuinely canât think about that too much or it makes me forget how to breathe and swallow.
This was always going to be complicated. There was never going to be a clean and easy way out, as much as we all wished there would be.
I will never stop thinking about these two, in all of their incarnations and across all universes (including the one we watched over the course of the series), finding each other and falling in love and proving that there is so much value in daring to question and to break the cycle and to make sacrifices and to LOVE.
I love them. I always will.
Such a weird nitpick, but why didnât the officiatent call them Cassandra and Nathanial. While we know that Nate stands for Nathanial, it is more than likely that Cassie is a nickname for Cassandra. Even if they are fully established nicknames, itâs a legal thing that would likely require their full names.
cassie crying while nate is getting beat tf up in the back is sending the fuck out of me đ
Ok but where can I view the trailer when it drops?
âTheyâre just fictional charactersâ ok then why do I feel like their heartache personally cracked my ribs?

Something I think wouldâve been more realistic is when Daphne married Simon, or at least a few months or a year after the wedding, for one of her sisters, like Hyacinth or Francesca to live with her as her wards. Especially since Daphne was now a duchess, being trained in âwomanly skillsâ would likely go to the highest ranked women in the family. I know during Tudor times it was common, but was that something that happened during the regency era?

Iâm glad to see Portia Featherington so relaxed and happy so far this season. Iâve grown to really sympathise with her in that while her methods and actions were questionable, it was a realistic mother who wanted her daughters to be secure, all while dealing with an irresponsible husband of which she is forced to depend on. Now doting on her grandson and granddaughters and calling Colin âmy dear sonâ, she probs finally feels secure
