Something about Makoto's nightmares are about being left behind by Haru. Something about Haru not seriously considering his future until he had to think about a future without Makoto. Something about them always being together since childhood. Something about Haru not liking to talk, can communicate without words with Makoto. Something about how at the end of The Final Stroke when the audience was unsure on what happened to Haru, the first reassurance of Haru's health we get is Makoto meeting him by the water. That everything will be alright.
