E-15 Chiba Ryuunosuke - Character Profile
Halfway through the Profiles for the kids now, and we have Chiba this time, which I’m certain is one that has been hotly anticipated.
And before you ask, Hayami’s Profile is 4 more down the line.

E-15 Chiba Ryuunosuke (千葉 龍之介) – speaks with results; the taciturn sniper
“That pressure of not being allowed to miss, that precious moment of ‘this is our only shot!!’”
In Class E’s assassinations, this student has been entrusted to take on the important role of sniper. Usually doesn’t speak much, and once he’s been appointed a mark he will stoically complete his the mission. His attitude when approaching an assassination truly resembles a “worker”.
If everything stays still, it’s rare for him to miss, and he’s proud of his accuracy in marksmanship. His title as Class E’s best sniper isn’t just for show.
His ability to grasp spatial diagrams is high. Aside from sniping, this also has plenty of advantages when applied to the fields of architecture and design.
(TN: the original word for “worker” here is 仕事人 (Shigotonin). Aside from its basic meaning of some regular worker/professional, the term has also been used to describe people who deal in “dirty work”, like mercenaries/assassins.
This usage was popularised by the classic Hissatsu Shigotonin drama series, subsequently adapted into other media.

Code Name: Gal Game Protagonist (ギャルゲーの主人公/ Gyaru Ge no Shujinkou), Takebayashi’s idea
The first time Takebayashi saw Chiba, that nickname was what suddenly popped into his head. Why is that? Well anyone who looks at that hairstyle should think so too.
