A new partner.
That is the goal of Portis, Pete, Trudy, and Scuttle as they take part in the annual worldwide C.R.I.M.E.S. convention. They hope that among this assembly of mischievous and devious miscreants, at least one will possess the skills and, more importantly, the assets needed to take their criminal activities to another level. But how does one procure such a perfect partner? Well, perhaps a certain scientist is a lot closer than he thinks.
He just needs to look.

What song can you imagine the Phantom Blot humming to himself.
For me, a Frank Sinatra song. I can see him humming to My Way, World We Knew and My Way of Life.

WALT DISNEY'S COMICS AND STORIES RETURNS AS A 192-PAGE MONTHLY GIANT, ALONGSIDE UNCLE SCROOGE!
In a move that will send waves of excitement through Disney comics fandom, Walt Disney's Comics and Stories is making a triumphant return as a 192-page monthly—an unprecedented length for the American comics market! Not only that, but Uncle Scrooge will also relaunch as a 64-page monthly series, bringing the richest duck in the world back to comic shop shelves in grand fashion.
A Legendary Revival
Disney comics have a storied history in the U.S., with Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories first launching in 1940. For decades, it was one of the most successful comic books ever published, at one point boasting millions of copies in circulation. Now, in an era where Disney properties dominate screens big and small, the return of its classic comic book legacy feels long overdue.
The newly relaunched Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories will feature a mix of classic and modern Disney tales, bringing together Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and the entire cast of beloved Disney characters. With 192 pages per issue, it will be the longest-running regular comic book in the U.S. in terms of page count—a bold and ambitious move in today’s market.
Meanwhile, Uncle Scrooge will return with 64 pages per month, showcasing the high-adventure and treasure-hunting tales that made Carl Barks' and Don Rosa’s stories legendary.
A New Era for Disney Comics in the U.S.
This relaunch comes at a time when Disney comics have struggled for consistent publication in North America. While European countries such as Italy and Denmark continue to produce new Disney comics at a rapid pace, American fans have had to deal with sporadic releases and limited distribution.
The return of these prestige-format, high-page-count editions signals a renewed commitment to Disney comics in the U.S. Whether longtime fans or new readers, this is a golden opportunity to dive into some of the best all-ages storytelling ever put to paper.
What to Expect?
192 pages of Disney adventures every month in Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories
64 pages of Scrooge McDuck treasure hunts in Uncle Scrooge
A mix of classic reprints, modern stories, and potentially new U.S.-produced content
Availability in comic shops, bookstores, and possibly digital platforms
No official creative teams have been announced yet, but speculation is already running wild. Will this include classic European stories never before published in the U.S.? Could we see the return of fan-favorite creators?
One thing is certain—Disney comics are back in a BIG way.
Stay tuned to Bleeding Cool for more updates as this story develops!

I just got word that... Dr. Enguime is stupid and wrong about everything. The mirror planet will not go away! (aka what he said in the end yippe my children are saved!)
The Rhyming Man is a Mickey Mouse villain from the Floyd Gottfredson strips. He talks in rhyme as a parody of foreign villains' accents. The
Ok Mouse fandom. I don't know enough about the Rhyming man to fix this stub of an article, so I'm posting it here in case someone wants to take a stab at it
Yeah, the disney fandom wiki is not a good to comics villains, especially the ones that appear very few times or are have more stuff in other languages, but it wild that the world to come, isn't on here for Rhymes since it does a offical English translation.
Tbh FANDOM (the company not the concept) sucks anyways, and I’ve been of the opinion that we should have an independent Disney (Comics) Wiki for a long time now, so I’ve thought it really not worth it to bother about these. Same even for the arguably more complete Scrooge McDuck Wikia (which also has quite a lot of fan stuff and inaccuracies).
Also like these Wikis really annoy me with the amount of unchecked fanfiction that ends up on them. Like not too long ago I had some talkytalk with other fellas about how for some reason Newton Gearloose’s first appearance is wrong almost everywhere, likely because someone made a mistake once years ago and everybody else copied it (one checking Inducks would show the right date and issue number…), which also makes me question if it might even be simpler to write a completely new one from scratch compared to editing everything. Also because Wiki editors can be really annoying about change. Just read the talk page on Felicity/Amelia/Amelie Fieldmouse’s name.
I totally agree, the fandom company suckssss not only do they make there sites unusable without a ad blocker but when people stop using and updating them, they decided to use a Ai crap instead, and the worst part because it the main wiki for so many fandoms, most people will take what it says without a second thought, spending more misinformation!
Every day, I hope for its eventually downfall and the rise for independent wiki to be a starting point.
Do Miraheze instead it is so much better than fandom.
The Rhyming Man redesign (sorta)? More likely than you think!
Yall I made a straw page since my friend @memelordotherblog is doing one! If you want to ask me anything or draw me something go ahead. Hope y'all like the cybercore thing.
hey. i don't like what they're saying here.
me with mirror!blot next week:
I know, right!? I hope the doc is wrong! 😭
Welp here's my plan for next week
Can someone please share with me (more) pics of Phantom Blot's face? It doesn't necessarily have to be from Mirror Christmas though!!
I don't know exactly if it's more obscure ones. But here's some compilation.
Anyway there's so much style for him, long/short even expressive mustache, large nose or not, to the shape of its head, and his outline eyebrows included, mouth shape like a real dog, black hair on the front (i like to call it rayman hair) behind or disheveled, black makeup below his eyes even lips.
Anyway many use the original Gottfredson one as references for PB and others a bit like Giorgio Cavazzano.
Anyway fan favorites design, is for Lorenzo Pastrovicchio, Stephano Turconi, Casty, Giorgio and the recently by Giuseppe.
Kinda forgot, but personally the worst design he gotten is by Luciano Gatto in Topolino ferroviere d'assalto, it's very different from the original one, and probably a bit uncanny. This artist did a better PB design in the later years.
There also another one, by Tiberio Colantuoni, who kinda forgot the mustache in one of the panels and the result was well...
Anyway, legends says, it was these uncanny versions, Egmont publishers says it was better to separate the italian one and call him Plattnase. Because unmasked PB is not that great. /jk
Luciano Gatto's blot looks like a grown up version of Pochacco if he went to a life of crime.

THERE THEY ARE OMG I WAS RIGHT HOLY SHIT!!!!!!
Also this page goes so hard I bet Nucci was constantly smiling like an idiot while writing it
Yes. This is one of my favorite pages. It must have been so fun figuring out the reverse version of these characters.
This Doublejoke unlike the other one does not chuckle 😔
But I don't know who is the guy in the first set of panels. Does anyone know?
Can we bully the alternate universe Mickey for essentially making his villain name "Can't Fall Asleep Man"!?
Imagine he had an accual villian name planned but someone asked him who is he on a very tired night and as a joke he said insomniac but it sticked lmao
I like to think they gave him that name because Disney is a company that "makes dreams come true," and one way to dream is by sleeping. Well, what if Mickey can't achieve his dream/wish? What if his dream becomes 'broken'? That is why he is called The Insomniac, as he can not fulfill that dream.
