And we can say they gave up, we got the numbers. Voting in Brazil is mandatory, it gets you a fine and even losing your elector's card if done often enough, but we have an opt-out when voting. That's a button you can press on our electronic ballot, but you still have to get up and go through the whole process for it (and yet people still do it to my bafflement).

The number of people that opted out from picking between Bolsonaro and Lula was the majority of the country, more people chose not to vote than to vote. And look where that fucking got us!

There was outcry and dawning of something that people apparently hadn't realised til then.

A choice will be made whether or not you take part in it. And you'll have to live through it.

What happened to Trump, or rather what he did, just like Bolsonaro, is an act of desperation. It's meant to disencourage people from voting, to gather more people to his side, because clearly he must feel like he isn't going to win and needs to take every possible measure to ensure this. (Because really, who would miss a headshot if they felt confident on it instead a much easier bullet in the chest? Just like Bolsonaro's very "lucky" stab wound that nicked no arteries, veins, and slid between his intestines)

Take a lesson from our book, and yours as well that already lived through a Trump-era. Heck, look at Bolivia preventing a coup by mobilising in the streets!

We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.
