last post reminds me of the time when i first started working and a coworker was badmouthing furries and i was like "you know im a furry right" and he was like "lmao sure bud" and i showed him my sona as my phone bg and he didnt talk to me for like a week+ then finally he was like "are you really a furry" and im like "yes heres more art of my sona" and he was like "hm. ok." then got fired the week after for pulling a box cutter on another employee

"what did students do before chatgpt?" well one time i forgot i had a history essay due at my 10am class the morning of so over the course of my 30 minute bus ride to school i awkwardly used by backpack as a desk, sped wrote the essay, and got an A on it.

six months later i re-read the essay prior to the final exam, went 'ohhhh yeah i remember this', got a question on that topic, and aced it.

point being that actually doing the work is how you learn the material and internalize it. ChatGPT can give you a short cut but you won't build you the the muscles.

Also sometimes you just turned something in late or got a bad grade and that was also part of life and learning.

And you might discuss the topic with classmates. And sure they might get things wrong, but they got things wrong through genuine human misunderstanding just like you and you learnt together. They weren't random number generators with a thesaurus.
