modern au married zukka where they still have to be in different places for work so every time they get together they swap clothes so they have a new set of each other's tshirts and clothes to remind them of the other.

and besides texts and facetime they often send each other letters for the Vibes and the little extra specialness. the letters range from long drawn-out journal entries, to little receipts and tea stubs to show a glimpse of their week, to just dumb little jokes. (sokka once sent a knock knock joke one letter at a time.)

leaving each other hour-long voicemails that are usually just stupid stuff about what random things they're seeing, but the contract is they Have to listen to the full thing, no matter how stupid it is.
