Love and Space Dust
5 Star Rated Poetry
“After spending over ten years in a literature club and hearing/reading more poems than I could count, I thought I had seen it all. I have never been so wrong. Love and Space Dust contains so many beautifully written poems that brought tears to my eyes that I didn’t put my Kindle down until I had read every single one of them at least twice.” Amazon.de Customer Review.
“Lovely book.” Amazon.com Customer Review
“I really enjoy all of the poems. They make you feel like never before. By far some of my favorite poems.” Amazon.com Customer Review.
“LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS!!” Goodreads Review.

I almost had you. But does an almost love count? I just want you back.

you know in movies, when they’re looking for something, digging, fingers moving the dirt frantically - i’m doing that right now, my fingers flipping through my mind but i still can’t remember the last time.
marina v., i wish i’d know that was it (i would have memorised everything). (via findingwordsforthoughts)
i have always had a way with words but i can no longer name the place that hurts.
marina v., bruised confession, #10. (via findingwordsforthoughts)
Love is a lot of different things. Love is happy. Love is sad. Love is your worst nightmare, and your most favorite dream, and love isn’t just chocolates and flowers and Valentine’s Day because that shit is torture for those of us who don’t have someone to point to when the host of the party asks us who we’re going with. Love is raw. Love is vulnerable. I don’t have a lot of things or people to love. I’ve been in love just once, and ever since it ended, love has been building up inside of me. It’s built up so much that sometimes I just want to curl up into a ball and cry or maybe scream at the top of my lungs about all of the people I’ve ever cared for and tears would rush down my cheeks and I would touch them, breathe them, feel them, and press my hands up against their cheeks. Love is pain. Love is the last thing on your list, the maybe, the thing you’re so embarrassed to hope for that you try to shut yourself up tight in black clothes and heels that squeeze your toes and pretend. You bite your tongue and you smile and you joke with your brain. Ha-ha, maybe. All of us need it. All of us want it. We want it so desperately that we’re ashamed. Love. The love bottles up inside all of us and our brains are the corks that keep us from being senseless and letting all pour out and ruin us, but at the end of the day, who doesn’t want to be ruined? Which one of us wants to be left alone and never fall and never break? Nobody. Love is the most painstakingly horrible, disgusting, ruthless and unrelenting monster, and we treat it like the loveliest dream. We are an optimistic society. Or maybe a selfish one. Love is everything that we can’t have and everything that’s already inside us.
