My ironstrange fic is starting out as a timetraveling genfic mess and I’m not happy about it.

Fanfic commissions are on too

As you might know, North Italy (where I do live) has been in lockdown since February 23rd and we won’t be able to get out at least until the end of Easter time (which means after April 12th). At first, they told us it was April 3rd, but the government extended the lockdown period. This means that I haven’t worked for the entire month of March and probably I won’t be able to work on April too.

I do not work for a company, I work in tourism, and I get paid just for the actual hours I’m at my job (the exhibition I was working before COVID19 was supposed to end on March 15th, I already got another job in a different exhibition, but that one too has been closed because of the virus). Basically: no work, no money.

Despite this situation, I still have expenses, though, and those will get even worse once universities will open again. I live in the North of Italy, but my University is in Florence, and that means that I’ll have to pay for the train and a hotel room once I could get out from Lombardy. I do not want to ask money to my parents, especially for something such as my studies, and for this reasons I decided to open some fanfic slots alongside with the art commissions on which I’m currently working.

how does it work?

I’ll accept ko-fi payments only

I’m offering just MCU fics slot (this includes all the tv series and all the movies in the extended universe BUT for the x-men ones because I’ve never watched them)

The payment will depend on the lenght of the fic and we will decide it together before I start to write the piece

€3,00 every 1000 words

Open slots and prices:

n. 3 short fics (1000/2000 words) from €3,00 to €6,00 donations

n. 2 medium fics (2000/5000 words) from €9,00 to €18,00 donations

n. 1 long fic (5000/10000 words) from € 21,00 to €33,00 donations

n. 1 multichapter long fic (10000+ words) higher than €36,00 donations

EDIT: the total lockdown will end on May 3rd, but they won’t reopen exhibitions and museums until we don’t know when. It’s very likely that I won’t be able to work until the end of the year.

Today marks exactly 60 days since the last time I was out. Two months without working, two months of my life completely gone without doing anything… I’m so freaking frustrated

So, from May 3rd we’ll be in phase 2, which is like total lockdown but we can go out to do sport (outside, not in the gym, and this makes me really sad) and we can visit our relatives if they live in the same region.

Still nothing about going back to work, at least for me. We really hoped phase 2 meant more freedom, but apparently it’ll be around phase 10 or something… I don’t even know.

I’ve almost finished the second medium fic and started to work at the multi chapters one, just one slot still open for this round, second round will arrive once I’ve posted everything of this one 😊

What drew you to Ironstrange?

Oh god, so many things. Their intellect together is so fun to consider, and the potential for their banter is the best! As far as on screen, two moments in particular come to mind. The wink, and then when Stephen comes out of his trance with the time stone, all the looks on Tony’s face are just too much. Their chemistry in general is on point but I think as a writer/RPer, the fact that you can put them in almost any setting and have fireworks makes them so fun to play with. Visually too...well. They’re attractive men. ;)
