how was i even going to forget abt the cute shirts
alice--griffin:
Alice couldn’t help but look at the young man. He had a kind of darkness to him–or at least, something that she perceived as darkness. Either way, she couldn’t help but notice him. When he called her out, though, she averted her eyes and said “Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare… My bad..”
well, she didn’t put up a fight at all. cason wasn’t sure whether to deem that alleviating or pathetic but he was at least in delight to know he no longer had curious eyes sported on him. what even was the point of staring anyway. he found it repugnant at best. “why did you do it?” asked cas. “why the hell did you stare at me?”
robinmarilyn:
“Nothing. I’m practicing.” She hugged the notepad to her chest, shaking her head. “No, it’s mine. I didn’t do anything illegal.” Robin was taught the rules on recording other people’s activity. It was legal not to ask as long as she was not invading them, not drawing them in reaction to something she said or did, and they were clearly of age.
“did i say it was okay to paint me?” demanded cas. he was on the brink of calling her names but he thought it would attract more attention he clearly did not need. he just hated it when people did things without his permission. he wanted to be in control of everything, he wanted to give consent and permittance. he didn’t care if she was a girl, he was pissed. he was still crouching but he lunged slightly trying to catch her book. “give me that.”
milesjsullivan:
If anything, the bewilderment only added to MIles’ amusement. Toying with people had always been one of his favorite activites, a tantalizing way to ease his boredom when he wasn’t intoxicated. “No. I think I just enjoy staring at you and your apple. No big deal.” He replied, a small grew, reaching the edges of his shadowed jaw. “I hope you don’t mind me not stopping.”
“honestly, fuck you.” snapped cas. of course there would be people like this guy around when it was clear he needed to be left alone. some fuckers just couldn’t get the message. maybe they did but still wanted to mess around with him. just like everyone. “if i tell you to stop, then stop.” he couldn’t hold his anger. he knew he should just leave but he was too fed up to leave this one in peace.
nickdnw:
What an odd feeling to be the one asked not to stare—As an actor, that was a request he often spoke to get people off his back especially the ones who claimed to be a fan but were actually just there to take and illegally sell their signed merch. He knew how uncomfortable the staring could be and felt bad for doing the exact same thing though his intent had not been ill. That was quite subjective though and he understood why this stranger would tell him to stop. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make things weird.” He said, offering a charming smile. “I’ll leave you alone.”
“wait.” curiosity got the best of him from the looks of it. sure, he wanted this guy to piss off but there was something about him that pulled cas. like he was someone he had seen before. was he famous? he looked around and saw a few more bystanders taking quick glances at the taller man. maybe having some famous acquaintances could be beneficial. “do i know you? i feel like i’ve seen you before but i can’t place my finger on it.”
detectiverennen:
“Of course.” She paused for a moment after lowering the bag. Elsie knew she wasn’t quite the best at socializing. She was always either too friendly or tended to completely shut down. “For what it’s worth, I really am sorry for making you uncomfortable. ” she did genuinely feel bad for interrupting the young mans morning. There was something that provoked her curiosity about this guy. She even wondered if maybe she had seen him before.
“whatever.” said carson, though deep down he felt like he was being utterly chidish. he had a habit of acting like a brat when he didn’t get what he wanted or when his comfort zone was interrupted. he just wanted peace, now he couldn’t get it anymore. “you ruined the mood.. now i can’t just stay calm.” he said under his breath. “dammit.”
robinmarilyn:
Robin should’ve expected getting caught. No matter how many seats there were between them, she wasn’t safe from him finding out what she was doing. She often went to public places to draw people for practice, occasionally for fun. Her head froze in it’s spot out of fear, her eyes on him but her focus went blurry. “Sorry,” she blurted out, breaking her mold and glancing down. She quickly switched to a new page and started drawing nonsense from memory to cover up.
cas took offense quick. he noticed the drawing book she held and could feel his worry reaching to a new degree. he was a private person and he didn’t enjoy people doing things that involved him without his permission. he had to deal with a lot of similar crap when he was in high school. bullies who liked to take pictures of him then post them for the world to see. “are you... what were you doing.” he almost snarled with his eyes narrowing. “give me that.” he said, demanding.
milesjsullivan:
He rarely went to the park fully sober but he thought he’d try out something new today, one too many amblers around this area had witnessed him in a slight drunken stupor, anyway, and he thought he’d attempt to go easy for now. Eyebrows raising at the accusation, the blond decided he’d just play along with what was unfolding. “Sorry, I was just staring at your apple. Looks delicious, yeah?”
“what the hell?” that was such a strange way to begin a conversation even for his standard, a guy who didn’t interact much with the society. he thought of it as interesting though at least what came out of this stranger’s mouth wasn’t anything mundane. “you hungry or something?” asked cas, raising his eyebrows.
lennoxmcclair:
She snorted at his words, pushing her sunglasses towards the bridge of her nose. Was she taking liberties because her stare was hidden behind the dark shades? Maybe. But he wasn’t the only one she happened to lay her eyes on. “Don’t feel special. Everyone was getting their goods checked out. You’re just the only one who caught me.” With a shrug, she returned to her magazine, though left a smirk.
“there’s only you and me here and you’ve been staring fo about what? ten minutes? don’t act like i’m dumb.” he said in almost a snarl. he didn’t like to be around people in general but it’s worse when they begin to show attitude toward him. why the hell couldn’t they just leave him alone? he took another bite of his apple, face grumpy.
detectiverennen:
It had been a long night at the precinct. More than anything, Elsie wanted air. She stopped by her normal shop and grabbed a few donuts before making her way to the park to catch the last bit of the sunrise. As she walked the path, Elsie noticed a boy sit on the grass with an apple. She couldn’t help but to second guess her own breakfast. When he spoke she realized she had been staring at him. “Sorry about that, I was just thinking about much healthier your breakfast is than mine.” She smiled and held up her bag. “I do have extra if you’re interested.” Elsie wasn’t entirely lying, she did get a free bonus donut from her punch card. “Consider it an apology.”
others didn’t blend well with him no matter how kind they sounded, so when she offered him something to add to his breakfast cas just shook his head in utter distrust. he was already too annoyed to act like he cared for anyone or anything for that matter. it was his usual mood though, it had nothing to do with them. he liked to consider himself a social outcast. “this is nothing. it’s simple so i took it.” said cas, he didn’t know why he even bothered to explain. “save it. just don’t stare at me anymore. okay?”
rileysephtis:
Riley hadn’t slept last night, but that wasn’t really out of the ordinary. He liked to do things at night, when most of the populous was asleep. Having been out most of the night, he chose to sit in a park and observe the world as it woke. He watched people pass, until someone sat in the grass, and started watching them. “You’re more interesting than the trees, so I’m good.”
lowering his apple, cas lifted his eyebrows in curiosity. at least he had an actual answer. granted it was a weird one. “i’m not sure if that’s sarcasm or an actual compliment. if it’s a compliment then you need serious work on your skills.” cas never filtered himself. it had thrown him into many troubles but he didn’t mind it. he took another bite. “are you going to keep staring or what?”
queensdaniel:
Daniel’s eyebrows shot up. He didn’t mean to let his eyes trail too long it was just a force of habit especially after spending such a boring day. Quickly, he started to shake his head. “I actually didn’t mean to. My bad.” He said, scratching the back of his neck. “I guess I just kind of drifted off.”
“well then, drift off someone else, why don’t you?” cas was even more annoyed by now. feeling like he was just wasting his time speaking to someone without an actual purpose. he went to subtitute his apple with one stick of cigarette, placing it between his lips. “it’s uncomfortable when people stare. and very rude.” he added, snobbish.
ryanjamvson:
Ryan could tell he had bothered the male but he was already talking too much to back out, not wanting to look like an idiot by doing so. Ryan was awaiting for the bus to pick up afterall and he didn’t have much to do except occasionally giving his phone a few glances as if someone would actually be interested in checking on him. “Then help me with the other options. I’ve been thinking of getting a dog, maybe a little puppy. That would be cute. Don’t you think?”
sighing and shaking his head, cas knew there was no getting out. he hated conversations but he also hated himself for not being able to pull out of one even when he wanted to. he thought he just hated it when shit became way too complicated. he didn’t have much energy to actually argue. “having a dog is going to take a lot of effort. you need to be sure you can dedicate yourself to the work.” he amitted.
cas decided to go have breakfast outside, a park he used to only pass by but he had seen how empty it was. he thought it would be good for him to have a quiet morning, only disturbed by a few. the twenty two years old boy sat with his legs crossed on the cold grass. he bit on his apple, glancing skyward when he noticed a pair of eyes trained on him. “i can see you staring at me. can you please not stare at me?”
ryanjamvson:
“So I’ve been thinking of getting myself a pet. But not right now. Maybe in about a year or two.” Ryan randomly spoke to the person next to him. The sun was shining so bright and he liked to start up sudden conversations. “I was thinking maybe a dog? A golden retriever? Maybe even a cat or a squirrel. I don’t know yet. I need company. What do you think?”
cas didn’t like being talked to. he just wanted to seek for peace but of course somebody had to come in striking a random conversation he didn’t care about at all. though he thought maybe if he played along they could leave him be at the end? taking a long drag of his smoke, cason shook his head. “i don’t think you’re supposed to keep squirrels. they should stay out there in the nature.” cason replied.
