I love how behind every single window, there is a different person who has a story that we know nothing about and I sometimes forget that my life isn’t the only life in the world and yeah idk

Blue-eyed black lemur (Eulemur flavifrons)
Critically endangered on the IUCN Red List.
Eulemur flavifrons lives in a small area of north-western Madagascar, where it prefers primary tropical forest. It is most active in the morning and evening, although it will also become active at night when nocturnal illumination levels are high. It feeds on a wide variety of foods, including leaves, insects, fruit, and fungi. Groups range in size from 4 to 11 individuals.
Logging, agriculture, and hunting are the main threats to E. flavifrons. It is also sometimes kept as a pet in the area surrounding its range.
Some parts of the range of this species have been protected since 2007, and it is listed under Appendix I of CITES. The Sahamalaza Peninsula where it occurs is also classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

My therapist: Look at nature. Look at flowers. We never walk into our garden and say "Oh wouldn't that flower be so much more pretty if it were taller? Or red instead of pink?" No, we don't. Because nature was created perfect just as it is. And so are we. We are part of nature, we are how we're meant to be, we are perfect just as we are.
