Yeeees, I'm rarely here, but I'm back just to tell about my trip to see Franz Ferdinand in Curitiba (I saw them there and in São Paulo)- I embarrassed myself so hard. This year has been very hard for me for so many reasons, so this trip was a way to relax and enjoy something I love so damn much. It’s a very long text, it have some pictures.
I've already met Alex once, back in 2012 and six years later, I met them again. For this tour, I helped the Brazilian fan club with flags, posters, shirts and I made for the band a zine with some places suggestions to hang in the three cities they played here and some stickers. We (me, this friend from the fan club and some friends) waited for Alex outside the hotel in THE FUCKING COLD for 3 hours and he appeared looking at his phone, like a lost tourist, so he saw us and was like: are you guys waiting for me???

He was super sweet, my friend was like: TALK TO HIM, I was so frozen (cold and nervous) then I gave him a shirt with the fan club design (Alex loved) and the zine, he was: awwn that's sweet! (here's the video a friend recorded - it's the third one).
After that, we went to the concert place (beeeaaautiful place) and then my friend said she put us in a meet and greet with the band. I was carrying some stuff to sign, included School Of Velocity and went.
Alex looked at us like: heeeeeey, hello again!! He stopped at me, called the guys and said: hey, this is the zine girl!!
They were all like: hey! thanks so much, we haven't read yet, but we saw the stickers, amazing work.
So Paul looked at my stuff, saw the Miaoux Miaoux vinyl, poked Julian. He was: OMG! You bought my stuff!!!!
I remembered Julian that I emailed him weeks ago because I bought his Rainbow Bubbles and I got very worried about not arriving. He was: yeah! I remember you, I`m glad you got your CD
and then I start the embarrassment
I said: yeah! but the box was a little bit broken because the postman threw my CD like a frisbee in my house door ~ I demonstrated
Julian laughed and Alex imitated me laughing as well.
Anyway, Julian signed my stuff super happy, he fucked up my signed, Paul made fun of him, he redid apologizing (Julian is SO FUCKING SWEET). After that, the meeting became messy, some people were talking to Alex, my pens were taken away, I lent my phone and had no idea who had it.
At one point I was confused then looked away and saw Paul and Dino staring at me like soo, are you going to do something???
I talked to them, Dino is very shy, I asked him to take a photo with me, he bent down because I`m short, he was looking super serious, then I made the Dino Face, he laughed.
Paul was the next, he was making fun of me because everyone took my pens away, after that he held my phone and when I went to hug him, I PUT MY FUCKING HAND INSIDE HIS JACKET POCKET. he was: HEY, you are putting your hand in my pocket!!! I was OMG I'M SO SORRY!! and I did again. MORE EMBARRASSMENT
After that, he took my phone and did this with Dino, he was in a good mood, thank god.
So I went towards Julian, he was: hey Paula! let's take a photo!
I said: Julian, you are very tall
he: Yeah, I'm aware of that
me; I mean... I'm so short!
he: that's ok, I can crouch down a little bit
HE DID
He hugged me and EVERYONE started to laugh because of the height difference, Alex was laughing so hard, we started to laugh. Actually, Julian is always laughing, did I said he is very sweet? Yeah, he is totally sweet
I took a photo with Bob, said almost nothing because I had enough of embarrassment (just said I made the flag and he said he liked the design).
and at last I asked Alex to remake the 2012 picture with me
I showed him saying " can we do it again? I mean, I look so psycho here", he ended up swiping and saw this meme I made.
He laughed and said
C'mon, you are not looking bad! You are just very happy! lets' do again, come here!
so it was the end, I was gagged with how nice, sweet and tender they were. That's why they are my favourite band and even after 10 years, I still love them
It worth it so much this trip, I was finally able to have some days to disconnect from my problems and do something I love. I just hope they come back sooner to South America so I can do it again
I’m watching prisioner of azkaban and I was explaining to someone about the fidelius charm and now I have a doubt. Pettigrew was the one they used, instead of Sirius. But how does Dumbledore know where the Potters were and still think Sirius was the traitor if Pettigrew must have been the one to tell him the place?
