This questionnaire assumes a very basal knowledge of Beast: The Primordial and serves as an opportunity to elucidate focal points of your Beast character which you might not have considered yet.
What was the Beast's Devouring like? Did she voluntarily face her Horror, or was she initiated by another Begotten without her consent (which can be a traumatizing experience if done prematurely)?
Which atrocious dreams haunted the Beast all her life, and how did she cope with them? In how far did the incipient Devouring affect her nightmares?
Does the Beast consider her Horror to be the manifestation of her spiritual self, or is it regarded more as a roommate inhabiting the space where her mortal soul once resided?
Does the Beast view her Horror with pride and happiness, or is she entirely repulsed by or even afraid of the monster that devoured her soul?
The relationship between a Beast and her Horror colors how she feeds. Is she simply trying to keep the Horror at bay, dreading every time its Hunger calls, or does she revel in the act?
A Beast is instinctively aware of the Horror's level of sustenance. This allows her to chose a Satiety – a high one makes the Horror complacent, it needs to feed less often but requires more refined meals. At maximum Satiety, the Horror slumbers, severing its connection to the Beast until it's woken up again. For a Beast trying to ignore her bestial nature and live a normal life, this might be the level of Satiety to aim for, although it comes with the price of bacchanalian, possibly horrific meals and the moral consequences.
Similarly, a Horror that is only rarely fed goes rampage. Satiety can be gained more easily, albeit less per feeding, and at minimum Satiety the Horror terrorizes the Primordial Dream in search for food. A Beast attempting to entirely ignore her Hunger might face dire consequences and can't silence her Horror, but most likely won't need to confront ethical dilemmas as profound.
A sated Horror is the balanced middle, yet susceptible to Anathemas.
Which Satiety does the Beast want her Horror to be in?
How would an non-involved mortal describe the Horror?
Many Beasts know that their need to feed doesn't make them a bad person, even though the Horror just craves and doesn't care for nuance. Does the Beast rationalize her Hunger, or is she simply enjoying the opportunity to act on her darkest desires? Who does she target when feeding?
A Beast's Hunger is her and her Horror's motivation – feeding is never random. What does the Hunger and the way the Beast feeds say about her? What does it say about her Horror? How does her Legend factor in?
Is your Beast (only) a monster because of her Hunger (and Horror)?
