Along with my other post about Viggo Mortensen, here is another video specifically on his support for Palestine. He really is one of the coolest people out there.
Posting this again!
why does everybody love fili so much? he seems like such a minor character, how can he be your favorite??
WHY SON I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED.
Fíli might seem like a minor character at first, especially next to Kíli. But once you take a closer look at our little prince you’ll see that there’s a lot more to him than meets the eye.
Let’s take a look into my blissful childhood. When I was 8 years old, I read The Hobbit for the first time and I hope no one will judge me for not being able to grasp the deeper meaning or hidden messages from that story back then. I was a mere child!
For a children’s book, The Hobbit has a lot of characters and at that time, I didn’t even remember most of the company. I remembered Thorin, obviously. And Fíli and Kíli. And Fíli became my favorite character, for reasons that are very different from the reasons why I love him today.
So why did I love him so much, back then already? Because he and Kíli were the youngest of the company and while we didn’t really get much background information about them, it was pretty clear that they were always cheerful and in a bright mood. They’re two innocent boys who haven’t seen much of the world and seem excited to go on an adventure. That’s what I liked about them. We have this company of middle-aged grumpy dwarves, who are all constantly complaining and then we have Fíli and Kíli, who are so cheerful that as a kid, you just had to like them.
Another thing I remember I found quite funny was the fact that Fíli got stuck in a barrell full of apples and after being stuck in it for a long time, he said that he would never be able to eat apples again.
This is actually one of Fílis few solo-moments in the book and back then, I thought it was very funny. To be honest, I still think it’s hilarious and I would’ve LOVED to see this in the movie. [sigh]
Another thing we know about Fíli and Kíli in the book is that they’re Thorin’s nephews and that makes them princes, basically. And 8 year old girls just like princes. I don’t even need to explain this.
Even as a child, I was shocked about their deaths. I might have been young but the death of a favorite character is something that hurts, no matter how old you are. But it did make me happy, in a way, that they died defending their uncle. I thought it was beautiful that they must’ve loved him so much that they were willing to die for him.
And those were my thought when I read The Hobbit for the first time. And then I read The Lord of the Rings and I watched the movies and basically I learned a lot more about Middle-Earth and its races. And I think to really understand just how great of a character Fíli is, it’s important to understand his background and the nature of dwarves.
After reading The Hobbit a second time, I suddenly understood everything a lot better and I realized just how much I actually loved Fíli. Because even though at first glance it might seem like we don’t know much about Fíli and Kíli, we can still deduce a lot about their characters.
Fíli is young and he has never seen battle or much of the world. The only life he has ever known is the one in the Blue Mountains, where he and Kíli most likely grew up and spent their childhood and youth. They lost their father, probably at a very young age and I can only assume that Thorin tried to take his place as good as he could. I have no doubt that he loves them like they were his own children, but he was probably very strict about their upbringing and education. He saw not just his nephews, he saw the princes and heirs that they were. With Thorin as his uncle and lector, Fíli grew up burdened with the knowledge and responsibility that he would one day be king. He was also trained to be an excellent warrior, and he did all of this while caring and looking after his younger brother. Not exactly my definition of a blissful and careless childhood.
Fíli has felt the pressure of being second-in-line since early childhood. It’s not his birth right, it’s his duty. Kíli, on the other hand, had a lot less to worry about, being only third-in-line. I guess he also has the „bonus“ of being the youngest.
But when Thorin asks, Fíli agrees to come with him. He agrees to leave behind the only home he’s ever known to go on a dangerous journey to reclaim a homeland and a kingdom that he has never seen, only heard of. The kingdom he would one day rule. He knows that this quest could cost him his life, but he goes anyway, because he’s so loyal to Thorin and the last thing he wants to do is disappoint him.
These are all things I deduced after my second reading, and this is where I would like to bring in movie!Fíli.
So often, people say that Fíli and Kíli have no character in the movies. Especially Fíli, which is probably because Kíli is being favored in the movies and gets more screen time and lines and a freaking love interest.
But Fíli does have some character depth. If you take his background into consideration and add what we know about him from the book, you already have a great deal of character background and developement.
Movie!Fíli is amazing and a great character. It starts with his little speech in Bag End. You can see the prince he is and how devoted he is to the quest and to Thorin.
Okay, he has this one obvious line that makes me crack up every single time, but other than that, he appears responsible and calm and determined to master the challenge.
There’s a scene a little later, when Fíli and Kíli are supposed to be looking after the ponies, but get distracted. (Seriously though, what on earth could be anywhere near that interesting that they don’t notice a TROLL STEALING THEIR PONIES?!)
Bilbo suggests to tell Thorin about the incident, but Fíli says „No, let’s not worry him.“
It’s one sentence. One line, but it holds some great meaning. Fíli doesn’t want Thorin to know that he failed. He doesn’t want to disappoint Thorin and he especially doesn’t want to get his brother in trouble. Fíli doesn’t seem like a coward, I have no doubt that he would have stood up for his mistake, had it not been for the fact that his brother was involved as well. The whole thing doesn’t end well anyway, but that’s not the point. The point is that Fíli would rather handle a disaster like this on his own (Or let Bilbo handle it, for that matter), than let Thorin know that he failed. It says a lot about him and his respect and love for his uncle.
When Thorin is wounded at the end of the first movie, Fíli is one of the three to give up their safe hiding place and run to his uncle’s rescue. He’s an excellent fighter, I daresay the best, along with Thorin and maybe Dwalin. He’s skilled, he knows how to use weapons and he has a lot of them.
Fíli risks his life for Thorin in this scene, as he does more than once. He’s so brave and courageous. He throws himself at every enemy to protect those he loves. As he calls out Thorin’s name after the eagles take them, you can see the concern and worry on his face. His love for Thorin knows no boundaries. Except for one. His brother.
I could write you a 100 page essay about Fíli and Kíli and their amazing relationship. There’s nothing in the world that Fíli loves as much as he loves Kíli. His brother IS his world and he would die and kill for him. They’re never seperated, not once, except by force, when they’re being taken into Thranduil’s dungeons. Fíli is always at his brother’s side and looks out for him and whenever Kíli says something, Fíli looks at him in approval. He’s proud of his baby brother.
It’s heartbreaking, in the first movie, when they’re being seperated by the stone giants. Fíli desperately calls out for Kíli to take his hand. He literally can’t stand the thought of leaving his side.
His brother is always his top priority and the first thing on his mind.
Of course, the most relevant scene is the one in Lake Town. I can’t stress enough how much this shows just how very fucking much Fíli loves his brother. He travelled across the entire country and almost died several times to reach the mountain. And when their destination, Erebor, is within arms reach, Fíli abandones Thorin. Thorin, his father figure, his mentor, his king.
He chooses Kíli over Thorin. Over Erebor, the company, the kingdom he would one day be king of. He gives up the entire quest just to stay with his brother.
And he doesn’t hesitate one second. When it becomes clear that Thorin will not let Kíli come, there’s no question is his mind that he will stay behind as well. It doesn’t even cross his mind to leave his brother. Not once. He belongs with his brother. It’s the only person, the only place he will ever belong to. Because for Fíli, home is wherever his brother is. And that’s where he belongs and where he will stay.
Because Fíli might be a prince, he’s a heir, he’s a warrior. But before any of that, he’s a brother.
Fíli would’ve been an amazing king. A better one than Thorin, I daresay. Something tells me that Fíli would not have succumbed to the gold sickness, his heart is too good, too pure. He doesn’t care about gold. I mean, when they enter the treasury in Erebor, Fíli and Kíli don’t even bother with the gold. They go straight for their instruments instead. They take more pleasure in music than in gold. I CAN’T STRESS THIS ENOUGH.
Fíli is kind, he has a good heart and he does everything to protect his loved ones. He’s willing to make good use of his countless weapons if his people are in danger.
And in the end, he sacrifices himself for Thorin. His uncle’s life is worth more to him than his own. He dies, defending a kingdom that has never been and would never be his. Tragic hero.
He’s burdened with the pressure of being Thorin’s heir, but he handled this pressure very well and doesn’t let that weigh down his good spirit.
He’s brave and sometimes a little reckless. But everything he does, he does out of loyalty and love, never out of greed or wrath or the desire for revenge.
He is strong, but gentle. He is brave, but responsible. He is young, but wise.
He’s a lionheart.
Eleven Pipers Piping
Warnings: Smut
During Christmas time, your kitchen is always a mess.
You figured it out a few years ago, to combine your love of baking and gift-giving, saves you some money, and you (and recievers of your gifts) get to eat yummy treats all season. Logan benefits from this as well, since being with you automatically means he's your test taster. No matter how much he claims he doesn't have a sweet tooth, he's always obliges when you ask him to taste something.
and sometimes he comes and "taste-test" things uninvited.
It's a few days before Christmas and you were working on your sugar cookies. Baking and decorating, piping the cookies with colorful buttercream icing to make cute designs that match the season. You were focused, too focused to notice Logan sneaking in (You banned him a few hours ago from the kitchen after he kept "testing" the cookie dough).
You didn't even realize it until several of your cookies had disappeared from the tray. You looked up, then to your side, where Logan stood happily munching on one of the stolen cookies.
"Tastes good."
You put a hand on your hip, "Didn't I put you in a time-out?"
He stopped mid-chew and quirked a brow. Then continued took another bite of the cookie he thieved. You mock gasp,
"You thief,"
You smeared icing quickly on his nose with the piping bag. He blinked in surprise, finished off the cookie- and made his move.
You should've know than to start something with Logan because he always, always has to finish it. He stole the icing bag from you and preceded to smear the buttercream icing all over you- and all over the kitchen. When you demanded he clean it up, he gleefully accepted and started with you.
An intense make-out session, leading to your clothes being torn off. You're not sure how he managed to get icing in the places he did, but you gladly accepted his tongue licking every inch of your skin clean. Then when he turned you around and bent you over your cookies.
You heard his belt being undone, and the tip of his cock pressed against your weeping hole. His hand came around, two fingers pushed between your lips and pressed onto your tongue. You could taste the sweetness of the icing and began sucking them clean, moaning when he pushed himself inside you.
Just like you lost track of time baking, you lost track of how long he fucked you. He pulled several orgasms out of you (His version of an apology for stealing your cookies) before pulling out and pushing you down to your knees.
"Open up, I got something for you to taste now." He grinned as he stroked himself quickly, moaning as he spills himself over your tongue and lips. He let out a final shuddering moan, squeezing the last bit of himself onto your tongue before tipping his head back in relief.
You licked your lips clean, and he helped you back to your feet. Giving you a quick peck on the lips. "What did you think of that one?"
"Needs a little more sugar," You teased. He pulled you close, giving you another kiss. "Mm, that was nice though…" You pat his chest. "Could you do me a favor?"
"Anything."
"Could you run out and get me some more ingredients? There's no way I'm giving people these cookies now."

A Mermaid's Love
Captain Hook x Mermaid! Reader
A/N: Hello! I felt inspired to write a Captain Hook x reader after binging a lot of fics (lol), So I hope you enjoy!!
Also, feel free to imagine whatever version of Captain Hook for this story. I didn't really think about a specific version in mind for this one so it can be whichever version you imagine :) (I'm just using the gif of the 2003 version cuz look at this man, he looks so cool! )
Story themes: Love, start of a relationship, previously established acquaintance, annoyed pirate, bubbly mermaid, underwater kiss
The Jolly Roger was quiet this time of night.
Everyone was in their beds, hammocks, and makeshift beds, dozing off the rum and meat from dinner. Even Captain Hook himself was in a deep sleep, snoozing the stresses of the day away. The waves slowly moved, creating a relaxing sound of currents rippling…. However, at around 1 in the morning, something changed. Captain Hook stirred from his peaceful sleep. He felt an urge to quench a thirst that had been working up since dinner.
All that salty meat and rum can surely work up a thirst for water.
So, in his nightshirt, nightcap, and slippers, he got out of bed. He pushed aside his covers and grabbed a dimly lit candle to light his way. Quietly opening his door to his quarters, he snuck out. Carefully stepping onto the deck, he yawned while walking towards the kitchen.
That’s when he heard it.
A splash coming from the portside.
Curiosity took hold of him. Hopefully it isn’t that blasted crocodile, he thought as he walked over. Leaning over the edge, he saw no movements in the water besides the currents. Not even fish were splashing out from under the sea. He furrowed his brows in thought, Must’ve been a seagull diving for some dinner. With curiosity satisfied, he stepped away from the wooden side. It wasn’t long before he heard a big splash behind him. Captain Hook looked down to see water spreading along the planks.
The quiet peacefulness of the night was interrupted by a giggle. To him, it sounded like windchimes making a beautiful melody. Like a part of a song you couldn’t forget. He turned and was met with the sight of a woman bathed in moonlight. She was sitting on the edge of the ship. The scales on her (f/c) tail glimmered as it moved. Her (f/c) shell top is lined with pearls of a pastel yellow. The mermaid smiled sweetly at him. “Hello again, Captain Hook.”
Captain stared at awe at the creature in front of him………
Before promptly groaning in annoyance.
“Blast it….. Why did you come back?” The mermaid playfully pouted at him. “Aww Captain…. Is that anyway to greet your ‘special friend’?” Hook just muttered grumpily as he looked away from her. “What is this……. The 5th time you’ve appeared this month? You mermaids must have something better to do than to test me.” “Nope.” The mermaid replied. Hook rolled his eyes before turning around and walking away.
“Hey, where are you going?” she asked. “Away,” he curtly replied. Hook made his way to the kitchen for that drink of freshwater. He was finally able to quench his thirst by gulping down a flask of water. Placing the flask down, he left the kitchen, going back to the Deck. The mermaid was humming to herself as she gazed into the ocean.
At the sight of her side profile, Hook became a bit…. Flustered. But pirates don’t get flustered, they are tough warriors of the sea. Well, they’re also human… so they get embarrassed. Her (e/c) eyes reflected the shine from the water, a calm smile on her face. Needless to say, she looked pretty, and the Captain took notice. He awkwardly coughed in order to gain her attention. She turned her head to him. “Yes, well mermaid, I am utterly exhausted, and I don’t feel like terrorizing any mermaids tonight so consider yourself lucky. Good night then.” Hook then yawned, using his hook hand to cover his mouth. The quiet of the night came back…… for only a moment.
“.......Come with me….”
The mermaid spoke. The pirate froze in his tracks at the soft tone of her voice. “What?” He asked. She smiled softly. “You heard me, why don’t you come with me?”
Hook’s eyes narrowed at her request. “Usually, this is a time where people sleep, mermaid.” She giggled with her tail flicking. “Oh come on, do you really want to go back to bed?” “I truly do, yes.” She frowned at his reply. “I thought pirates loved adventure.” The Captain dragged his hook down his face in an annoyed manner. “Of course we do, but it’s late, and I have a full day of battling annoying children ahead of me.” She groaned.
“Oh come on, I’ll bring you back before the sun comes up. Your crew won’t even notice you’re gone.” The mermaid clasped her hands together to plead. “Pleasseeee?” Captain Hook looked away from her in thought. After a couple of minutes, he sighed. “Fine, if this is what it takes for you to leave me alone.” He blew out his candle and placed it down on the floor. Trudging over to the mermaid, he sat on the edge of the ship. “..... This isn’t some sorry excuse to try to drown me, is it?”
She giggled. “Oh Captain, you’re so silly.” She turned around and dove off the ship into the water below. A splash was made from her impact. Captain Hook grumbled to himself about how he was probably going to catch a cold from the water. With his hand pinching his nose, he jumped into the water. The cold temperature shocked his senses, prompting him to swim back up to the surface. As he swam towards the moonlight, his leg was caught by something. Something strong with a good grip. He looked down and saw something that made his stomach lurch.
The mermaid was pulling him down deeper into the water.
I knew it, I shouldn’t have trusted her! He thought. He flailed his limbs in every direction, trying to swim back to the surface for air, but she wouldn’t let go. With a tough tug, she pulled him down towards her. Just as Hook was preparing to fight her, she pulled him by his shirt collar and kissed him.
The kiss was a shock to his senses.
It was very passionate, the mermaid even wrapped her arms around him. In the freezing temperature of the water, her embrace warmed him completely and thoroughly. In fact, he even let his guard down a bit as he melted into her. When was the last time the Captain had been kissed? And was the last time as passionate as this? He couldn’t tell you. But, as he closed his eyes, sealing his “doom”, something else happened.
The mermaid’s lips blew a bubble, one that completely encased Hook’s head. She pulled away from him and smiled as he still held his breath. The Captain opened his eyes to see the bubble around him. He let out a gasp as he breathed in the air now readily available to him. The mermaid giggled once again, and Hook sent her a mean glare.
“You mermaids are quite annoying.” She swam around him playfully. “And you pirates are very serious.” As Hook opened his mouth to retaliate, the mermaid grabbed his arm, pulling him as she swam towards the Mermaids grotto. She swam around the beautiful multicolored coral reefs, while a squid had latched itself to Hook’s face. As the pair swam through the grotto, the mermaid made sure they were careful not to draw attention while all the other mermaids slept. Hook ripped off the squid attached to his face, then took in the scenery of the grotto underwater.
As they continued to swim, the familiarity of the grotto had shifted into unfamiliar territory. The mermaid led him to a secluded cave that had a small beach on the inside. The pair both breached to the surface. The bubble popped off of Hook’s head, him crawling onto the sand and flopping on his back. He breathed in the fresh sea air. The mermaid flopped onto the sand and used her arms to crawl around the cave. She crawled deeper into the cave, seemingly looking for something. Hook’s view of the cave ceiling was covered as a shirt and pants were thrown onto his face. “You should change before you get sick.” The mermaid commented as she crawled herself back into the water.
Hook stood up from the shore and grabbed the clothing while grumbling. He walked deeper into the cave, finding a secluded space to change while the mermaid was swimming. He left his wet clothes, slippers, and hat in the cave. Now he was wearing a white long sleeve shirt and brown pants. He walked back to the shore of the beach and sat on the sand, just far enough away from the water reaching onto the beach.
The mermaid popped her head up from the water, making her way to the pirate. She crawled herself back onto the beach and sat right next to Hook. “Where did you even get these clothes, mermaid?” he asked. She looked at the water crashing onto the shore. “Sometimes things wash up onto the shores, No one claims it so finders keepers.” The Captain gave a gruff “hmph” to her.
“Why did you want me to come with you, Besides possibly getting me sick? Got some more questions about pirates? I’ve told you enough that should satisfy anyone’s curiosity.” She shrugged as she kept staring at the water. The silence from her was unusual to say the least, after all, she and the Captain have been talking for months. She was the one who almost always prompted their talks. “Hmm… for once the chatty mermaid has nothing to say huh?”
He turned his head to look at her. The sight of her caught him off guard, her cheeks had darkened and she was trying to avoid his gaze. “..... I just wanted us to talk more…. It’s not enough anymore…. Every visit seems to get shorter and shorter.” His brows furrowed at her words. “That’s all?” he asked. Her voice quieted to a whisper. “The time we’ve spent….. Goodness knows…. Why does this feel so hard?” He frowned at her.“Speak clearly mermaid, I haven't the foggiest idea of what you’re trying to say.” She took in a deep breath before turning her body to look at the Captain.
Her eyes held a determined fire in them. “Do…. you remember what I said the first time we met?” “Which thing? You were very talky that night.” She scooted herself a bit closer to him. “You know…. About why I wanted to talk to you…” His eyes looked away from her as he thought, only returning to her gaze as he came up with an idea. “... You fascinate me?” His tone was questioning and curious. The mermaid frowned. “Noooo… you’re saying it wrong..” She scooted herself even closer to him as she breathed in and breathed out once again. Her gaze went to his shirt, specifically where his heart was. She took her pointer finger from her right hand and poked his chest.
“ You.. fascinate me.”
His heart was beating out of his chest. Even though he did see her as a nuisance, he became fond of her through their frequent meetings. Somedays, he anxiously waited until nighttime so that he could see her again. “Do you care for me?” he softly asked. She looked back up to him and smiled. “I think you know the answer, but please don’t make me say it.” She chuckled to herself. “My heart can barely handle this.”
The realization hit him like a freight train. Sure, he had become attracted to the beautiful mermaid who sought him out, but he never thought she would reciprocate. Mermaids are fickle, most of them hate pirates, and they do nothing but hang out in the grotto all day. They move on from one fascinating thing to the next. He figured he should just enjoy their time together before she found the next fascinating thing to move onto. His right hand inched itself to her left, placing it on top of hers. She blinked and looked down at their hands. His hand was so warm, it was a welcome warmth.
“I’m reminded of a quote.” Hook softly expressed, looking down at their hands. She looked back at him, his gentle smile causing his mustache to lift ever so slightly.
"If a man writes a couple of poems to a woman, he is in love with that woman. If a man writes a thousand poems to a woman, he is in love with poetry."
His hand clasped hers, interweaving their fingers together.
“In this case,
If a mermaid seeks out a pirate a couple of times, she is in love with pirates. But, if she seeks him out for 3 months straight, she is in love with the pirate.”
He looked back up to her, leaning towards her face. She parted her lips as she watched him come closer. He paused a short distance from her, as if waiting for approval. She squeezed his hand and he finally leaned in. The kiss was sweet, a shared expression of their built-up emotions. The moonlight from the cave opening hit them both, their shadows dancing on the cave wall, imitating every move of their lips. When they finally parted, both looked at each other with dreamy eyes.
After gazing into each other's eyes for a while, the two started to talk. It was unlike any of their talks from before. Not just answering questions about pirates or mermaids, but they really talked. About their lives, their hopes, their dreams, their aspirations, and their love for each other. The talk lasted so long, that when the mermaid woke up early the next morning. She couldn't pinpoint when the two had fallen asleep.
She opened her eyes, feeling something wrapped around her waist. Looking to her left, she was met with the sight of a sleeping Captain Hook curled against her. She lifted herself up using her arms and looked down to see his arm wrapped around her. The mermaid looked at his face and smiled. He looked so peaceful. She admired him as she watched the rise and fall of his chest. Putting all her weight on her left arm, she lifted up her right to brush some hair off of his face.
“Sleepy darling.” she whispered as she warmly smiled. An eye popped open and he smiled at her. The mermaid's face darkened in embarrassment as her smile went into a frown. “....You weren’t supposed to hear that.” He smirked at her expression. “But I did.” He used his arms to lift himself up. “ It's a bit soon to start calling me ‘darling’ isn’t it?” The mermaid laughed in embarrassment. “I said you weren’t meant to hear that.” The two smiled at each other until the moment was interrupted by a shrill voice. “ (Y/NNN)!! Don’t tell me you’re in your cave again!!!” The mermaid looked from Hook to the cave opening. “Oh no.” she whispered under her breath.
Clearing her throat, she spoke out to the voice. “Yeah, I’m in here again Marina! I’ll come out in a bit!” The voice spoke back. “Okay but be quick! Peter Pan is coming to visit today!!” The mermaid waited until she heard a splash then turned back to Hook. “I wasn’t supposed to keep you here this long! We’ve gotta get you out of here before the others find out.” She turned around and crawled into the water, with Hook following close behind.
Once completely submerged, the mermaid blew a bubble with her mouth, taking it and placing it on the pirate's head. She then grabbed him and quickly swam to the grotto. Carefully, the pair swam around the rocks in the grotto, not trying to get any attention from the mermaids above. Getting to the entrance of the grotto, she darted the both of them to his ship. Back to portside, the two of them came up to the surface, Hook catching his breath.
“How am I supposed to get back up there?” Hook asked as he looked at her. She awkwardly smiled, taking Hook in her hold. Using all her arm strength, she throws him up onto the ship. He falls down onto the deck, groaning from the impact when the mermaid landed on top of him. Hook gave an “oof” at her impact. She awkwardly smiled at him again. “Sorry, are you okay?” Hook sat up more. “I’ll be fine, that was just surprising.” He looked around the ship. “It must still be early, the crew isn’t fooling around.”
The mermaid nodded as she looked around in a panic. Hook’s eyes landed back on her and they softened at her concern. “..... (Y/N)... that’s your name?” At the mention of her name, she froze, then looked back at him. “Yeah….” Hook nodded as he used his hand to softly stroke her chin. “......Mine’s James..” Her eyes brightened in curiosity. “James? Hm, James.. I like the sound of that.”
“And I like (Y/N).... it’s beautiful..” She smiled as she grabbed his wrist with her left hand. (Y/N) became a bit dazed from gazing at the pirate up close. He was always so rough and gruff, but his gentler side soothed her. “......Am I correct to assume that you didn’t need to kiss me to blow me an air bubble?” he teasingly asked. (Y/N) snapped out of her daze at the question. “.....it made things easier..” she shyly responded. He chuckled in amusement.
“You just wanted a kiss from me.” Her smile faded as she frowned playfully at him. “Maybe… but I didn’t hear any complaints.” “ I was underwater and I couldn’t breathe.” Her smile returned. “Yeah, but you still kissed back.” James teasingly rolled his eyes. “Next time, save your kisses for when I’m not drowning.” (Y/N) playfully narrowed her eyes at him. “Well if I had to do it again, I would do it over, and over, and over….” Her words quieted gradually as she leaned into his face. He parted his lips as he leaned closer to her. Their lips just brushing against each other when a voice cut through.
“Captain! Where are you? Cap’n!!!” Smee yelled.
Hook rolled his eyes as he turned his head in the direction of the voice. “Codhead always has to ruin my moment.” (Y/N) giggled at him. He turned back to her and smiled. “Let’s get you back in the water.” Hook stood up from the floor and reached down to carry her. His hand went under her back while his hook hand went under her tail. He walked back to the edge of the ship. Hook gave her a soft smile.“Goodbye for now my dear.” She wrapped her arms around his neck to give him a quick hug. Pulling away she smiled. “Goodbye for now James.” He let go of her and she dived into the water.
Only time will tell when their next meeting will be, but this for sure wasn’t their last.

The Forman household was empty, which was very rare. Red and Kitty were at work, Hyde was at the record shop, and the rest of the gang had their own things to do.
So the place was empty and quiet, except for Eric’s bedroom, where he lay in bed with his girlfriend on top of him while music played on the radio.
That 70's Show Drabble request: It's your and your twin brother Eric's 16th birthday, kitty and red usually remember but they forget yours this year, your boyfriend Hyde notices and gives you one of the best birthdays ever, including you two both having sex for the first time. Hyde also does a little cussing at red And kitty for forgetting their youngest daughter's special day.
'ello my love, always nice to see you around 😁
Afraid I might have gone a little off the brief for this one, but hopefully it still hits at least most of what you wanted 💜
I have never seen anything like this

Little Prince of the forest, whom does not yet know the sorrow this world may bring, May you forever be cradled by the heart of a vigorous spring. Though there is no dimming the shadow beyond, there is hope that you might find joy within these woodland walls. You are loved more than you know, for a green leaf is a proud reflection of the tree from which it falls
Legolas meaning "Green Leaf"
Thranduil meaning "Vigorous Spring"
Oh how I love incorporating the etymology of names into character art, it brings me much joy. I was also motivated to draw some Thranduil and a Little Legolas with some forest imagery. Really brought out the illustrator in me composition-wise.
We really need some more soft family content from these two, I genuinely believe that after all Thranduil experienced in his early life, and the loss of his own father, that he would vow to care for and make sure his son had a good life.
Alt. Version Below!
Spin the wheel. That's who's trying to kill you.
Spin the wheel again. That’s who’s trying to protect you.
(If you have zero idea about the name you got, spin until you see someone you recognize.)
Are you safe?
Absolutely not. I'm dead. 100% dead.
I might stay alive, but it'll be a really close thing.
I'll take some hits, for certain, but I should be okay in the end.
A few attacks might get through, but nothing concerning.
The attacker might be able to get in one lucky hit. If that.
I am the opposite of worried. I'm 100% safe.
…Look. I've tried picturing this. But I honestly don't know how to answer.
(Six months ago, I did a version of this poll with about five hundred options on the spinner wheel. For this one, I more than doubled it.)
