FANG has 16 unused audio files that may come up in the future. At the rate it’s going, we may see stories involving npc FANG Fei in a span of several updates, perhaps until the end of the game's lifespan.
The videos below have all 26 voice lines, both in English and Japanese. Skip to 0:39 to listen to them.
I'll say that the unused audio files sounded more interesting than the ones that have been used in the AKI and Bison updates. That could mean that the story will become more exciting. I don't know the context of those audio clips, but I have been intrigued by them since I dug them up back in October 2023. I am anxious on what would happen, but at the same time looking forward to what may come in these future SF6 stories.

My first edit on Tiktok! I'm still pretty new, but it was fun picking up another hobby. I'm not gonna lie, this was so hard to make, so props to all the Capcut editors out there bc I blanked out so many times making this! This song used to be fire, but I've listened to it so much it fried my eardrums. :(
idk if I'm going to make more, but I might revisit this again later on.
I saw some confusion about Ed's age cuz he said he was 12-13 in World Tour for SF6, so, with the use of the timeline of events from the Street Fighter Wiki and some paraphrasing from the repost of the post I saw this on made by user @rosewood-multifandom-writer, I wanted to shed some light on it (originally post was made by @corokoro ).
So, Ed is estimated to be around 10 when he's found by Balrog in Street Fighter 4, as was pointed out by rosewood. The timeline shows that, between 4 and 6, roughly 12-14 years pass. From reading the screenshot I saw coupled with the timeline information, it's most likely that Ed saying he's 12-13 is because he'd have no way of knowing his age while he was an experiment, so those 12-13 years post-rescue are the only ones he'd be able to keep track of.
For other info, check out the further lore reasoning stuff relating to Ed specifically in the repost made by @rosewood-multifandom-writer
I need someone to do a video essay-length deep dive into how 75% of the BG3 fandom fell so hard for Astarion's manipulative seductor act that they believe that's his actual personality. This man has to practice his lines and still fumbles them constantly. He flat-out says it's all a front because he believes his sex appeal is the only reason anyone would keep him around, which is tragic. When he drops the act, he becomes this kind of silly man rediscovering what it means to be himself, and what it means to both love and be loved. He says "I'm all pointy ears, love." while turning his head to show off those pointy ears. Let him be silly, let him be awkward! It's so much more authentic then him being a walking innuendo.
He has a mid charisma stat with a bonus for deception and rolled a nat 20 on all y'all.
... so what if i told you that chrys gets not one, but TWO canon love interests? cause im a clown 😭
it wasnt until after the events of the campaign that they began staying in contact (from chrys wanting to help ed with saving other shadaloo victims), but their "info swaps" more or less turn to just meeting up for "no reason." truthfully they are not good for each other and dont work out but thats the fun part :P
Imagine you have a bag of assorted jellybeans you got from a candy store and you see a ton of black jelly beans. No one likes those. Well… except maybe Ed.
Ed will see you making a face after you eat a black jelly bean and he’ll walk up, like a cat after its owner opens up a can of tuna.
You give Ed the bag and afterwards, your bag is black jelly bean free and you get a guy whose inner child is crying happy tears at free jellybeans of his favorite flavor.
there's a store chain called it'sugar that has a store in where metro city would be, and you can put like a custom amount of different candies and stuff from different containers
i just now imagine ed walking out of the store with a bag of pure black licorice jelly beans and actual black licorice, like the bag is almost filled to the brim and he's just so happy
twitter was having a shit fit earlier when the SGF happened and the s2 cast was revealed and like
i understand part of the rage at two crossovers and bison already being back, people wanted the big faves to come back like the sf3 cast in general, cody, menat, etc
but think of the LORE, gang, the POTENTIAL
and also when it comes to growing rosters and what characters get in, you gotta get used to the odd choices and potential disappointment, this is why the smash dlcs still worked even with characters like piranha plant and min-min, so i was kinda surprised by all the anger on twitter, and it was genuinely hurting my own hype because yeah i didn't think bison should've been added this early either, but since he is here now anyways, it's time to deep analyze on what they could do with this, because they could prove JP to be the bigger bad if they play their cards right
anyways guess im lurking on tumblr for a bit, yall are stuck with me now KFHSLFND
If y'all are really gonna go "Oh Shadaloo is so cool Shadaloo is so great" then you better be showing respect to my fella Balrog too.
Risking it all for a kid he found and even managing to break away from Shadaloo and take money by giving away their secrets, even though he would have had a more luxurious life if he just stayed loyal to the cause.
Since this has been stewing in my head for awhile and because I want to be the change I want to see in the world. Realistically, did any of us really care about Balrog before he was given Ed, another pasty white boy who is extremely popular almost entirely off of bad boy aesthetics and his own whiteness?
Because SF's track record with him was already starting at rock bottom. Their only black character until Birdie and Dudley and their only black AMERICAN character until the literal release of Kimberly. And don't fucking say "oh Mike was around in the first SF--" because that motherfucker had no actual presence in any of the games he was literally not playable. Don't quote that shit back to me I was crawling the SF Wiki like they were the Paris catacombs.
Balrog was their first playable and recognizable black man and he was characterized as a dumb brute who only cares about money, women, and drinking. A very dangerous look if he was made today and equally as distasteful in 1990. Let's not pretend this was ever excusable.
Balrog and Ed's relationship, while a symptom of another problem (a character of color only being given attention to uplift a white character, especially one that was introduced that very same game), I largely remain tolerant of it because Ed is actually likeable. He is working to help the victims of Shadaloo’s kidnapping and experiments and he was only given that chance because Balrog practically took him in. He is a character with actual purpose in the narrative and a strong motive. If Balrog was wasted to uplift a character that was ultimately filler or straight up sucked, his treatment by the writers the past couple of decades would be outright inexcusable.
It also helps that while a lot of members with Shadaloo are talked about with absolute contempt (minus F.A.N.G because A.K.I. is so devoted to him she would literally never say a bad thing about him), Balrog is greatly admired by Ed. Willingly, not out of obligation.
Ed is happy when he is given a magazine of Balrog when he was starting out in the professional scene. He admits Balrog was rough to be around but wasn't cruel. Ed says that Balrog saw him as a person and not someone to just dispose of when he got sick of taking care of him. It taught Ed to view others as equals and not as things to discard or take advantage of.
In fact, from Ed's story mode, Balrog didn't want to split from Ed. However, being the emotionally compromised person he was raised to become, Balrog told Ed to get lost (while not even looking him in the eyes and his delivery sounds like he was tearing up). He let Ed go and Ed became a capable and strong person because he was raised by someone equally strong.
Balrog risked becoming a traitor, the whole time after he took in Ed. The fact that they both left only after the base got blown up was literally because Balrog wanted to ensure to that their exit would be safe. This was even after he made a lot of money giving out information of Operation C.H.A.I.N.S to Urien. Ed frequently asks why they don't just leave and Balrog has his excuses but it's very clear he wants it to be when he doesn't have to worry about Shadaloo hunting them down. Because Shadaloo is like the cartel, they will find you and record your painful, slow death on like Facebook Live or something.
"Oh but the other members faced harships too why is Balrog so important?"
Because Balrog was canonically stated to be living in poverty. In America.
It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots on why a black man being poor in a country that is deeply fucking racist might be a little fucked up to play the suffering Olympics with.
Especially since one of the people most people dick ride is a white European man who was raised within upper society. Abuse is bad, yes, but Vega is a serial killer who wants to kill ugly people without restraint. Balrog just wants money and may have killed a person or two. They are not saints but one is infinitely worse than the other.
Balrog became a boxer from constant enough street fights that he was able to become a professional boxer. He got out of being poor because he had to sell himself as entertainment.
It could explain why he cares about money and all this other stuff but that's largely speculation because Balrog was pretty one dimensional until SFV. His relationship to Ed and what that reveals about him as a person is the first time he's ever gotten another dimension to his character.
How despite his faults, his temptations for money and power, the fact he didn't fuck up completely while raising Ed - that says a fucking lot about him.
"Oh but it's hard to write for him or he isn't a nuanced as [insert equally shallow character here]"
Because you only care about characters you can ship with. Don't you fucking look into my eyes and say you can't write a romance with him while y'all salivate over the trope of the "bodyguard x character they are tasked to protect"
Balrog is essentially a bodyguard for hire, you can literally write him in any situation that involves being paid for a service and he starts to experience real kindness and not just fearful worship because of who he works for. Maybe he runs into Ed again and the two reconnect. If that art of him and the other Neo Shadaloo members is anything to go by, he would probably fit right in with them. That could be interesting. Have him as someone who only ever thought himself out of having to rely on solely on himself for years taking a stand against his former employer because he finally has a family of his own that he wants to protect.
They are rough around the edges, they're rude and damaged and not all okay, but their his family.
