Thank you for the response to the ask, and don’t worry about not responding right away! I totally get what you mean. I look back as well and think about how I’ve acted and realize why my friendships all probably fade away. That’s what makes me too nervous to reconnect even if I want to, and why I stick to sending anonymous asks every so often ahah :o but I hope you’re doing well

Aw, don't let that stop you! If you think there is a good chance of reconnecting with someone, I say take it. If it doesn't work out then at least you've tried and you won't regret not trying later on in life. I know I said in the last ask that people change, but think about it this way too. There's a chance that both persons changed and that you could still get along. It'd be like meeting someone totally new! (In my case anyways lol) Oof, rant over now. I wonder why it is hard to reconnect with old friends that use to be so close?

I personally think it’s the fear of how much each person has changed. And I know from personal experience that I look back and regret how I acted and realized that, at the time of losing some of my friends, my entire personality was one big act. BUT that is not me saying to not reconnect with someone you want and think you can form a connection with again (If that’s why you’re asking, I am 100% assuming here rip). But yeah, I think it’s fear of change, imo :]
