NEW LOCAL GROCER/MARKET IN OAK CLIFF!! Yesterday @olmooakcliff had their grand opening and judging from their stories it was quite the place to be 🎉 I am usually not one for large crowds so I decided to come in today and wowowowow I cannot say enough good things about this place! They have a variety of staples from local vendors, some big name brands, and have put a conscious effort into vegan products! 💚 Including a collab w @plantapotositacos for the weekend hot menu of which I got an order (okay two orders) of the asada fries. You can taste the love put into each element and every bite bursts w flavor. On a side note, the vibes and aesthetics are immaculate. Everything from the store’s front, the eating area, and even the tote bags (hello zipper and back pocket??) are well thought out and made me feel cooler just by being there. Make sure you check them out! Glass noodles/vermicelli/thin glass noodles whatever you call them, I LOVE them. And nobody does it better than @bangkokcityrestaurant . I don’t get to eat here as often since we moved to Oak Cliff, but we do try to still make it a regular stop. Highly recommend this staple if you’re in Old East Dallas! I went home for a few days, there was good company and food. Puffy taco night kicked it off, followed by an exquisite breakfast with mimosas, and then the holiday dinner who’s memory lives on an entire 365 days until I get to have it again.
