re: zooxy, I went and backread in the discord expecting something scandalous and nope, just the usual people jumping to the worst possible assumptions and dogpiling. Zooxy had like 5 different people all scolding them long after they corrected themselves, insisting that their tone was "mean" or whatever (it wasn't lol) and accusing them of making fun of trans people ?! you guys love putting words in people's mouths and then using their consternation as an excuse to say they're toxic

Introducing Plusvolk!

Hello!

This is Plusvolk, a blog meant to spread positive and encouraging comments surrounding Dappervolk.

As a lot of you are aware, there are plenty of drama or (for the most part) negatively-geared confession blogs that people often tend to turn to rid themselves of some frustrations.

To counterbalance that, we decided to go ahead and create a space for people to send asks and submissions that display their thoughts surrounding the more optimistic aspects of the site!

This includes but is not limited to:

Excitement towards new, upcoming features.

Wanting to compliment a specific user in the Dappervolk community (were they kind? Helpful? Do you think their artwork is gorgeous but wish to remain anonymous while saying so?)

Feelings of admiration or appreciation towards aspects of the site or the community.

Hints and interesting discoveries (rewards you’ve got from a feature that isn’t known yet, small secrets, guides, etc).

Personal achievements you’re proud of.

We hope that this can be a good outlet for people wishing to express these type of thoughts and spread good vibes within the community and that this will also further inspire the staff members of the website that their work and efforts are acknowledged and appreciated.

i’ve been playing dappervolk! i knew quisling was going to knock it out of the park with the pet art and yet i am still blown away by how wonderful and charming they are… had to draw sum icons… i’ve missed doing tiny critters like this >:0

You can be a nonbinary lesbian and headcanon Fantasia as one, but at the same time please realise that you have it better than others. It’s uncomfortable seeing a character we identify with constantly pushed into a gendered box. And you know what? This discourse is just reminding me once again that people, even within our own community, still think our feelings and dysphoria matter none.
