what's in between
You can break down human first names in Pokemon into four distinct categories:
Normal modern real-life name (Sabrina, Larry, Grant, etc.)
Not quite a modern real-life name but sounds like it could be (Bede, Elesa, Arven, etc.)
Literally just a color (Red, Blue, Silver, etc.)
Hilbert (Hilbert)
• Sordward and Shielbert
• N (Natural harmonia gropius)

big fan of when a character is dead and the narrative frames them in a very angelic, soft, gentle manner but then it turns out not only are they still alive (plot twist) but theyre alive in the most gruesome and horrific way. your loving kind mentor who motivates you to fight in their memory came back wrong and theres blood and dirt under their fingernails from clawing they way out of the grave.

human i remeber you're non binary and thats like cool and shit
show the world your pronouns
My headcanon is that Miis are a sort of parasitic/symbiotic species of shapeshifters that copy likenesses from the minds of humans to gain shelter, food and the chance to safely reproduce. They've in many ways domesticated themselves and do poorly in the wild.
stop fucking using the word psychotic to describe bad behaviour and violence already god fucking damn it
oh my god i’m so tired psychotic does not mean violent it does not mean angry or erratic. it refers to a person suffering from psychosis, a loss of touch with reality that includes hallucinations and/or delusions. psychotic people are not inherently violent and y'all need to understand how much stigma you create when you again and again incorrectly use the word psychotic without even thinking about it
would appreciate if non-psychotic people could reblog this
Hey. Hey nonpsychotic moots. You know what to do
Thank you…

Deltarune equipables: an analysis/theory.
(Why Winglade is the key to understanding transformation.)
I’ve noticed a pattern with the lightners’ weapons beside the “Kris has pencils and Susie has hair things- and a ladle.”
To start, a lightner’s perception of objects makes them change accordingly in the dark world. Hence why TV world is so much more personal. It’s Kris’s fountain, so Kris’s perception of the darkners changed them in that way.
So if we apply this logic to chapter 4, and what we know about Susie, we can figure out more about how a perception can truly affect a darkner.
From the sanctuary, we learn that the Wicabels are petrified for being too “fun.”
And from this, we can estimate that-
1. The church’s bells were put away because they were “fun”.
2. As such, they don’t belong in the first dark world.
3. The knight knows about the bells being put away.
But then… in the next dark world…
They’re fightable. They’re free. Because Susie doesn’t know about that. She doesn’t know about the bells being put away. And she wouldn’t have any reason to think they don’t belong, heck, if they weren’t put away, she would have messed with them too.
What else appears in both dark worlds… but has different forms.
But… why?
Well, quill pens- the winglade’s lightner form- are kind of complicated to use. Actual quill pens require a specific angle to write with and a certain writing style to not smudge the ink, often also needing a writing table with the same angle to let things come out properly... Something an author would have, but unless you’re more formal with writing, you’d probably not know how to use them.
Additionally, most of the knight candidates are likely to actually know calligraphy. Carol, Rudy, and Asgore are older. It’s a skill they might have learned over time. And Dess? She’s Carol’s daughter. Carol would definitely have made her learn it at some point.
But unequivocally, there’s a character who never would have learned calligraphy. Someone whose handwriting is messier, who never got the chance to learn. Susie.
And in Susie’s dark world, Susie’s perception, the quill pen turns from a weapon to a darkner.
Aligning this with other weapons and darkners and even equipment, we see a pattern.
Weapons are things seen as tools.
Susie can’t use a quill pen. So in her dark world, it’s not a weapon. It’s not usable. It’s a thing, not a tool. The knight can.
Pencils. Erasers. Brushes. Razors. Hell, even the ladle (AbsorbAxe). They’re tools, utensils.
What else can this mean…?
Well, if weapons are tools, I wonder what a REAL weapon could do…

Oughhh the distance between two… oughhhhhh that’s what that song means…
