My piece for @squidbeatszine , a charity zine where each artist was assigned 1 song from the Splatoon 1+2 soundtrack to illustrate! My song was…..well… “I Am Octavio” . I almost forgot what a nightmare the Splat1 DJ Octavio crown is.

A preview of what I’m currently working on!

If all goes well, this’ll be the beginning of a multi-part comic focused on DJ Octavio and his past. I’ll be posting in batches of 3-4 pages at a time, with the first batch coming up in a day or two, so keep an eye out!

I have more time to devote to comics this month, so part 2 should be up within a week! My plan is to resolve some things in the present-day Splatoon world, before going into pre-Great Turf War territory.

Hey everyone! Some announcements about my Splatoon comic! 

First, “Reconnect” is the name of the chapter, not the whole comic, but I realized I made that super confusing lol. The entire project is called “Dissonant Melody” and the little title cards will now reflect this!

Second, I’ll still be posting pages on Tumblr, but I’ll be curating and linking a Tapas archive as well (You can find it here: https://tapas.io/series/DM )

Lastly, I made a KoFi ( http://ko-fi.com/amyliobat )!  I draw this comic simply because I Love These Cephalopod Children, but any support would mean a lot! The next update is dropping TOMORROW so thank you for your patience ~
