This was it, he could taste it, he could feel it, a direction, and a good one too! At least as far as he could fathom. Well, just when he thought his luck had run out, look at that! This plan was idiot proof. Theoretically. Well, it didn’t take a genius to know whatever was going on with the chalky man involved him easily being able to crush anyone who might stand up to him. The… club? Bar? Hell if he knew what to call it… smelled of sweat and booze with a faint layer of piss, foul looking patrons all having a heck of a good time, by the looks of things, but even as he waited for this Doctor to come patch up his accomplice, his attention was glued to the ring. Cherry gave a cackle as he pulled away from the ropes a bit too slow as the bodies grappling within lurched against them.

He decided to downgrade his assessment of the woman from likable to indifferent, indignantly brushing off his jacket as though the startle was nothing.

Grundy’s attention, meanwhile, nervously swayed around him. Too many bodies. Lots of people. Lots of people looking at him. He didn’t like it. He had shuffled closer to his Friend with the intent on picking him up and sidling out before more attention was drawn to him when Ed suddenly clapped a hand on his shoulder. “That’s gonna’ be you, Big Guy!” He pointed. “That’s how we’ll do it! Grundy Smash, right? Right after this Doc patches you up.”

Lee had just finished dousing alcohol over a man’s busted face when she was called on. She had spent a few months at Cherry’s at the doctor and, frankly, the man’s black eyes and bloody lip had become common injuries for her to treat at the fight club. It was to be expected, after all, when grown men were boxing on each other improperly.

“What is it?”

She called back, sounding annoyed as she cleaned the man’s face up. There wasn’t much else she could do expect give him some painkillers and send him back out for round two. If he was dumb enough to get back in the ring, it wasn’t her problem.

“We gotta couple newbies need stitchin’ up before throwing them in the ring. Got a sec?”

Dropping her bloodied rag on the bar, she stood and followed in the direction of where these amateurs were. At the sight of them, her jaw nearly dropped.

“Well, it’s pretty obvious to me which one of you is gonna be in the ring.”

Hands on her hips, she stared Edward Nygma down before giving a very long glance at who looked like he might have been Butch Gilzean once upon a time.
