Recent photos from tench rescue training at the landfill to Mid-Michigan falling into winter
Each year, a couple hundred santas descend upon Midland to learn trade secrets at the world’s oldest santa school -- the Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School. Lessons include anything from makeup tutorials to reindeer viewings to learning the what’s in style at Toys R Us.
P.S. I learned that reindeer are real.
From chasing the Northern Lights to goose hunting and fall sports
With the 100 year anniversary of NPS, Brittney headed to Sleeping Bear and I went to Pictured Rocks -- two of Michigan’s National Lakeshores.
(And I even saw my first bear. His name was Lincoln.)
