This is for @baisleyarts who is like the god of character design. A while ago, I made a comment that I couldn’t do their god or seiðr AU justice, and they said to give it a shot and that I just might surprise myself.
Well, they were talking about drawing, which is not my cup of tea, but it was still pretty sweet, so I figured hey. Why the heck not? So, this is for you! And I’ve also fallen more in love with the seiðr and may or may not have done a worrying amount of research on Norse magic and fleshed out this AU a bit too much. Ah, well. C’est la vie!

Welp, I'm doomed then.
It occurred to me that I haven’t done much dadcup for the canon babies… so here’s a first-time daddy!hiccup with baby Zeph.
I also never got my longhaired!Hiccup so I’ve now headcanoned that between his wedding and his second child, Hiccup grew out his hair. A young chief, a young husband, a young father… he just let it grow. He started to get his shit together by the time Finky came around, so he cut it again.

Hiccup tried to straighten his mind out just a bit, needing to be safe to drive. He raced over to Astrid’s place and let himself in - he had a key, though he had almost never actually used it before. He held out hope that it was something bad but not terrible - maybe she’d fallen and hadn’t been able to get help? It wouldn’t have been nice to know she’d been that way all night and all day, but at least he would know where she was…

I’m seeing so many people now saying that Johnny and Amber were in a mutually abusive relationship. I’m gonna give y’all the benefit of doubt and say that you’re probably just not properly informed on this case. Listen to the 1hr audio. Read the court documents. Amber admitted to abusing Johnny multiple times. Johnny only admitted to throwing something at her one time when she threw cans at him, and pushing her one other time when she was hitting him. This is self defence.
This is not including the fact that abuse is more than physical, and in that audio tape we see examples of her emotional abuse. She gets angry at him and accuses him of not caring about her or their marriage because he walks away when she’s yelling or gets violent. She calls him a coward and mocks him for getting someone else involved when she attacked him.
After the allegations came out, her parents texted him and told him they loved him and missed him (her mother even asked to adopt him). They didn’t dispute his denial of her accusations or his claims that she abused him. In fact, they seemed to comfort him and said that the lawyers made her come up with those allegations.
Look, there’s mountains of evidence against her. Calling it mutual is simply cheapening the abuse that Johnny Depp suffered. It also sends out a terrible message to victims of abuse that if you defend yourself, you’re an abuser too.
“Hating Luka and Kagami for getting in the way of the Love Square is a very shallow reason for hating them. The show revolves around more than your precious Love Square. Stop being shallow”
I'd like to rephrase this.
You can dislike any characters for whatever reason you want.
You can't bash characters you dislike and belittle people who likes them.
i only have one way of enjoying things. i discover something that gives me that sweet sweet serotonin rush i crave. i relentlessly consume it with the ravenous, single-minded focus of a starving wild animal until the well of instant gratification i get from it runs dry. i immediately forget that it ever existed or had any effect on my life as i move on to the next victim of my obsession. a few months later i rediscover my passion for it and repeat the process. and i will never change and i will never improve. that is a promise.
