When did you join the fandom?: I’ve been casually into EXO since the Monster comeback, but highkey into EXO since Lotto, and so into exo that it’s actually sad since like November 2016
Who was your first bias?: Chanyeol caught my attention back when I watched Growl in like... 2015? Then when I actually got into EXO as in watching Showtime and all their stuff this past summer, it was Lay/Ksoo for a while
Who is your current bias?: I think I finally need to admit to myself that it’s Chanyeol and Bacon
Who is your bias wrecker?: Sehun
MAMA 2013 or MAMA 2015?: guess I’m a fake fan because I can’t recall MAMA2015
Kai or Jongin?: well he prefers Kai so I guess Kai
Xiudaddy or Minnie?: why not both?
Tao’s music or Luhan’s music?: I like a lot of Luhan’s music quite a bit and haven’t really listened to Tao’s except for that OTT dramatic music video. So, Luhan.
Lil’ Something or Best Luck?: idk what Best Luck is, guess I’m a fake fan
Kaisoo or Sekai?: Kaisoo because I’ve never witnessed Sekai
Baekyeon or Chanbaek?: Chanbaek as a brotp. But I wish Baekyeon could be a real public thing because they would be presh together since their have personalities that seem like they would mesh.
Krisho or Taoris?: I don’t really see either but I like them both as cat and mouse friendships
Maknae line or hyung line?: chingu-line, tbh
Miracles in December or Sing For You?: they’re both too emo for my taste tbh

EXO Next Door or EXO Showtime?: Showtime for me. EXO Next Door was great fun to watch (my friend and I drank wine and binged it in one night), BUT it had a really, severely unsatisfactory ending. I can look past all of the stilted or awkward stuff because that’s par for the course with a lot of dramas, but just. I was so mad when it ended. I was literally ranting and raving to my friend that I watched it with about how frustrated I was by it. EXO showtime, on the other hand, had 1 or 2 meh episodes but in general it was great and I still rewatch it from time to time.
Airport fashion or casual clothes?: casual
Makeup or no makeup?: no makeup. Did you see the Bacon barefaced vlive? Because I did and it was beauty incarnate
Favourite song currently?: Heart Attack is consistently my favorite. But right now I have Ka Ching by CBX on loop. It’s literally on my kpop playlist twice because I made a mistake but I’ve left it like that because I literally want to listen to it twice as much as my other recent song finds.
Favourite album?: Ultimately, I think I have to pick Lotto. I wish it had some more upbeat stuff like Transformer and Exodus, and for that reason I almost picked Exodus. But I think I liked the songs on Lotto better overall.
Favourite era?: I was only around to witness Monster/Lucky One and Lotto, but I think I would’ve liked Call Me Baby or LMR era. I almost picked Wolf going into Growl but tbh I don’t like it when a small group that I like blows up because the influx of new fans are usually pretty crazed and irrational. I like it when the fandom settles a bit.
Favourite choreography?: I like Growl because it has this cool-guy, laid back vibe to it. And of course, the way it was choreographed to be captured on camera with the moving one-take is just... *heart eyes*
Favourite [member] hair colour/style?: Chanyeol with silver hair changed my life. Honorable mentions to Xiumin with his beautiful purple hair in KaChing. And Baekhyun with honey brown which I wish he would keep always.
Opinion on [any ship]?: I wish I didn’t like ChanBaek/Baekyeol because that makes me a giant cliche. But I think it’s kinda funny/sad how irl Chanbaek is bascially Chanyeol doting on Baekhyun and Baekhyun being kind of cooled off towards him. But they hang out on their off time a lot so obviously there has to be some sort of genuine friendship there. I DO NOT, however, think that Baekyeon was a beard for Chanbaek, like some people do.
In your opinion who is/was the best rapper in EXO?: Chanyeol. I have no opinions on Tao and Kris because I came in too late to really care about comparing them.
In your opinion who is/was the best vocalist in EXO?: I think Baekhyun and Kyungsoo form the backbone of exo songs. They have differentiated enough vocal color to really make their songs stand out. Chen may have the best technique but at times that I just... don’t like how his voice sounds. But that’s just a preference.
How did you discover EXO?: well they were sorta unavoidable ever since I got into kpop in general. I saw them mentioned in comment sections even when I wasn’t on exo videos and eventually got around to watching some exo stuff to see what the hype was about. I think that was around 2014 since I got into kpop in 2013. When I first encountered exo, I was generally unimpressed. I watched a live stage of growl and there was barely any dancing and their clothes were ugly (funnily enough, I don’t like that live performance to this day). So then after watching that performance, I checked out one of their MV’s, Overdose, and I was annoyed by the long intro and the ugly clothes in the flashy box dance scenes. After that whole experience, I noped out of exo for a while. Then like a year later I watched the Growl dance practice (so this was at some point in 2015) and was seriously impressed with the choreo and one-take filming. Then I added some more of their songs to my kpop playlist in late 2015/early 2016. Watched some of their variety in early 2016 and was super casually into them until Monster/Lucky One. I started paying much more attention to them when Monster came out and there were discussions about it on the general kpop subreddit that I frequent, but I was still very into Seventeen at the time. Then Lotto came out and Seventeen was on hiatus so I was in need of some more variety shows to watch, so I checked out EXO showtime both for that and to learn all of their names for good, because I was mixing people up occasionally (my group obsessions always fucking start with trying to learn their names). Then after Showtime, I wanted more. The rest is history.
