Tips to beat the heat

Going to WDW next month just for a couple of days. It’s going to feel like the face of the sun (excitedd) here are a couple of helpful tips. I have found over the years to beat the heat.

1) USB rechargeable fan. I got mine off of Amazon for 15 bucks. Useful as hell. Has three speeds. I would suggest plugging it in each night to recharge before going out the parks again.

2) Using the shops for shade and to soak up air conditioning as often as possible. 99% of the time shops can be used as short cuts to get through large crowds and not die of heat stroke in the most magical place on earth.

3) Umbrellas are just as useful for rain as sun. On a very hot day use an umbrella as your own personal shade, can take about 5 to 7 degrees off of you.

4) ICE WATER IS FREE. Yes free. Not most things in Disney are free but this is. You can go to any quick service location and ask for ice water. This is highly important because you need to stay hydrated in the heat and humidity of Florida.
