Empathic-Psychopath
@empathic-psychopath
Why did I choose this name for my blog? No reason. Not true. Truthfully, I am astute, alert, academic, and unlucky. My older only brother has demonstrated to his/my parents and my older sibling sister, his friends, his spouse and kids, his employees, psychiatrists, psychologists, schools, police, and so forth, over his lifetime, the clear textbook signs of psychopathy–or, often confused, sociopathy. I won’t elucidate the differences, which are marked, or the similarities, which are many but sometimes nuanced.To boot, I’ve learned in the hardest of ways that I, in fact, have been partnered with someone who gradually has revealed a nefariously multifarious antisocial personality disorder–otherwise known as both/either psychopathy and/or sociopathy. Both my brother X and partner Y (they are two separate guys) characteristically lack the ability to empathize with others, and they share a host of other dark personality traits, demeanors, and/or manipulativeness. Also, they feel no remorse, upset, fear, or shock over anything, either good or bad, really. Their reactions are cold. My brother is far worse than my partner. My brother feels nothing when he or someone else he knows (or has the means to stop) is harming, maiming, or killing an animal; stereotyping, targeting, race-baiting, hunting, hating, blaming a human; risking one’s life or another’s life, recklessly harming, witnessing or watching a possible murder or killing, participating in a possible murder or malicious wounding; or even seeing, hearing about, or knowing the loved ones of any such possible victims. My brother mimics and feigns the appearance of empathy. He is evil and would snuff out my life in an instant without batting an eye, for he hates me due to my sexual orientation. He is a pathological liar. I also know he is a clever yet forgetful denier, and contemplative yet impetuous (attempted?) assailant (or maybe murderer). He is a closeted substance abuser, who is self-isolating, selfish, and solely self-interested. I hate and fear the very core of my brother’s being–he has no humanity with which to call him a human being. I do love my sister, though. ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE?
