We’ll get back to attraction magics, selkies, and their seal skins soon.  Webcomics is probably the worst format for telling a story like this, where there’s lots of “wait... then what does that mean for (x)?” questions.  There’s a lot to clarify and explain, and I promise it’ll be talked about again at length in the next chapter (which unfortunately comes out in webcomic-time, so y’know... half a year from now).
