This isn't a Screencap, but can we talk about how the fandom is a bit.. misogynistic. Like they're complaining about Fionna's actions in the newest episode, but her being 30 doesn't make her immune to mistakes. But her not being "Finn" doesn't make her a hoe, or a narcissistic piece of shit.
There hasn't even been a massive Timeskip, meaning that her having witnessed lots of people die, and saving the world was a recent thing.
But now, she's trying to keep up and help her friends, along with getting Huntress home. Now, she's dealing with magic again which might I add is still a pretty new thing in her life. She's also learned about cosmic owl dreams, and probably assumed the dream meant her and flame were meant to be.
In the newest episode, it goes to shit and stuff happens. However, it's not as disgusting and stupid as people think it is. Fionna lately has been holding herself to a standard, her interaction with Fennel in the porta potty also shows that she doesn't think too highly of herself.
So after having returned, she finds out that the fundraiser happened and succeeded, without her. From a certain view, this seems like what she believed to be her chance to help now gone. All that hard work, and they did it without her.
All these emotions of course, and DJ Flame who might we add willingly kisses her. This results in Fennel running away crying, Hunter leaving, and DJ Flame pulling excuses out of his ass.
And then, every emotion finally bursts and Fionna runs off, Marshals mom being the shit bag she is of course offers Fionna the job, and Fionna runs off again and finally loses it.
Having felt somewhat probably used, along with the baggage of having witnessed a man quite literally rot and turn to dust finally bursts as she trashes the Sweet Spot. However, she tries to stop as her brain lets up off the fog. Sadly, she smashes into the side and trashes everything.
Huntress finally catches up, and the episode ends with a hint that Fionna is probably going to lose her arm. (Can we stop having Fionna suffer?)
Now, Finn has been taken, the Heart in Ooo is dead, and Twitter is crying because the show isn't about Finn adventuring (Gee, I wonder why), now I hope if you are reading this and hates Fionna, that this makes you sort of understand.
