NAME: Faith Lehane AGE: twenty-two BIRTHDAY: December 14 FROM: Buffy the Vampire Slayer JOB: Bartender at Thirsty Whale
rebekahmiksâ:
âThis world would be far too dull if I left it,â she told the other woman with a chuckle. Rebekah was intrigued when the stranger mentioned living elsewhere. As far as she could remember, sheâd been stuck in this town. âWhere else have you lived? Iâd kill to be able to travel and find somewhere better than⊠this.â She took another sip from her glass of red wine and focused her attention on the woman beside her now. Hopefully sheâd be able to share some interesting stories and tales of better cities. Something for Rebekah to dream about and hope for her future. âLet me live through you for just a bit,â she requested.Â
âI do believe that one.â Faith didnât know this woman at all, but she did seem like she knew how to have fun. Vampire or not and Faith wasnât about to loose out on that not yet at lese. âOh, I lived in Sunnydale for a bit, Los Angeles, then back to Sunnydale - then I just ended up here one day.â The question had thrown her off, sheâd just assumed everyone had come from somewhere else. Had this woman really lived her whole life. âSo why donât you travel? Your kind usually doesnât stay in one place for too long, do they?â She thought of Spike and of Angel and where theyâd come from before making their way to Sunnydale. Why was it so different for her?Â
rebekahmiksâ:
If Rebekah was being honest with herself, the main reason she was in this town was the good nursing job sheâd received. Otherwise, sheâd be finding a way to live somewhere with more excitement. Of course, she had no clue that that wasnât her decision, but with her memories of who she had once been wiped from her mind, sheâd gotten fake ones in their place. The blonde crossed one leg over the other, getting comfortable on the bar stool. She was hoping to meet someone interesting. To find some sort of night life in this town that seemed to always sleep. As she felt a stranger approaching her, she put on a fake smile and turned to look at them. âPlease, join me for a drink before I pass away from boredom,â she requested. âI donât think anyone in this town has heard of fun.â
Faith had been trying her best to listen to Buffy and not go patrolling. She knew - as much as she hated to admit it that Buffy was right and that trouble would be lurking just around the corner. But that left Faith with a lot of free time and that was dangerous. Sheâd just gotten off work and didnât typically make it a habit to hang out there afterwards. Her coworkers really didnât need to see just how much fun she could have. But the night was young, the drinks were good, and who was Faith to turn down a good time? Looking at the blonde, her senses going off like crazy, clearly this woman was a vampire and one who didnât know she was. âCanât have you passing away, can we?â Faith didnât care. If Buffy could sleep with vampires why couldnât she have a drink with one?  âOh youâre very right about that. This place is the most boring place Iâve ever lived.â
buffysvmrsâ:
Of course she just had to come in on the night that Faith was working. How was it that these two always seemed to run into each other? Buffy could never decide if she liked Faith or loathed her. Probably somewhere inbetween. âWhat? Canât reach ten measly vampires in one night, Faith? Might need to up your game.â Buffy shook her head firmly. âWeâre not going looking for vampires. I might be bored but Iâm not an idiot. WellâŠ. not all the time. The town is quiet, the last thing we need is to bring trouble to it and you know we will if we go patrolling.â
Faith snorted at Buffyâs question. It was always going to be there between them, this need to one-up the other. It was part of their whole are we or arenât we friends dynamic. At one point Faith wouldâve done anything for Buffy, but now she wasnât so sure where she stood with her blonde counterpart. âPlease, B. You know I could easily take on ten of them.â She moved to wipe down the bar-top next to Buffy. âYou talk so damn much itâs just hard to believe is all.â She shrugged. âWhatever you say, B. We wonât go looking for trouble on my watch.âÂ

âIt truly feels like thereâs simply not enough time in the day. When Iâm done with the rebellious youth âround 4 or 5, Iâve got a million things I want to do. Since the start of the week, Iâve offered to watch my mateâs kid for their date night, promised to helped two neighbors fix their internet, scheduled nearly a whole evening on a bartending class and bought ingredients to attempt nine, possibly ten souffles, And itâs only Tuesday.â She paused, looking to the victim of her rambles. âAnâ now Iâve wasted a minute of a poor strangerâs time. At least tell me youâve faced the conundrum yourself,â Clara said with a sigh.
âWhy are you offering up so much of your free time? If I were you Iâd stick to the things you want to do and let everyone else worry about themselves.â Faith side, looking over at Clara. âYouâre exhausting me just hearing about everything youâve offered up.â She shook her head, a small smile on her face. âSorry babycakes, canât say that Iâve ever had that problem.â
buffysvmrsâ:
âYou know, nights around here are really boring,â Buffy huffed, sliding onto a stool at her favourite bar Thirsty Whale Tavern. âBack in Sunnydale, Iâd have slayed at least ten vampires right now. Iâm not saying I want the town to be overrun with pasty white lunatics but⊠a girl needs a hobby to pass the time.â She ordered her usual drink, head resting on her hand as she looked to who was beside her. âWhat do you do to pass the time? Whatâs a normal hobby?â
âYou know, they really are, B.â Faith teased as she turned to pour a drink for her friend? Enemy? Whoever Buffy was to her today. âTen, really? Letâs not be a show off, you know nobody likes those.â She handed the drink to Buffy. âDo you really need a hobby?â It was a slow night a the Tavern, one of her favorite nights to work so messing with Buffy was always a good way to pass the time. âIâm sure we can find some vamps here to slay when I get off work if youâre really that bored.â
