A member of the Kingsguard was sworn to a life of celibacy, of servitude.
Especially the Lord Commander.
A cool breeze blew through the leaves, singing a melodic song.
The soft pitter-patter of your footsteps against the stone path accompanied you in your thoughts. Flashes of him consumed before you pushed them away. But nothing got rid of him completely.
Sleep was no help either. Dreams of him invaded the most intimate corners of your mind, contorting into every space.
It was on nights like these that you found yourself in the gardens. You willed your mind to stop, while your legs carried you in circles, doing anything to get away.
You stood watching over the garden, the ocean waves rolling in the distance. A heavy calmness sat in the air.
“Princess?” You jumped at the sudden noise, quickly turning to the source. “I am sorry to have startled-“ It was like the Gods were laughing at you.
“No need to apologize, Ser.” You looked up at the man before you. The moonlight hugged his face like he was her favorite. Your hand clutched at your chest, attempting to slow the beating of your heart.
“I do not mean to interrupt. I did not expect to find you.” He explained, a shadow of concern washed over his face. “Is everything alright, your Highness?”
He was always so honorable. He pretended not to know, not to remember. He pushed the memories of your hot skin on his away.
You so desperately wanted to say no, to say the truth out loud. “I just needed a bit of air, Ser. I could not sleep.”
“Shall I fetch the Maester? He may be able to help.” He immediately came up with a solution, as always. You gently shook your head, knowing even he couldn’t help.
You quickly scanned him. He wore his loose shirt and a pair of hose, looking like he was preparing to head to his chambers. The breeze ruffled his auburn hair as he stood waiting for your reply. The moonlight cast against his back, creating a perfect silhouette through the fabric.
You became very suddenly aware of the way your thin chemises shifted, with every step and every gust of wind. But that did not matter now.
“Will you walk with me?” You asked before you could hold yourself back.
“Of course,” He replied at once “, anything.”
You quietly walked along the long path leading down to the edges of the garden. Hidden behind thick bushes and trees.
“Ser-“ You spoke hesitantly. “Duncan.” You stood holding your head up towards him.
“Yes?” He waited with bated breath.
The muscles in your hand twitched, desperate to reach out and touch him.
“I’ve missed you.” It came out in a pathetic whimper.
“Your Highness-“
“Please, Dunk, call me by my name.”
His lips parted and spoke your name, spoke it with so much reverence that it came out like a prayer. You reached out to touch his blushed cheek.
“I’ve missed you, too.” He admitted with closed eyes and leaned into your small hand.
“Please.” You begged. “Touch me.” He placed his large hand over yours, savoring the gentle touch. Taking your hand in his and bringing your palm to his lips, placing a ghostly kiss. You leaned into him, resting against his large frame. His arm found its way around your waist, pulling you in. Simultaneously, you inhaled, willing yourselves to remember every part of this moment.
Your mind was suddenly silent. A calmness washed over your body that not even the Gods could recreate.
Until “Princess-“. Dunk's face burned hot, suddenly remembering himself. Circumstances were different now. He painfully pulled away. “I cannot dishonor you any further. It is-“
“Dunk.” You interrupted. A wave of sadness crashed over you. “I cannot do this any longer. I cannot stand watching you every passing day pretending.” You swallowed the lump in your throat. “I lay awake at night torturing myself with the memories of us.” You turned your back on him, looking out into the vast ocean. A moment of silence passed before you spoke again. “I am leaving for Dorne.”
Dunk could not manage to get a single word out. He could feel the thumping of his heart ringing in his ears. He was breathless.
“But-“ He tried to think of something, anything to stop you. He tried to come up with a solution to get you to stay.
“You are now the Lord Commander, and I cannot let my selfish feelings get in the way of your duty to the Throne.” You turned back around to face him. His shoulders were completely slumped; he almost looked like a child.
The tears welled in your eyes, threatening to spill over the edges. You clasped your eyes shut, looking down, feeling a tear drop run down your face. After a moment, you put on a solemn smile, looking up at him one last time. Giving him one last curtsey.
“It has been a pleasure, Ser Duncan, the Tall. Goodnight.” You stepped forward, leaned up, and placed one last lingering kiss on his cheek.
Daylight was streaming in through the cracks of the blinds, illuminating the space. You could feel the breeze of the cool morning air brush over your bare skin.
A fog still clouded your mind, memories of the night before flashing in quick bursts, eliciting a soul-crushing realization. Pushing every thought away was the only way this would work, the only way you could continue this game.
The memory of his hot hands grasping, clenching onto you burned themselves into your memory. You could practically feel him on you now, how he trailed and traced every inch of you like it meant something. The sweet nothings that he whispered had been enough to keep this going. The way he looked at you in the safety and seclusion of your bedroom almost made you believe that this meant something more.
You were pathetic.
The only thing that dragged you out of these horrific thoughts was your cat clawing at the door. Finally mustering up the strength to open your eyes and shatter the hope that he might have stayed.
Your clothes were discarded around the room like confetti. No proof anyone else had been there only hours before, and he made sure it stayed that way. No stolen hoodies, no pictures, no notes, nothing— not even spare change— was left behind. The only thing left behind were ghosts, and unfortunately, you were the only one who could see them so vividly.
Pathetic.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
It really did make you sick. The way he acted with his flavor of the month in the halls, always the exhibitionist. It was like he had no shame, never with them. He flaunted them, practically swallowing them alive for the audience to gawk at.
You should have known what would happen when you let yourself say yes. If you could reach into the past, you would scream at the girl you were a year ago to run. He wasn’t good for you.
That’s what you told yourself every time before he came over. You would look in the mirror and say ‘this is the last time’ in an attempt to convince yourself to end it. Unwittingly, the night would always end in a blur of bare, hot, sticky skin.
He loved you in private. He told you things he never told anyone else, and like a fool, you let him in. You reciprocated, letting him infiltrate your souls a little more every time.
You knew you weren’t his type. You were painfully plain, and you wanted nothing more than to blend into the background. Your limbs felt awkward on your body like foreign objects, unable to stay coordinated. You weren’t part of the right family. You preferred staying in, indulging in your latest hobbies and obsessions. It often felt like your inner world was more rich, and sometimes more real than anything.
But then Steve came crashing into your life, literally. One rushed shoulder bump, and everything had changed. What was initially awkward interactions turned into small greetings, turned into study sessions, turned into this. It felt so natural that you almost couldn’t remember a time before.
You were helpless, and logically, you knew better, but every cell in your body yearned for him.
He walked the halls like he didn’t even know your name, only occasionally looking in your direction when he was sure no one would notice. Never saying more than two words to you when he thought anyone was in earshot. The best you got was a brief ‘hey’ or ‘excuse me’. It was like he was two different people.
What really killed you was when Nancy Wheeler started coming around. She was like a more confident, polished you. Not to mention, he actually talked to her in public, even when Tommy and Carol gave him shit. That was your breaking point, that was the end of your rope.
You scribbled ferociously in your diary. Every mark was practically illegible. It was the closest thing you had to a companion. It knew every secret, thought, feeling, and emotion. And tonight, like many before, it learned about your complex relationship with Steve. It was like you were possessed as you let your thoughts flow out.
You knew what you had to do, what you needed to do.
You were finally, seriously going to put yourself before him.
As your scribbling slowed, and you put your pen down, you took a second. Meditating on it before looking in your mirror and finally believing that there really would be a last time.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Like clockwork, you heard an urgent tap on the glass. Steve’s doe eyes peering in. You slid the window up, allowing him to enter. He was always so eager and normal, like he hadn’t spent the better half of a week denying your existence.
“I missed—” you cut him off, the anxiety was rising in your chest. You had to do this quickly before you changed your mind at the sound of his enticing words.
“We need to talk.” A shaky conviction filled your voice, one he had never truly heard before.
“What?” he furrowed his brow, looking down at your figure on the bed. He noticed your nails had been bitten down, almost bleeding from the constant picking. He swallowed the growing lump in his throat.
“I just— I don’t know if I can do this anymore, Steve.” Your voice cracked at the end; he couldn’t read your expression.
“Do what?” He wanted to be oblivious, but he knew better. Instead, he faked confusion.
“This. Us.” Your hand gestured between the two. “I can’t keep playing this game with you.”
“What are you talking about?” he swallowed.
“Oh, come on, Steven. Don’t act like you don’t know what this does to me. I can’t keep pretending like I don’t know you, like you don’t know me.” Your tone slightly raised. “I can’t go to school every day watching you make out with Tina, or Stacy, or for fuck sake, Nancy, and pretend like it doesn’t kill me.”
Steve stared at you in silence. He didn’t know what to say. You waited a beat before continuing.
“I know this is normal or whatever to you, but I just can’t do this. You can’t even say hi to me at school without looking over your shoulder. How do you think that makes me feel?” You could feel the hot tears in your eyes threatening to spill over. He said nothing.
Now you’re mad. You drew your brows together, scoffing at him. “You can’t even say anything to me now?”
He finally opened his mouth, hesitant to speak. “I- I don’t know what to say.” He dropped his head. “I’m sorry.”
Steve’s mind was racing, going a million miles a minute. He was lying to himself, to you, to all of Hawkins. Steve was more complicated than he probably even realized. He was torn between social expectations and what he really wanted. The only person he had felt safe around for the past year was you. He could always come and express himself without being judged. He had never experienced anything like you before, and he didn’t want to lose you. Both sides of his brain were fighting, and like the stupid teenage boy he was, the social expectations always won.
“That’s all you have to say? That you’re sorry?!” Your expression began to contort into one of disgust. “You know, Steve, for a while I let myself be convinced that you were different. That you actually might like me, but I’ve been such a fucking idiot.” You felt rage.
Steve felt his head twisting and tightening. A wave of anxiety flushed over him.
You couldn’t help but chuckle at the ridiculousness of everything. “I can’t believe I let myself fall in love with you.” It came out as a venom-filled whisper.
His heart sank. Half of him was screaming to go over and kiss the tears away and make it better, but his body wasn’t moving. It was like he was trapped in cement. He tried to open his mouth to speak, but no words came out.
“You need to leave. Now.” Your voice felt strong now. Tears clouded your vision. Your mouth was completely dry. “And keep pretending like we don’t know each other, like any of this happened. I know that’s not exactly hard for you.” You stared at him until he stepped toward the open window.
You had never seen him look so crushed, but that wasn’t your problem, not anymore, not ever again.
“I- I never…” He couldn’t get the words out.
You had enough of him, of what he did to you.
“Get out, Steve.” He obeyed, wordlessly crawling through the small space. He turned to have one last look at your face before you slammed the window and harshly shut the curtains.
There had been a heatwave passing through town for the last week, and you were desperately trying to cool down. The days seemed endless, and the nights didn’t get much better. You had tried everything.
You took cold showers for as long as you could before your parents yelled at you for making the water bill go up. You filled up on all the ice cream you could until you burst. You wore fewer and fewer clothes until it was no longer appropriate. You lie on your wooden floor for hours without moving, only getting up when the spot you sat in gets too hot.
Ring Ring Ring
The loud sound woke you from your meditative trance, as you tried to think cool thoughts. The temptation to leave it was almost overpowering, but you knew that if you were getting a call, it could only be from a handful of important people.
You only moved as much as you had to pick up the phone on the dresser above you.
“Hello?” it came out grumpier than intended as you tugged on the cord to bring it down to your ear.
“Hello sunshine. You don’t sound too happy on this fine afternoon.” Steve’s voice gleefully chirped from the receiver.
“Yeah, right, fine afternoon, my ass. How could I be when my parents banned me from taking cold showers and turning the A/C on? I’ve resorted to lying on the floor and moving around to find a cold spot like a dog. Also, why do you sound so happy right now?”
“Oof, sounds rough. But that’s exactly the reason I called. You need to come over.” Steve responded.
“Why? I’m not moving unless I have to.” You groaned.
“Two words. Cooled pool.” He smirked through the phone.
“I’ll be there in 10 minutes.”
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
His backyard was an oasis. The coolers were filled with ice-cold beer and ice cream. The poolside umbrellas perfectly covered each lounge chair. The pool was pumping with cool water. Good music filled the space. And your best friends were hanging out.
Your dress and flip flops were discarded in a pile as you sat in a bikini under an umbrella. Cold drips of ice cream made their way down your hand, melting uncontrollably in the midwestern heat. You lapped them up as quickly as possible before they could get any further.
Steve sat next to you, secretly watching from behind his sunglasses, trying not to get caught. He watched the way your tongue lapped up the sweet, sticky trail. He suddenly felt a lot hotter. He only ripped his eyes away when Eddie yelled at him.
“Hey, big boy! What’s so interesting?” Eddie yelled at Steve, but you didn’t pay attention. Eddie subtly teased him as they bickered.
You brought your attention to Steve, watching him behind your dark shades. He looked impossibly, and cruelly handsome, even in this heat. You watched as the condensation from his beer dropped in pearls onto his toned torso. You watched how he threw his head back whenever he laughed. You watched him whenever he wasn’t looking, whenever he was distracted, whenever you had the chance.
Robin was in the pool, going between floating on the surface to dunking her body in for as long as she could hold her breath. She made a big splash coming up and pulled your attention away.
“How long was it that time?” She asked breathlessly when she finally came up for air. She rubbed her eyes and pushed the hair out of her face.
“You’re not gonna like this, Rob. It was 47 seconds. 3 seconds less than your personal best.” Eddie answered, looking down at the watch in his hand as she sat in the grass under a large tree. He was holding Steve’s camcorder, recording randomly, trying to capture as many memories as possible.
“Shit, okay, give me 10. I swear I'm going a full minute by today.” She got out of the pool, walking over to her chair next to you. She jokingly shook her body like a dog splashing you and Steve in the process.
You let out a laugh while Steve tried to cover his hair.
“Robin! Come on, you know I just washed it!” He pointed towards his impressively manicured hair.
“You’re being dramatic! How are you going to invite us over to swim and not even swim in your own pool?” You asked, turning your head to him.
“Yeah, Harrington! You gotta partake!” Eddie shouted from across the way. He had tied his hair up in a bun and had his bangs pushed out of his face, still damp from his last dunk.
“For the record, I AM getting in the pool! I’m just not dunking my head in!”
“That’s the best part!” Robin exclaimed as she threw her arms in the air, hair still dripping on the concrete.
“Yeah, whatever. I’ll get in later.” He was lying, but you had a plan.
The ice cream was long gone, leaving only the wooden stick behind. You chewed on it mindlessly as you bobbed your head to the music.
“Anybody need anything? I’m gonna go to the bathroom real quick.” Steve asked as he walked towards the sliding door.
“Can you throw this away, Stevie?” You pouted. He immediately walked to you and took the, admittedly gross, stick out of your hand.
“Good boy!” Eddie yelled, mocking him.
“Shut it, Munson!” Steve responded. You giggle at the two.
As soon as the door shut behind him, you turned to your friends.
“When he comes back out, we have to push him in.”
“Okay, but you have to do it. He would kill either of us if we did it.” Robin relied. The three of you started scheming.
When he finally came out, you set your plan in motion.
“Hey dingus! Take a look at this, I think there’s something in your pool.” Robin said, waving him over, pretending to look at the filter.
“Shit. What now?” He walked over to the edge to inspect. You quietly got up behind him, and just as he went to bend down, you placed both hands on his back and pushed him as hard as you could.
He fell in with a huge splash, getting your feet wet in the process. The three of you laughed as Eddie recorded the whole thing.
He came up quickly with his formerly manicured hair now completely soaked. He looked at you, and he was only upset for a split second before his face broke out in a grin. “Oh, you are so going to pay for that!”
Steve held onto the edge of the pool and pushed up to crawl out. He tried to grab you, but you immediately began to run, dodging him.
“You have to catch me first!” You laughed at him as you ran around the grass.
“You’re not going anywhere, sunshine!” It only lasted about 10 seconds before he grabbed onto your waist, holding you up. He ran straight for the pool, and before you knew it, your body was submerged.
Steve still held onto you as he pushed up, bringing you two to the surface. You let out a breathless laugh before noticing how hot his touch felt on your bare skin. He reluctantly released you when you oriented yourself.
“You’re such an idiot.” You splashed water on his face, smiling brightly like him.
“You love it.” He said charmingly. You held onto his eye contact for a second. You couldn’t deny it.
“Now that you’re wet, we can finally have some real fun in this thing!” Eddie said wiggling is eyebrows from above. He ran and did a cannonball, splashing the three of you before you could respond to Steve.
The day went on in a haze of playing chicken, pool tag, racing, and, yes, seeing who could hold their breath the longest. Robin eventually made it to the minute mark as everyone cheered her on. Eddie came in last; his lungs weren’t exactly in pristine condition.
You stayed in until your skin was well beyond pruned and the sun began to slowly dip in the sky. Freckles lined their way around your face, and your bikini left impressive tan lines on your body.
Somewhere along the way, you all decided to stay the night and have a movie night to keep the party going, and to take advantage of the free A/C. After lounging around a bit more and drying off, Steve finally got up from his chair.
“I don’t know about you guys, but I’m starving! I’m gonna order some pizza, does anyone have any requests?” You all gathered your things and followed him inside.
He spoke into the phone for a bit, “Yeah, can I get one pepperoni pizza and one cheese pizza? Mhm, yeah. Oh, and can I get a side of garlic bread and a liter of Coke?” he paused to listen to the order being given back to him, “Yeah, I think that’s everything.” He looked around at everyone, making sure no one had any more requests.
“Uh, hold on.” He pressed the phone to his chest. “Should we do pickup or delivery?” As asked.
“I can pick it up. I gotta go pick up some more ‘stuff’ anyways.” Eddie responded, making finger quotes, although everyone knew what he was talking about. Steve nodded his head.
“Can I come? I wanted to buy some, uh, chips and candy for the movie.” Robin said quickly, while Steve was preoccupied.
Eddie wore a devilish smirk on his face. “Great idea, Rob.” You gave the two a quizzical look, knowing they were up to something, but before you could ask, Steve interrupted.
“He said it was gonna be 45 minutes. I guess they have a ton of orders. Do you guys wanna shower before heading out?” Steve started washing and cleaning up in the kitchen.
“Sure, we’ll be quick.” Robin looked at Eddie.
“There’s a bathroom in each guest room, you guys know where everything’s at, right?” Steve asked the pair, who were already going up.
“Yeah, we got it!” After what seemed like not even 15 minutes, they both came out freshly showered and changed.
“Whoa, you guys are fast. Did you wanna wait a little longer? There's still plenty of time.” Steve said.
“We’re actually gonna head out right now since we gotta go across town and stop by the store.” Eddie was already throwing on his shoes while Robin slipped on hers. He grabbed his keys, and they were gone before you knew it.
“Okay. Well, I guess it’s just us then. Do you, uh, wanna shower first? You can use my bathroom, I have good shampoo.” He tried to make a joke, suddenly aware of the fact that you were wearing a very small bikini standing in the middle of his living room. He willed his eyes to stay on your face.
You went to grab your tote but realized you only had a pair of underwear. You didn’t plan on staying and expect to wear your dress back home. “Shit. Can I borrow a change of clothes? I didn't bring any.” You asked. You had been to Steve’s dozens of times, but tonight felt more tense than usual.
“Go ahead. You know where everything is, take whatever you want.” He said very casually.
“Thanks. I’ll be right back!” You smiled up at him before, walking up the stairs. About halfway up the stairs, you turned back around.
“Oh, do you have any towels?” He definitely wasn’t secretly looking at your butt. His eyes immediately darted up to yours, and a blush washed over his face.
“Uh, yeah, they’re, uh, in the cupboard!” He stumbled over his words, trying to pretend like he didn’t get caught.
You pretended not to notice and did your best to hold back a smirk. You could feel a blush wash over your face, and you turned around before he noticed. “Thanks, Steve! I’ll be quick!” You shouted and you walked up.
You definitely needed a cold shower now.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
You shrugged the oversized shirt over your head and slipped on a pair of boxers, rolling the band so that they sat on your hips. There was no way you were gonna wear sweats tonight.
You did your best to towel-dry your hair and applied whatever leave-in conditioning products you could find in the cabinet.
As you walked downstairs to find Steve sitting on the couch, flipping through channels.
“I’m back.” You said quietly.
His attention was pulled to you. “ Wow. You look-“
“Ridiculous? I know, everything was huge on me.” You smiled.
“Beautiful.” He let it out breathlessly, like it was a secret he couldn’t keep in anymore.
“Thank you.” You looked down at your feet, hiding your blush. “You’re too nice to me.”
“I’m just being honest.” You looked back up at him. Comfortable silence lingered in the air.
“Well, I guess I should go shower.” He said, adjusting his trunks as get got up.
You walk toward the couch and switch spots with him. He quickly sat up and turned his body away from you.
Your mind was filled with thoughts of Steve Harrington. He was driving you insane, and you swore it would kill you. You always thought he was good-looking, you’ve had a schoolgirl crush on him for as long as you could remember, but over the past year, something changed. Maybe it was him maturing, or the way he held himself, or how he cared for everyone around him. You didn’t know what, but thoughts of him consumed you. He was driving you crazier than the heat. Every touch and hug and look made your stomach flutter.
You turned down the TV, opting to listen to the running water instead. You urged your mind not to think of Steve in the shower. You could feel your heart beating rapidly at the profane images that lodged themselves in your brain.
As you sat in the quiet living room, you swore you could hear gentle moans coming from upstairs. But it was over before you could fully register what was going on.
After 10 minutes, he came back down. He wore a pair of old basketball shorts he still had and a tank top that showed off the smallest sliver of skin when he raised his arms.
“Want a beer?” He asked, and you nodded as he grabbed a few more from the fridge, setting them down on the coffee table.
He sat down next to you, close enough that you could feel the heat radiating off of him, but not close enough that you were touching. Unfortunately, you craved his touch.
Some old reruns of Jeopardy were playing, and you took turns guessing. Eventually, you two just started coming up with any answer that could make the other laugh the most.
After a couple of beers each, you got more comfortable and you stretched your legs over him. He placed his large hands over you, and you tried not to react. His thumb made small circles over the smooth skin of your thigh.
He loved pulling a laugh out of you; the sound was music to his ears. The way the corners of your eyes crinkled as you threw your head back made him fall deeper. He was helpless. As he watched you, he thought about every moment he’s spent with you. The way you held yourself, the way you cared and loved, the way you looked at him like he was someone worth caring about. He couldn’t imagine his life without you, and without thinking, he opened his mouth.
“Can I tell you something?” Steve turned to you, a desperate look in his eyes. “And promise not to laugh.”
“What is it?” Your full attention was on him now.
“I ha- I used to have this huge crush on you.” He didn't know why he lied, but waited for your response.
“Used to?” Your heart felt tight.
“Yeah. Before Nance, you know? When we were in that English class together? We did that presentation together, and I went to your house.” He thought back to that day.
“Yeah, I remember.” It came out meeker than you intended. You dropped your gaze to your fingers; suddenly, they were much more interesting. Your mouth felt dry.
“I remember when Miss. Jacob paired us up. I thought I was gonna vomit.” He paused for a beat. “And I remember going over to your house and walking into your room. I thought it was perfect, it was so you. I'm pretty sure you had to do most of the work cause I couldn’t concentrate.” He looked into your eyes, holding himself back from saying more. “You don’t think I’m weird or anything, right?” He felt like he could throw up.
“No, of course not. I mean, it’s not like you like me now or anything. Do you?” You waited with bated breath.
He paused for a beat, then parted his lips to speak.
“Pizzas here! And we brought some goodies too!” Eddie shouted as he threw the door open.
You and Steve pulled apart like the space between you was on fire.
“Perfect! I’m starving! Is anyone else starving?” You jumped up and headed to the kitchen. You say the two are standing with a grocery bag. Eddie placed the pizza down, and Robin pulled out the snacks.
Steve trailed in behind you; the air was slightly tense, and Robin immediately noticed.
Eddie dug around the paper bag until he pulled out what he was looking for. “Anyone wanna smoke?” He let out a devilish grin, holding up the joint.
“Yeah, sure, man. We can go outside.” Steve said, clearly out of it. Eddie gave him a look, but followed him out before turning to you.
“We’ll be out in a sec. Gonna get some water first.” Robin lingered and motioned Eddie to go ahead.
“Is everything alright?” She asked, her brow furrowed with concern. You grabbed a glass from the cupboard and played with the rim, looking down.
“I don’t know. I’m just being silly.” Robin was one of the only people you talked to about this kind of thing. She knew about how you felt; she was there through every exhausting call whenever Steve went on a date, or every moment of denial when you tried to push your feelings down.
“What happened? Talk to me.” You set the glass down.
“I just- I don’t know what happened. We were sitting down watching TV, having a good time like always. Then he looked at me and said, ‘I used to have a massive crush on you. ’ Like he used to, as in not anymore. God, I'm so pathetic.” You put your hands on your face in memory.
“Hey, hey, you’re not pathetic. Did he say anything else?” She placed a hand on your back.
“Well, he told me that he had a crush on me before he dated Nancy.. And like an idiot, I asked if he still had a crush on me!” You whispered, trying not to speak too loudly.
Robin let out a huff. “I promise you, you are not the idiot here.” She could strangle him right now, but she wasn't going to tell you that. You let out a deep sigh and composed yourself, feeling slightly better now that you told Robin.
“I’m just going to pretend like that didn’t happen, like I don’t feel anything about what he said.” You quickly turned and filled up the glass with water. Shaking off the sick feeling in your stomach, chugging the glass, and setting it down a little too harshly. “Come on. I need to smoke.”
You quickly mentally prepared yourself as you slid the door open, and the hot air engulfed you. The whispers between the boys suddenly succeeded. As Eddie turned to you two, he put his signature smile on.
“Look who’s joining us. You two have to catch up, two hits each!” He held out the joint to you two, they say, crossing from each other on the loungers. “You first, Rob, you’re a lightweight weight we gotta let you ride it out first.” Cruelly, he made her sit down next to him, and you took a seat next to Steve.
You avoided his eye contact as you watched Robin take a hit and cough, passing it to you. You brought the joint up to your lips and let the smoke fill your lungs. You closed your eyes for a moment as you felt it wash over you.
You blew it out and handed it back. “You are bad influences.” He smiled, her eyes already turning red. He took her second hit and handed it back.
As you blew the smoke out, you let all the tension from today slip away. Or you tried.
You finally felt relaxed about looking up at Steve and handing it to him. His fingers delicately brushed yours, as you gave him a small smile as if to reassure him.
After a few more rounds, you were all laughing your asses off. Cackling about nothing in particular until Robin remembered the pizza.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
You gathered around the box and piled a few slices each on your plates. You brought all the chips and candy, and the drinks they had bought, and spread them out like a buffet on the coffee table.
Steve got up to start the movie, and you all found a spot and got comfortable. The room filled with munching and laughter as you all talked through the whole thing.
Just as the movie was reaching its climax, suddenly all of the lights shut off, and the A/C powered down.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Steve groaned. “I think we have some candles and flashlights somewhere.” He searched around the hallway closet until he pulled out a box of what he was looking for.
He placed a few candles around the living room. And pulled out the one shitty flashlight they had. Thank god you were all still high.
“Now what?” Robin asked.
“We could play games or something. Maybe tell spooky stories.” You said.
“Hell yeah! Let’s play truth or dare. House rules. And to make it interesting, if you don’t want to answer or do the dare, you have to take a shot.” Eddie replied dangerously. You all agreed.
The house slowly started to warm up. It wasn’t noticeable at first, but as the game went on, it became increasingly palpable.
You took turns playing. At first, it was mild, then after a few more rounds and a few shots later, it got more interesting.
“Dare.” Eddie picked.
“I dare you to run down the street and back naked,” Robin said.
“You play dirty, Rob. I like it.” He got up and started stripping down.
“Wait, where’s the camera!” You pulled it off the shelf and pressed record. The three of you followed him out as he ran down the street hollering. He raised hands were raised above his head until he made it back inside, covering himself.
The room was filled with laughter. “Holy shit, I can’t believe you actually did that!” Steve said, falling back into the couch, holding his stomach.
“You’re next, big boy.” Eddie smiled devilishly. “Truth or dare?”
“Truth,” Steve answered carefully.
Eddie thought for a moment, “When was the last time you got turned on and why?”
“No way, I’m not answering that. Give me the shot.” He reached for the bottle.
Eddie pulled the bottle away, wagging his finger. “Nuh uh uh. Remember house rules, Stevie. You skipped last time, so you have to answer now.”
You and Steve quietly thanked god the room was dark.
“You have to be kidding me,” Steve said. “Fine. Whatever.” He adjusted in his spot. “It was, uh, earlier today, when I was in the shower.” You suddenly remembered the quiet moans, and the room suddenly became a lot more searing.
“And why was that, Steve?” Eddie dragged out. Steve hesitated to answer.
“Cause I was thinking of her in her bathing suit, okay!” He waved to you. Steve let it out in a rush, wanting the moment to be over. Eddie grinned in the dark as the room went quiet.
You could feel your body igniting. Every movement from Steve sent a strike of lightning down your spine.
“Okay!” Robin clapped to bring attention to herself. “ I don’t know about you guys, but I’m exhausted! I think I’m gonna head up to bed. What do you think, Eddie?” She wasn’t very subtle.
“Oh yeah, sure. I’m pretty tired too.” He wasn’t tired at all, but his work was done.
The two of you jumped up off the couch. Desperate to break free of the heavy tension.
“I’ll see you guys tomorrow, goodnight.” Robin was already walking upstairs as she threw you one last glance. Eddie followed as he proudly whistled.
“I think I’m gonna head up too.” You looked up at his dim figure. His face was only illuminated by candlelight. “It’s been a long day.”
“Yeah. I guess it has.” Something more lingered.
“Goodnight, Steve.” You gave him a tight-lipped smile as you turned. As you made it to the third step before you felt his large hand grab onto your wrist.
“Wait. I just- I-“ You searched his eyes, waiting for more. “Can we please talk?” Steve finally pleaded.
You nodded your head. “Do you wanna sit outside?”
Without responding, he took you by the hand and led you. You sat on the same chair, you turned to face him, and he did the same.
He let out a sigh. “I’m sorry. About everything. I’ve been a massive idiot today.”
“It’s okay, Steve, it’s just a game. You’re human, you can’t help it.” Your voice came out quiet.
“No, I don’t mean that. Well, yes, that, but not just that.” He shook his head and looked down at his fingers. “I meant about earlier, too.”
“Oh.” You put on your best confident voice. “Seriously, it’s not a big deal. I mean, it was all in the past anyway.” You brought your knees up to your chest.
“I- Yeah, right, but-“ He stuttered, tripping over his words like it was his first time speaking. “It’s just- what if it’s not in the past?”
Your eyes snapped up to his. The thumping in your chest increased; you could feel your heart rattling inside of you.
“What?” Your mouth was dry.
“I don’t know why I didn’t just-“ He shook his head. “I should have told you sooner. I just didn’t know how. You’ve always been so great, and I was scared I would ruin everything and-“He rambled as your head fogged up.
“Steve!” You cut him off. “What are you trying to say?” You sat up at full attention now.
“I’ve been in love with you since I was 15.” He felt like he had ripped his heart out of his chest and held it up to you. Willing to let you do whatever you wanted with it if it meant having a chance.
After a moment of processing, you couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief.
“Holy shit.“ You said it more to yourself than anything. “Steve I-“ He panicked.
“God, I'm such an idiot, I shouldn't have said anything. Please forget everything I ju-“
You could help but laugh and the absurdity of the situation.
“Great, now you’re laughing at me.” He went to stand up. Before you grabbed him and pulled him back down.
“Steve! Just listen!” He hesitantly sat back down. “I have a massive crush on you. I’ve been in love with you for like a year now.”
“Really?” He didn’t believe it at first, but after it settled, Steve felt like he could fly.
“Yes, really. I kinda freaked out earlier in the living room. I was being an idiot too.” A massive smile filled his face.
“Holy shit.” A weight was off his shoulders. “I can’t believe this. Are you being serious? Are you sure? Cause if you're not, this isn’t fu-“ He started rambling again, trying to make sure that this was real.
You giggle and do the only other thing you could think would shut him up and kiss him.
As your lips met his, he stiffened for a second before instantly melting into you. He brought his hand to cup your face while the other wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer.
He pulled away for a second to really look at you. Before attacking you with gentle kisses, you giggle as he makes his way down your neck. He continued until he kissed the one spot that made you quietly moan.
He smiled into your neck, leaving a couple more before pulling away. You whimpered at the loss of contact.
“Wanna head in?”
“I would love to.”
He tangled his fingers with yours as he led you up the steps and into his bedroom. The only light that came in was from the full moon outside.
He settled on the side of his bed as he pulled you in. You held onto his beautiful face, looking down into his doe eyes.
“I’ve been waiting so long for this.” He whispered in awe. “I’ve dreamt about us. Just like this.” The confession leaked from his mouth like honey.
You leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on his lips, one that said everything you couldn’t put into words. You slowly fell into him as he held you. Your full weight pressed onto his chest.
His hands roamed your back and hips, making their way down. It was slow, no rush, no pressure, just pure bliss.
You tangled your fingers into his hair, gently tugging at the strands. A guttural moan escaped him, igniting something inside of you.
You pulled away and straddled him. The heat in the room was building up. You could feel him under your heat; the hardness and stillness of his body mesmerized you.
The edge of his shirt was pushed up, revealing hair on his torso that trailed further down. You pushed it all the way up and placed a soft kiss near his heart. He sharply inhales at the action. Every touch and kiss was electric.
You fully tugged the shirt above his head, tossing it to the side. You explored him as he brought his hands under the oversized shirt, his oversized shirt.
Hands explored every mound and valley. Softly rubbing and feeling, and massaging. Each is desperate to memorize the other. He looked up at you as the moonlight perfectly illuminated your beauty. He reached the hem of the shirt and pulled it up, throwing it to the side.
Steve pulled you into him now, placing a deep kiss on your lips. He could feel your nipples pressing against his chest. He firmly grasped your back as he flipped you over, placing your back onto the mattress.
He continued to kiss, and he spread your legs, placing himself between them. The heat of your core radiated on him. He pulled away from your mouth but continued to kiss you on the neck. Gently nipping and sucking on your most sensitive spots.
“Oh, Steve.” His name tastes so sweet on your tongue when you moan it.
He responds by traveling down, making sure to give attention to each breast. Your head was already spinning; every second was agonizingly blissful.
He eventually reached your waistband, and he placed a kiss just below. Steve looked up to make sure he had permission.
“Please, Steve.” You quietly pleaded for him to continue, waiting for what would come next.
He pulled the shorts off, leaving only your panties. The thin fabric was soaked. He kissed you through them as he kneeled on the floor. Steve brought his large hands up to rub you.
You could already feel yourself becoming undone; your meek moans sounded like music in his ears.
He reached up and slowly dragged the fabric down, leaving you exposed. The moonlight adorned your body, hugging and complementing every curve and edge. He could see how you glistened; he could visibly see the euphoria coursing through you.
He gently kissed each thigh before bringing his mouth to your very core. Your body automatically reacted, and you brought your hand up to your mouth to dampen the profanities that threatened to spill out.
“God,” You mumbled into your hand, now biting the edge to keep yourself quiet. The other hand made its way into his hair, tugging and pulling as you ground yourself into him.
He moaned into you, and the vibration alone almost sent you over the edge.
Steve couldn’t get enough of you. Everything was better than his wildest dreams. The taste, the touch, the way you loved. Everything was better.
He took his fingers and slowly dipped into you, gently pumping and curling until he found your spot. When he did, he inserted another and continued, wanting to unravel you on his tongue.
“Fuck Steve. Right there! I’m gonna-“ Your eyes rolled to the back of your head, and pressed into the mattress.
“Cum for me, baby.” That pushed you over the edge, as you feel a wave of intensity flood over you. The knot was completely unraveled. He slowly pulled out and gently kissed your thighs.
Your heart pounded out of your chest as waves of euphoria flooded over you. A dumb smile made its way onto your face as you opened your eyes to look up at him. He was wiping his face with the back of his hand. You lazily pulled him toward you and kissed him.
The taste of you on his tongue pulled you back into him. You sat up and guided him to the top of the bed, straddling him again. It was your turn to examine him in the moonlight.
You counted every freckle and mole that littered his body, connecting them like a puzzle with your finger.
“You are so beautiful.” You said as you kissed his chest, you brought his hand up to your mouth, kissing the palm, then placing his pointer finger between your lips, gently sucking.
“Oh, baby.” He was a moaning mess as he watched you.
You placed one last kiss on his hand before returning it to his side. As you continued your journey down his body, you could feel goosebumps start to form on him. You hummed in pleasure.
You placed a hand over his mound, caressing and massaging him, as he groaned in pleasure. You tugged on his waistband until he helped you take them off fully.
He was laid out bare in front of you. You could see a small pearl already formed on the tip. You started by slowly, almost torturously, pumping. Back and forth, back and forth. His hips jutted into your small hands.
Steve’s eyes were half lidded as he stared at the scene in front of him.
While he closed his eyes to savor the feeling, you leaned forward and placed a kiss on the tip, traveling down to the base. Licking your way back up.
Your mouth wrapped around him as you savored the taste. He dug his head into the pillows to keep from screaming out in ecstasy. Your mouth and hands work in union as you pleasure him.
The soft feeling of you wrapped around him left him a mumbling mess. He gathered your hair in a ponytail to get it out of your way. You made eye contact with him, wanting to see how you made him feel. He felt like he could combust just from the look you gave him. His toes curled as he tried to hold himself back.
“Please, baby. Wait, not yet.“ He pleaded for you to stop. Steve wanted to fully connect with you. He didn’t want to peak like this just yet.
You pulled your mouth away from him, but let your hands rest on his thighs.
Steve reached into his bedside table and pulled out a condom, quickly rolling it on.
You crawled back onto him and pressed your mouth onto his. Grinding against him, every moment made you more desperate.
He pulled you in and flipped you over again, as he hovered above you.
Steve kissed you as he guided himself towards your entrance.
“I love you, baby.” He cupped your face in his hands, savoring every second.
“I love you, Steve.”
He rocked his hips forward and pushed in. Bliss.
Your bodies are finally connected. Two became one, like it always should have been.
You felt breathless as he filled you, your body stretched out to accommodate him. Steve whimpered as you tightened around him.
He shoved his face in the crook of your neck as he thrusted at a steady pace. He bit at your shoulder, trying to hold off from releasing.
He threw your legs over his shoulders, daring to push in deeper, and his fingers found their way to your sensitive bud. You moaned and whimpered and touched in synchronicity.
“Steve, oh fuck! I’m close,” you tried to say, but it came out as more of a whine.
“Cum with me, baby, please.” It felt like a prayer. His needy voice sent you spiraling. You tightened around him as a tsunami of pleasure infiltrated your body. Steve instantly came undone. As he spilled into you, he could feel the pleasure oscillating between you two.
He stayed still for a while, trying to catch his breath. He pulled out, which elicited a whimper from you at the loss of contact.
“You’re incredible.” He placed a kiss on your forehead before rolling next to you. He rolled the condom off and threw it into the small trash can. He pulled your head onto his chest, laying an arm around you. Your bodies were covered in a sticky sheen of sweat as you attempted to steady your breaths. There was so much to say and talk about, but all of that could wait till tomorrow.
You could hear the pounding of his heart. The rhythm transfixing you, you needed more of him. All of him.
He placed a finger under your chin, forcing you to look up. He analyzed every detail before placing a sweet kiss on your lips.
“I love you, Steve.” You whispered into him, nuzzling closer.
“I love you, baby,” Steve replied. His fingers traced your spine and arms, while yours followed the curves of his chest.
“Wanna take a quick shower?” You asked if the heat of the room was beginning to settle again, and the added mugginess didn’t help. He agreed and quickly opened the window before following you in.
The cool water ran down your hot bodies as you washed each other, taking turns. It devolved into a mess of kisses and touches as the shower went on.
When you finally stepped out, Steve handed you an oversized t-shirt; your panties had been ruined and discarded somewhere on the floor. He slipped on a pair of boxers before he pulled the damp comforter off the bed.
As you lay together in the hot room, like a miracle, a cool breeze fluttered through the open window.
That was all it took to sink into him, and let yourself fall completely.
Waking up next to Clark was one of the great joys in your life.
Your eyes fluttered open to see the sun streaming in through the crack in the curtains. You could feel Clark’s strong arms wrapped around you in a warm embrace. You slowly turned over, trying not to wake him up. He always looked so peaceful when he slept.
He looked so free from the stress and pressure of his life. You had never seen anyone look as beautiful as he did without even trying. His hair was extra curly and unruly from his night’s sleep. You couldn’t help but brush it out of his face as you gently placed your palm on his cheek.
You stared at him for a moment longer before you brought your lips to his face. First to his cheeks, then his forehead, then his nose. You gently kissed him all over until you could feel the corners of his mouth twitch. The grip on your waist tightened before he fully pulled you into him. “Golly, I must be dreaming because I can feel a beautiful angel kissing me.” His raspy morning voice sent a shiver down your spine.
You giggled before he pulled you in for a morning kiss. “Good morning to you too.” You whispered as you played with the hair on his neck.
“You look exceptionally beautiful this morning, my love.” He said with such deep admiration.
“You say that every day, Clark.”
“And I mean it every day.”
Just as Clark went to pull you in for another kiss, a fluffy white ball jumped on his chest. “Ow! Krypto down! Get down!” Clark exclaimed, pointing to the dog bed in the corner of the room. Krypto didn’t listen as he excitedly nudged and pawed at him. You let out a laugh at the two.
“Aw, come one, Clark, he just wants some attention.” You scooted over a bit, leaving some room between you two. “Come here, boy.”
Clark whined as you pulled away from him. “Oh, come on!”
You patted the small space. “He just wants some morning cuddles, isn’t that right, boy?” Krypto excitedly jumped over Clark and snuggled into the spot, getting comfortable under the sheets. You gently brushed his hair with your fingers.
“I want some morning cuddles too.” Clark pouted as he reached out for you, his arm resting over Krypto. “I can’t believe I let you convince me to let him stay here for the week.”
“I didn’t want him to be lonely, and besides, he’s a good boy.” Krypto cuddled deeper into you.
“Yeah, a good boy around you. You should see him when it’s just us two. He nearly destroyed the fortress the last time I took care of him.” Krypto opened his eyes to look at Clark as if to say ‘shut it’.
“Well, he’s not destroying anything here. He just needs some training and love. Plus, look at his cute face! You can’t say no to him.” You patted his head.
“My problem isn’t saying no to him. It’s saying no to you that I can’t do.” He reached over to place another kiss on your lips. Krypto, following Clark’s lead, popped up to place a kiss of his own on your cheek.
And so began your morning cuddle puddle every time you had the pleasure of babysitting. Clark pretended to hate it, but you heard the way he would baby talk when he thought you were still sleeping.
Waking up next to Clark was a privilege, and Krypto was a sweet little bonus.
a/n: i’ve been working on writing a unexpectedly long johnny storm fic but have been busy with work and school (and writers block) but i wanted to get something short and sweet out. i’ve been super into clark kent and thought this little idea was sweet. hope you like it.
You loved waking up to the sound of rain, especially on a day like this.
The leaves were beginning to fall, a crisp breeze filled the air, and most importantly, you and Steve had the day off.
It was the kind of day that made you grateful for the beautiful relationship you had formed with such a wonderful man.
His arm was wrapped around your waist as you lay on his chest; you were tangled in a perfect embrace. As you shifted, his body immediately responded and held you even closer.
“Mhhhm.” He let out a deep groan and began to wake. “Don’t tell me you’re trying to run away from me already,” the always charming Steve said in his sexy morning voice.
“Good morning, Stevie,” you responded as he gently kissed the top of your head. Both his arms wrapped fully around your waist as he pulled you up to straddle him.
“Good morning, baby,” he pulled you in to give him his owed good morning kiss.
The two of you lazed in bed for a while as you woke up. You shared gentle kisses and spoke about the nonsensical dreams you had the night before. You only got up when the hunger in Steve’s stomach finally made itself known.
“That’s our cue. I’m thinking pancakes, what do you think?” You looked into his eyes, waiting for his answer.
“I think that sounds amazing.” He sat up and kissed you on the nose before you got off. The two of you headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
“You make the eggs and bacon, and I start on the pancakes and chop the fruit?” You looked at him as you headed down the stairs.
“Sounds like a plan.”
You maneuvered around each other in the kitchen as you prepared the meal, giving each other quick kisses every chance you got. You wrapped your arms around him as the pancakes cooked, your head pressing against his toned back. He leaned against you, pressing one of his arms on top of yours. “I love you, Steve.” You kissed his back, and he brought your hand up to his lips to leave a kiss of his own.
“I love you too, baby.”
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
“That was so good, thank you for the delicious pancakes.” He got up to collect the plates, placing a kiss on your lips before he went to wash them.
“No, Steve, let me do the dishes this time! You did the harder part of making breakfast.” You tried to protest, following behind him to the kitchen. He was already starting to run them under the water and was reaching for the sponge.
“Nope. I’m doing them, I am insisting.” He held the sponge above your reach, and you got up on your tiptoes as you tried to grab for it with no success. “I want you to go sit your pretty butt down and pick out a rainy day movie for us to watch. And bring out the cozy blanket.” You couldn’t lie, that got you immediately excited, so you quickly gave up and did just as he said.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
You loved Steve, you really did, but watching movies with him was impossible sometimes.
You were lying out on the couch with Steve’s head on your chest, the blanket on top of both of you.
“What’s this movie about again?”
“Why would that be the essay topic for detention?”
“Holy shit, I can’t believe he got through the vent!”
“So, why are they called the Breakfast Club exactly?”
He loved to talk through movies, and you loved to hear him talk, so really it wasn’t the worst. It mostly made you laugh, and every time you would tell him to just wait and watch the movie, he would give you a cute pout. You could never resist and gave him a little peck. Talking through movies together was one of those things that, with anyone else, would usually drive you crazy, but with Steve, it felt like a part of the fun.
“You pick the next one and I’ll get some snacks!” You got up to rummage around the kitchen for whatever you could find. When you came back, he was going through the cabinets, looking through the VHSs you guys had rented earlier in the week, until he decided on one. Of course, he had picked Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It was a classic Steve-type movie. The first time you watched it in theaters, he could stop talking about how much he loved it, obviously relating to the character.
He plopped back down on the couch, but this time it was your turn to lie on his chest.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
After a few movies, it was now starting to get dark out. It felt early, but that was the trade-off during the autumn season. You and Steve were putting together a puzzle as a mix tape you had put together played in the background. It was a compilation of love songs you had gifted him for your anniversary last year. It felt like the perfect backdrop for the night.
“Have you seen a piece that’s a little blue and a little yellow that kinda looks like a guy with a big body and a small head?” He had a very intense look of concentration on his face; he bit his lip a little as he scanned the pieces laid out on the coffee table. You giggled at how cute he was, but you helped.
“Oh! I think I found it! Is it this one?” You grabbed the piece and held it out for him to test out. He snapped it into place with a satisfied look on his face.
“Yes! God, I was looking for that for so long. You’re amazing!” He gently tackled you onto the floor as he covered your face in kisses. You giggled, wrapping your arms around his neck.
“It was just a puzzle piece, Steve!” You soaked up the kisses now.
“I know, but you’re still amazing, and I want to remind you that you’re amazing every chance I can.” You felt pure bliss; you couldn’t believe he was so perfect. You recognized how lucky you were to be with someone so obviously in love with you.
You left the puzzle behind as you lay on the carpeted floor and made out sweetly and breathlessly, occasionally exchanging ‘I love yous’ and sweet nothings.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
The night was officially reaching its end, but the rain was still pouring outside. It was past 8 pm, and the two of you had ordered Chinese food. As you ate, music filled the room and you chatted about anything that came to mind. Conversations with him were always so easy; they flowed naturally with no end.
You got up and made a large sundae to share for dessert. It had three different flavors and all of the indulgent toppings you could find. Sprinkles, chocolate chips, strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, and maraschino cherries formed a mound in the bowl.
Steve took two of the cherries and popped the stems off, giving one to you. You always raced to see who could tie it into a knot quicker, but this time he won, which, according to the rules that he made up, meant he got the last bite of ice cream.
As you turned to Steve to give the last spoonful, he quickly took the can of whipped cream and sprayed some on the tip of your nose, laughing as you gave him a shocked look on your face.
You quickly put the bowl down and shot your hand out to snatch the whipped cream away. Suddenly, whipped cream started flying. Before you knew it, the can was empty, you were both covered, and loud laughter filled the room. You were both a sticky mess; even his perfect hair stood up in all sorts of directions.
You felt like you couldn’t breathe from laughing so hard, and you looked at his gorgeous, beaming face. You noticed a glob on his neck. You moved up and licked it off of him. “Yum, tasty,” you giggled teasingly.
“You drive me crazy.” He laughed back, holding you by the waist now. “But god, we’re a mess.”
“I know! We’re gonna have to do rock, paper, scissors for the shower.” You said, looking up at him. Just then, he got a devilish look on his face.
“I think I have a better idea.” Before you knew it, he grabbed you by the arm and he tugged you out the door and into the pouring rain.
“Oh my god! What are you doing, Steve!” you yelled over the rain with a smile.
“I’m getting us cleaned up!” He let go and started jumping around in the rain, running across the yard. You couldn't help but partake in the fun, and you started chasing him. You ran around for a bit, jumping in puddles, and spinning each other around, until you both found yourselves lying down on the grass for a while, just soaking up the moment.
The song La Vie en Rose by Louis Armstrong began to play over the rain. Steve got up and stood above you as he held his hands out to you. “May I have this dance?”
You blushed at his romantic gesture. “You may.” You reached out, and your body molded itself into his. His warm embrace made you forget all about the chilly rain that pelted your skin. You instantly wrapped your arms around his neck. He pressed his forehead to yours, and you were both dripping, but neither one of you cared.
He began to slow dance with you in the rain, as he hummed along to the song. You have never felt such love for someone. He was the most incredible partner you could ask for. “I am completely in love with you,” and before he could respond, you kissed him passionately. You’re both in complete bliss now.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
As you both got out of the steaming shower, you changed into some pajamas and got ready for bed. You didn’t want this day to end, knowing that you both would have to go to work in the morning .
As you brushed your teeth, you looked at him in the mirror. He still had some drops of water on his bare chest, and a towel hung around his waist. He looked so cute with a little bit of toothpaste coming out from the corner of his mouth.
Eventually, you headed into bed as he went to turn the lights off. He lied down and pulled you toward him, wrapping you up in his arms. Bliss.
You gave each other your final kisses for the night.
“Good night, baby. I love you.”
“Goodnight, Stevie. I love you.”
It was the perfect end to the perfect rainy day with the perfect man.
a/n: i wanted to write something with pure fluff (although there a suggestive normal couple moments). I feel like i don't see them enough, so i hope this satisfies everyone who is looking for this kind of thing.
It was way past closing at Family Video, and you and Steve had been scheduled for an overnight shift to do inventory.
It felt like a huge waste of time since inventory was just taken last month, but the holiday season was coming up, and your manager, Keith, said, “We could never be too sure,” so you complied. You had spent a few hours sorting and counting through the stock on the floor, which went by quicker than expected. Steve was in the backroom counting through the backstocked tapes and merchandise. You could hear the quiet hum of the radio leaking through the thin walls; the song Don’t You Want Me by The Human League played.
The repetitive task quickly became boring and you needed a distraction, so who better to bother than the only other person trapped in here with you? Steve and you had grown close over the past year. You were undeniably attracted to him; his charm was what initially drew you in, but when you really got to know him, you couldn't help but love his dorky side even more.
Sneaking into the backroom, you could see Steve doing a little shimmy and singing along to the song. You smiled as he flailed around. This was definitely much more fun than sorting through a bunch of tapes. The song came to an end, and you clapped at the performance.
“Jesus Christ! What the hell!” He put a hand up to his heart, “How long have you been standing there for?!” His cheeks were red from being caught. He was wearing a pair of sweat pants and a tight-fitting white T-shirt, which unfortunately accentuated his muscular torso. You were both out of uniform since there weren’t exactly any customers around. His eyes scanned your body, which was clad in a pair of sweats that hung below your hips and a tank that rode up your torso, but he quickly went back to his tapes.
“Long enough. You know you put on a good show?” You said, giggling as you went down to sit next to him on the floor. You looked at him, admiring how perfectly balanced his face was. His strong features were contrasted with his soft eyes that always pulled you in.
“Shut up. And quit staring, or I might just think you have a crush on me.” He rolled his eyes, but pink still tinged his cheeks. “Aren’t you supposed to be out there counting, and not back here making fun of me?” He said as he jotted something down on the inventory sheet.
You ignored his comment, “I got bored.” You pout your lips, dragging out the word bored. Steve looks at your mouth momentarily, but pulls his eyes away and places them back on the paper. “And you have provided me with much more entertainment already. Plus, I’m basically done; it’s not exactly Blockbuster out there. I just gotta clean up.”
“You finished already?” He was looking at you, eyes raised, not quite believing you. “Are you sure? When I did it last a few months ago, it took me way longer than that.” He turned his body to look at your small figure, arms crossed at his chest, and his muscles tensed under his shirt.
“Well…”You said, looking down at the floor.
“Well what, princess?” He looked confused before he got a twinkle in his eye, “Let me guess.” He smirked now as you looked back up at him. His eye contact made you squirm. “You haven’t counted the adult section, have you?” He had a full-blown grin on his face now.
It was your turn for your face to go red. “Not exactly, but in my defense, I peaked!” You were embarrassed; it’s not like it’s anything you haven’t seen or even done before, but something about being in the vicinity of Steve and even looking at those suggestive covers made you nervous.
“Oh, come on, don’t tell me it makes you nervous.” He let out a chuckle as he talked, like he could read your mind. “Don’t get all shy on me now, it’s just the human body. It’s natural.”
“I’m not nervous, I just got bored before I could get to it!” It was a tiny white lie, but you didn’t want to tell him the truth. You couldn’t tell him that being in that room made you a little hot, especially with him in the general vicinity. You couldn’t tell him that those tapes made your mind wander to all of the dirty things Steve could do with his hands. You could tell him that your skin was hot just thinking about it if it were you and him and one of those movies.
“Listen, I’ll tell you what. I’m basically done here.. I just have to put some of these back on the shelf, then we can go in there together.” Great. Your eyes got wide. He was already moving all of the tapes back up onto their designated shelves.
“No!” It came out a little more frantic than you would have liked. “No, that’s okay, Steve. You’re right, I should be doing that instead of bothering you.” You were trying hard to get out of this one. There was no way you could be that close to him as you sorted and looked through those dirty movies.
“Don’t worry about it. Besides, I’m done here, and maybe if we finish in time, we could both go home early.” Shit, there was no backing out of this now. He gathered the radio and his papers, and you both headed back out and into the small room. You walked through the velvet curtains and were met with red neon lights and small spotlights pointing only at the shelves.
“Jesus, you think they would have put some brighter lights in here? I can hardly see.” Steve put down the radio. He hit play on the already inserted tape. The Night by Fleetwood Mac came on, and the quiet melody of Big Love flooded the room; it was one of your favorite albums. You wondered if he knew that.
Your breath practically left your body as you entered, already dreading this. The room was small, like really small. It was more like a glorified closet. It didn’t help that each wall was lined with a rather large shelf, making the space feel even smaller than it already was. “If it were brighter, then it wouldn’t hide the embarrassment of being in here in broad daylight, would it?” You said playing it cool.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right. How about you start on this wall and I’ll start on that one.” He sat down on the floor, getting ready to track all of the tapes on the bottom of the shelves first. You sat with your back to him, doing the same. You could feel the warmth of his body on your back, not quite touching but feeling every time he shifted, or even took a deep breath.
Occasionally, Steve or you would turn to each other to hand the other a missed place tape that needed to go on the right shelf, and each time his fingers brushed yours. Maybe it was just being in this room, but he was driving you crazy tonight. Something felt different between the two of you. You made small talk about anything that came to mind, trying to distract yourself from the dirty thoughts that tried to make their way into your brain. “You know I didn’t take you for a big Fleetwood Mac fan, Harrington.”
“Yeah, I didn’t use to be until I heard a little birdy playing it at Robins a few months ago.” You could hear the smile in his voice.
It had been one of those magical summer nights. It was a small get-together since Robin's parents were out of town. She planned a small sleepover before the summer came to an end. She was staying in her parents' room, Jonathan and Nancy would stay in one of the guest rooms, Eddie was staying in the living room, Steve was staying in her older sister's old empty room, and you would stay in her room.
You all sat around the backyard fire pit after a fun-filled afternoon of playing games, drinking, smoking, and laughing. You all drunkenly talk about anything and everything that comes to mind for hours. You had inserted Tango in the Night and it played softly in the background over and over. It felt like the perfect backdrop to a perfect summer's night. You remember that night fondly, just as his voice pulled you out of your head.
“You know the next day I went out and bought it.” You don’t know why, but a blush came to your face, suddenly grateful that the room was drenched in red. It felt so intimate to hear him say that, knowing that he noticed something so small.
“Really?” You said in a hushed tone, trying to focus on the tapes in front of you, a scantily dressed couple stared back at you. Oh god, maybe don’t focus on those either.
“Yeah, really. Sometimes I play it at night when I can’t fall asleep. I don’t know, it just relaxes me.” He confessed, and you could feel him shifting behind you as he moved some tapes around.
You started thinking about that night after everyone went to bed.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
One by one, they each disappeared until it was just you and Steve left. He got up to move to the seat closest to you. He looked so effortlessly beautiful in the light of the fire. He had a dazed look in his eyes, no doubt due in part to the beer and pot in his system. He held your gaze for a moment before saying anything. A faint orange glow illuminated his features.
“I want to-I never apologized to you for being such an asshole a few years ago.” He looked at you with a sincere expression, but you let him talk. “I regret it every day, and I'm sorry. I know I can’t make up for it now, but I’ll kick myself for the rest of my life if I don’t at least try.”
“Steve, I forgave you for that a long time ago. You’re different now. We’re all different now. Don’t worry about that.” You looked at him, pulling the blanket around you as the breeze started to cool down.
“I know it’s just…I was so stupid. And you were-are so…you. You’ve always been so confident and funny and intelligent and kind and beautiful. I guess it just made me jealous that I couldn’t express myself the way you did.” Beautiful. Your heart was pounding so hard you could hear it in your ears. Your face was probably bright red, but you were just hoping he was too drunk to notice.
“Steve…”He stopped you.
“I’m being serious, I know you said you forgave me, but I haven’t forgiven myself. I promise I’ll make it up to you.” He looked deep into the dwindling fire now, thinking about all of the snide remarks her made throughout high school.
“Thank you, Steve. I really appreciate it.” You sat in a comfortable silence as your mind repeated the word beautiful over and over in your head as you sat there for a moment longer.
You couldn't help but let out a soft yawn. “I think that’s our cue to go to bed.” You looked over at him; his eyes were heavy. You both got up, and you walked over to stop the music from playing. You slowly walked through the sliding door and walked up the stairs to your respective rooms, trying not to wake Eddie as he sprawled out on the rather large couch cushions.
The rooms were facing each other. Before you walked through your door, Steve stopped you, grabbing your upper arm. “Hey, princess?” He whispered as he looked down into your eyes; you could feel the tension between you.
“Yeah, Steve?” Then he pulled you in for a hug, the kind that made you never want to let go. “Thank you for being in my life, even after I've been a huge asshole, and thank you for believing in me.” His arms wrapped around your torso, and your arms wrapped around his neck. As you pulled back, your faces stopped right in front of each other. You could feel his warm breath on your face. You almost swore that he looked down at your lips and was about to lean in, but just as fast as the moment began, it ended. He let you go, and before you could turn back, he gave you a soft kiss on your cheek.
“Goodnight, princess.” He left out a breathy whisper.
“Goodnight, Steve.” You whispered back as you walked to the room and closed the door, unable to fully tear your eyes away from his face. You leaned back against the shut door, sliding down. If your face wasn’t red before, it surely was now. Your body felt electric. The sudden touch and kiss made your body light up. For the rest of the night, you couldn't get his face out of your brain, and you dozed off thinking of him.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Your mind was clouded now. You were both standing up, looking at the tapes on the top shelf. God, those didn’t help either. “Okay, I’m done with this shelf, and it looks like we are only missing one.” He looked at his sheet. “I feel like I remember this being checked out like three months ago.” His voice grounded you back into reality.
“Jesus, 3 months?! Which one is it? Let’s hear it,” you said, trying to shake the last of the memory.
“It’s called Angel of Passion. You know what, I feel like I remember the guy that checked it out, too.” He was writing something down on the inventory paper. “I mean, yeah, I get being a few days late, but 3 months?! I’m not sure we’re actually gonna want that tape back.” He joked.
“I think I remember that too.” You happened to be working that shift together. “Wasn’t it that really sweaty guy? I rang him out for that rental.” You said, turning around now to face Steve after you finished up your section.
“Yeah, I think it was. He was such a creep. The way he kept looking at you gave me the chills.” He looked at you and shivered, playing up the bit as you laughed at his exaggerated body movements.
“Yes, exactly! And he kept ‘adjusting’ his pants.” You made air quotes with your fingers. “I couldn’t wait for him to get out. Thank god you were there, or else I don’t know what I would have done.” You laughed at the memory.
“I wouldn’t ever let anything happen to you, you know.” Be looked at you sincerely.
“I know Steve. Thanks.” You smiled back at him, “But I mean, how good could that movie really be? The plot must be incredible, some real A-list acting.” You joked.
“Yeah. He's probably only kept it this long because he loves the cinematography.” He played along with you, grinning. He looked down at his paper. “Well, it must be good because we actually have two copies of this movie. Let’s see what it’s all about.” Steve took the tape off the shelf, looking at the cover. It showed two women dressed up in suggestive angel costumes and one overly enthusiastic man with a porn ‘stach. “The back says, ‘Two angels are sent back to Earth to provide some sexual satisfaction to the mortal humans.’ So…that sounds like wholesome time.” He laughed.
You couldn’t help but blush at the concept. Your mind wandered back to Steve and his big hands, wondering how they could feel touching the most intimate places on your body. You could feel the heat in your cheeks deepen now. He looked at you after reading the back, and he obviously noticed the deep red color emanating from your face. “Don’t get all shy on me again, princess. Like I said, it’s natural. Hell, maybe I’ll rent it next.” He let out a laugh, joking, but you couldn't help but inhale sharply.
Your mind began to imagine Steve touching himself as he watched the dirty movie, but before you could spiral too far, you cut your own brain off and blurted out, “Maybe we can watch it together and see if it’s actually a cinematic masterpiece.” You mentally slapped yourself as you quickly realized how suggestive that sounded. Even Steve was mildly speechless.
“You never cease to amaze me,” was all he said before he pushed the tape back into the proper slot. He looked like he was shifting around more, but you ignored it, trying not to think about it too much and become even more embarrassed than you already were.
As you went to turn back around and work on the next shelf, Steve did the same. You both began to sort through the tapes. Just as you were getting back into the rhythm, Mystified came on. You couldn’t help but become even more aware of the small space you both occupied. You started to really look at the covers of the tapes as you accounted for each one. You felt the warmth in your body begin to grow.
It felt like each tape got more vulgar than the next, and you couldn’t help but think of Steve’s soft lips on your cheek. You felt like the heat in the room began to grow, and your breath became slightly shallower. You remember the feeling of Steve's large arms wrapped around your waist and how it felt to be engulfed by him.
You couldn’t help but swallow hard. You slightly squeezed your legs together, trying to placate the heat growing inside of you. It felt like the energy in the room took a sharp turn and shifted into a whole new direction. Instead of light and playful, it felt more intense. That’s when you felt Steve move behind you.
“You know… I meant everything I said that night.” His chest was practically pressed against your back; only a few inches separated the two of you, and you turned around to face him. You could feel your heart in your throat.
“What?” Your voice came out more helpless than you wanted it to, but how could it not when Steve was here, looking at you standing this close to you?
“You know what I’m talking about.” He placed a hand on your waist, the heat instantly making you lose your mind. You couldn’t help but turn around now. Looking up, you stared into his big brown eyes. His perfect hair was perfectly messy; he didn’t bother to do it, and you loved how it looked even more as it fell over his forehead and slightly over his eyes. You looked down, unable to hold eye contact any longer. He put his hand under your chin. “You are so incredibly beautiful,” he whispered it almost like he was talking to himself.
He took another step, word you getting even closer. “Steve, I don’t-” you feel like you couldn't breathe.
“You don’t have to say anything. Just listen.” He dropped both his hands to your waist. “Every time I looked over at you, my stomach would do back flips, and god, every time you laughed, I felt weightless. I know I was drunk, but I meant everything I said. You are the funniest, most intelligent, and incredibly kind-hearted woman I have ever met in my life. After we went up to the rooms, I wanted to kiss you so bad. I was building up the courage to do it, but I chickened out. I didn’t want to ruin this amazing friendship that we have built, but I don’t think I can keep going and pretending like I don’t have these feelings for you. God, I wanted to kiss you. I still want to kiss you.” He looked into your eyes, waiting for you to do or say something, anything.
“Then kiss me.” That was all the permission Steve needed before his lips attached to yours. The kiss was slow and passionate; he wasn’t in a rush, and neither were you. Your hands moved up to the back of his neck, and your fingers tangled in his hair, gently playing with his soft strands.
He slowly pushed your back onto the shelf as his hand roamed your waist. You only pulled back to catch your breath. You couldn’t help but look up and smile; his gaze was already trained on you. He looked at you like you were the only two left in this world. Without another word, he pulled you back in, but this time he deepened the kiss. He licked and gently nipped at your bottom lip as you opened your mouth to accept his tongue. You could feel the immense heat radiating off his body as you gently leaned up against him, trying to get as close as possible. With that, he released a gentle and heavenly moan from his lips. “Shit, princess, you can’t do that or I won’t be able to control myself.” You felt like your knees were going to give out at any moment.
He whispered into your mouth breathlessly. You could feel the desperation now. As things began to get more heated, he pushed harder against your body. “I don’t know how I’ve been able to last this long without kissing you. I’ve been dreaming about this for years now.” He practically groaned into your pouty, swollen lips.
Your fingers pulled harder into his hair in response. You needed him badly. As he rocked against you, you could feel his bulge through the fabric of his sweatpants. He moved down your arms and raised your hands above your head, turning up the heat and kissing down your neck. As he kissed and rocked against you, suddenly a few tapes from the top shelf came tumbling down onto your heads.
“Fuck.” you said in unison, rubbing the spot where they landed. You both looked at each other and laughed. Everything felt so surreal; you couldn’t believe you were here with Steve doing this. After the moment of laughter passed, he held your face and looked deeply into your eyes.
“I have had the biggest crush on you for years.” His eyes looked like they were begging.
“Really?” You looked back up with your eyebrows knit together. You then bring your hand up to meet one of his and wrap your fingers around his, gently taking it off of your face. “Well, l I guess we’re both in luck, because I have had a crush on you since before you knew I existed.” You bring his hand up to your mouth as you place a general, warm kiss onto the palm of his hand.
He takes a moment, looking speechless. He had never felt anything so gentle and perfect before. “I really, really like you.” He brings his lips up to your cheeks and begins to drown your face in gentle kisses. Anywhere there was exposed skin, he kissed. You felt like you were in heaven now; your body felt weightless. The feeling of warmth radiated throughout your entire body, and his mouth left hot, tantalizing trails as he kissed all the way down your neck until he pulled back.
He placed one more gentle kiss on your lips, and his hands made their way back on your face. His thumb played with your swollen lower lip. You couldn’t help but smile and blush; you felt like you could collapse from the weight of his gaze alone. You gently wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled his face towards yours, resting your forehead on his.
“I really, really like you too,” You said breathlessly. “Ever since that night at Robin's, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about your lips.” You admitted shyly. “And tonight in the stupid room, I’ve felt like I was gonna die this whole time.” Taking a moment to look at the low-lit, explicit setting you were in, contrasted with the gentle kisses and touches, made you laugh.
“How did you think I felt, the princess? God, every time you brushed against me, I felt like I was on the edge of diving off a cliff. I’m so glad I gave in, and I’m so glad I’m here with you. Even if we are in the stupid room,” he nuzzled his face into yours slightly. “What do you say we get out of here. We can clean up and put everything away, then we can go. We only have about two hours left anyway.” She started to pull back a little bit.
“Yeah, I would like that.” You hesitated for a second. “Do you maybe… want to come over to my house? My parents are out of town for the week.” You were almost embarrassed to ask, realizing how that sounded, but you didn’t care anymore. You just wanted him.
“I would love that. Maybe we can pick up breakfast on the way and take a movie from this place.” He smiled at you, obvious excitement flooding your face. He placed one last kiss on your mouth, and you two began to clean up.
After half an hour, you were finally done, and it was almost 5 in the morning. The sun hadn’t peeked out yet, but you know it would soon enough. Steve started to lock everything up before you both headed to his car. He had picked you up since you were on the way.
As you buckled in, he turned his body towards you, put a hand on your covered thigh, and squeezed. “Ready to go?” He said before he leaned in for a kiss.
“Yeah, I’m ready,” you smiled back, kissing him.
After he started up his car and turned on the heater, he pulled a familiar cassette from out of his jacket pockets and pushed it into the player of his car.
The sounds of Tango in the Night started all over again. “I lied when I said I only listen to this when I can’t sleep. I also put it on when I want to think of you, when I can't stop thinking of you. You bring me a sense of peace I never even thought I could feel.”
You couldn’t help but laugh out of pure joy. “You are going to be the death of me, Steve Harrington.” You smirked as you brought a hand up to his hair to push the fallen strands out of his eyes.
“You are way behind, princess. I’ve been done for since I laid eyes on you,” he intertwined his hand with yours and kissed your palm before he backed out of the space and headed home.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
All of the food was quickly demolished. The Princess Brides played out as you and Steve were tangled up in a blanket on the couch. You were extremely aware of his large hand playing with the skin of your waist as you leaned against him. The movie was mostly spent on stolen kisses and sweet nothings being whispered into each other's ears.
You felt so free being able to give in to your desire for him, and as the touches and kisses went on, you started to want to give in to all of them. And you decided to let yourself fall into him completely. Your kisses began to get more aggressive as you crawled into his lap. He wrapped his arms around your waist, and you tugged his hair and the small of his neck. You couldn't help but grind on his lap. You wanted to get physically closer to him, but you also wanted to tease him. “Fuck, you know exactly what that's doing to me,” he groaned into your mouth, never pulling back. You could almost feel his heart beat against his chest, but then again, maybe that was yours.
Before things could get even more heated, he looked into your eyes, “Are you sure you wanna do this with me?” You smiled at the sincere question; he just wanted to make sure you felt comfortable. “Yes, of course I'm sure, Steve. I want to do everything with you.” He beamed as you leaned back into him.
You could feel the hardness in his pants against your hot core. You were so needy and desperate for friction. You moaned in pure pleasure, your hands wandered his chest, and his hands wandered yours. He plamed your breast through the thin fabric of your tank top. Your nipples were peeking out, and he began to play with them.
He suddenly pulled away, and his hands moved under your thighs. As he sat up, he hoisted you up with ease. He started walking up the stairs, and you left a love bite just below his ear; you could hear his low growl in response. He was making his way over to your room.
When he got there, he closed the door behind him with his foot and pressed you up against it. “After you closed the door that night, I couldn't sleep. I regretted not kissing you on the mouth and taking you like I wanted to. I stayed up all night and touched myself to the thought of your pretty pussy wrapped around my cock.” He said between the kisses he littered on your face, neck, and chest. You moaned at the thought, imagining his needy face as he fucked his hand. Your core was already dripping, but now he pushed you over the edge. You might go crazy if you couldn't have him inside of you now.
“I need you to fuck me, Steve. I need you so fucking bad,” you pleaded. He walked you over to the bed and placed you down on the edge gently. He quickly removed his shirt, leaving his grey sweats hanging off his hips. You couldn't help but stare at his perfectly toned and tanned chest and arms. Everything about him was perfect.
“While I would love you fuck you like an animal, I want to take my time this time.” He was torturing you. He kissed down your chest and pulled up your shirt over your head, fully revealing your torso. He took a nipple in his mouth as his hand played with the other. He then agonizingly kissed past your belly button. He brought his hand to the waistband of your sweats and pulled them off, leaving you completely bare.
He sat between your legs and slowly pulled them apart, “Shit, princess, you're so wet for me already.” You couldn't help but blush, feeling so exposed but so safe with him. He kissed and bit each thigh as you pulled on his hair.
“Oh my god. Steve, please stop teasing me.” You said you felt like you were going to explode, he laughed, knowing what he was doing.
Until suddenly he licked a strip up your cunt. “You taste so fucking good. So sweet,” he grunted. His tongue worked expertly, and he licked and sucked your clit. You could feel yourself cleaning, needing relief, and something to wrap around, just as he slipped a finger in your pussy. He pumped in and slipped in another finger. He slightly curved them, hitting your G-spot. You moaned loudly and messily now; you needed the feeling of him inside of you. You couldn't wait any longer, and you pulled on his hair, forcing his face up to yours. He let out a moan, liking the needy behavior.
“Sorry princess, was I teasing too much?” He said, his voice dripping in sarcasm. You smashed your lips on his as you reached down to his rock-hard cock, stroking through his sweats. You could taste yourself on his warm breath, and it only turned you on more. You pulled his sweats down, releasing his cock. It was big, bigger than you have ever had. The tip was screaming red, and you could see pearls of pre-cum at the top. Your finger swept out the top, and you brought it to your mouth, tasting the little bit of him that you could get, staring into his eye. He moaned, watching you be filthy. His pupils were blown, looking almost completely black now. His mouth was slightly parted. “Now you're just being cruel,” you could help but laugh in pleasure.
He quickly reached down to his abandoned sweats and grabbed the condom from his wallet. He rolled it on like he was an expert.
He moved on top, and you could feel his cock press against your pussy. He stroked himself between your warm folds, back and forth. You couldn't breathe, being filled with pure pleasure. “God, you're incredible.” He said as he pushed into you, “Fuck, you're so fucking tight, so fucking wet.” He moaned, leaning in to kiss you. You moaned back into his mouth as he began to move and slowly pushed in deeper. He threw your legs over his shoulder as he found the perfect rhythm to fuck you to.
“Oh god, Steve! Yes!” you yelled out. He moved expertly, each time he hit your most sensitive spot. He brought his hand down to your clit as he made small circles around your sensitive nub. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head, unable to control yourself any longer, and you felt a knot in your stomach building. “Steve, I'm gonna- “ you said breathlessly, unable to get the words out.
“I know, princess, me too.” You pressed his forehead into yours. “Cum for me, please, princess.” He begged now.
That was all it took as you squeezed around his cock, electricity flooded your body. At the same time, Steve let out the most helpless moan you've ever heard as he came. He pulled out of you and hovered over you as you both breathed heavily. His skin glowed, and you could help but appreciate him. “You're so beautiful,” you pulled him towards you as you gave him a gentle kiss. He rolled off and moved towards the top of the bed. He motioned for you to lie on his chest, and you complied. You pressed your ear against his chest, listening to the beat of his heart.
He interlocks your hands with his and plays with your fingers. You were both in heaven, pure bliss hung in the air. “You got it wrong earlier.”You looked up at him.
“What do you mean?”
“Earlier, when you said you've had a crush on me since before I knew you existed. I've always known you existed; I always noticed you. You somehow crawled under my skin and made a special place in my soul. I could never shake the thought of you. Even when I was with other people. I guess I was too much of an asshiole to realize what I was really feeling.”
He made small circles on your lower back, and you gave him a gentle kiss. “You can't even begin to understand how much I care about you,” he said softly.
You sat up a bit and held his face in your palms, “I have been crazy for you since the day I saw you, pretty boy. You make me feel so safe and so seen. You really have become my best friend over the past year. I couldn't ask for a more special person to share all of this with. Thank you for being so amazing.” You kissed him on each cheek, his nose, and then his mouth.
His face was pink, and he stared into your soul. “I am so in love with you.” He let it out, almost like he couldn't hold it back any longer.
For the hundredth time in the past 8 hours, you felt like you couldn't breathe, “I'm so in love with you.” You said back to him. Your lips met in a passionate kiss, and your limbs tangled into each other. The rest of the early morning was spent in kisses and touches until sleep took over.
You were in complete bliss as you sank into the warm embrace of the only man you had ever dreamt of loving.
