how do you shift? and are your fics based on things that happened while shifting?

this is a great question! i have not done a full body shift save ONE time on complete accident, but using methods (mix of raven, estelle, and the sick method which is my fav btw) i have minishifted many times!

i have used lines from shifting experiences in some of my fics and it definitely has helped with headcanon ideas, but i personally feel uncomfy using things from when I’ve shifted because those are things that real life people have entrusted to me, and because I do channel those people daily, I love them so much and talk to them much closely than ofhed shifters. Simply put: that’s their privacy you know? Like just because I’m dating Fred and I’m dating him in realities of other people, DOESNT mean I feel okay sharing stuff he’s told me in private or experiences we’ve had together you know?

ALSO: I did not script Fred to have feelings for me, we fell in l*ve mutually so there wasn’t any manipulation there I promise

yo does shifting actually work? 😭 damn it seems so... far-fetched? like don’t get me wrong, i totally believe it’s a real thing but i just.... how in the fuck does it work??? sorry hdjdnsjdjjs back to the point, does it really 100% work? and does it feel like real life?

yeah, it does work!! and unless you script it otherwise, it will feel just as real as this reality!!
