Brian the builder requires a weekly remedial massage to help combat work-related muscle tension and stiffness. Today he's booked in for an hour length back and neck rub with someone new. He's thinking maybe he should have taken off his boots in case the therapist has time to work on his feet? "I guess they could take them off for me," he says.

"Hope my socks don't stink up the room too much," Brian says to himself. "Probably shouldn't have worn the same three layers all week."

When Gerard walked into his favourite barber shop he was surprised to discover a temporary fill-in for his usual barber, Don, who was away on holidays. When Gerard said his usual thing to the barber : "I need it short enough that it doesn't get in my way at work", he wasn't expecting the barber to take it all.

Sometimes he lets his hair grow out, as much as he can tolerate. But then his ex-military background kicks in and it's off to see his favourite barber, Merv, for an extreme cut.
