Why is it so hard to find black cosplayers who cosplay Velvette?! I've seen them in tiktok comps but why can't I find them individually? Hello???? (It's always hard to find black cosplayers. The internet loves making it harder for obvious reasons)

I wonder if any cosplay her new outfits. Lmk if there is a way to find them outside of tiktok (if you can)

Ngl that one storyboarder wouldn't have been a problem if everything else about the show just was...different. if they treated sexual abuse seriously, not as a gag, actually had good writing, and wasn't so impulsive on what to do. Like, someone having a rape fetish (which, I'ma be real, from what I've seen, sounds more like a kink) can still seperate how they engage with their fantasies vs from how they engage in reality.

But if the rest of the show is still disrespectful towards its audience (and isn't "tagged" properly) then it won't really matter.

Feel bad for rape and fellow sexual assault victims. Can't imagine how fucking disrespected they feel

I agree! The show treating these topics as jokes seems to be the main reason a lot of fans and ex-fans have an issue with the storyboard artist.

It is so disrespectful and disgusting, and triggering when they use that as a gag in sudden (very harsh) transitions. It's shock value! Also, using SA as shock value does not work like writers or producers intended. Often times it comes off as gratuitous and exploitative, which is the issue victims have a problem with. Sitting through "hazbin humor" felt like torture. I found a few jokes funny and they were completely unrelated to the offensive "jokes" the show is known for. And then fans found the storyboard artist...

The show really set that one up and the artist got blame and hate for the wrong reasons.

I thought Velvette was flat chested this entire time but she isn't apparently. Her design is still amazing, but it would be cool if she was flat. Flat chested women can be fashionistas too!

I just noticed something weird about the merch for helluva boss and hazbin hotel!

Some of the female characters' body shapes/types are different compared to the actual shows!! Why are they built like sticks in the shows but they're accurate-ish to real life body shapes in merchandise??!

So....I watched Hazbin Season 2 and I think Velvette is my new favorite! Unfortunately they ruined Charlie for most of the show imo. She used to be my favorite character during the pilot days.
