But the fact is, we are not only a physical body, we have souls too, and sometimes our souls get sick. i always had my head wrapped around the idea of getting into a wonderful university and getting a good job and getting married and having a family and being able to support them but for some reason now all i want to do is travel and eat new foods and meet new people and get a tan and buy a one way ticket and not come home

This. This. This. Except- maybe I knew all along I didn't just want the university/settle down life. Settling down in terms of getting married was my best decision. Choosing to move to China for a while with him was one of the best decisions we've made so far together.
