[Emily smiled, it all reminded her of Dash and a pain bloomed in her heart. She blinked back tears and dug her nails into her wrist until she was calm. Giggling as the nurses screamed and Collin ran between them all yanking on their scrubs. Lily began trying to braid Eric's hair finally getting mad and pulling on it.] Be nice little one. Boys don't have long hair...go yank on Barkis'.

Emily sighed realizing the older girl wasn’t going to go away. Lily began piling Emily’s hair on top of her head, accidentally pulling on a lock. “Not so hard, Lily!” Emily made a face and glanced up at Victoria. She wanted to help? She had to fight the urge to laugh. “How...

"No." Emily done firmly. "I know who you are. I was talking to Lily." Emily's eyes started to turn white, the form's of Lily and Collin on the floor materializing. "See." Emily relaxed the ghosts returning to their natural state. "I don't need to be watched over...I think Barkis has that covered."

Emily was so accustomed to her ghostly companions she forgot others wouldn't see them It know they're there. So she blinked in surprise at Eric's slight questioning. "Yes, Lily and Collin. They're ghosts." She spoke bluntly but Emily had never been one for lying. "Yes, it's a pleasure." Emily smiled in understanding. "You can cover them. I've been here a few days. Almost died. But this..." She glanced down at her bandages. "I've been in and out of these places for a few months now."
