The beginning of the end for every digital artist
Me and my cousin have an ongoing bit where we pretend we made "slightly better" versions of things where we'll be like.
"That was a pretty good movie, but not as good as my movie, House of 1001 Corpses," or "I guess this song is okay. Kind of reminds me of a song I'm working on called 'Faster Car'."
Never once has it been funny or made anyone but us laugh.
This reminds me of a joke I have with two of my cousins
actually fucking disgusting that glasses cost any money like if you actually think about it for more than a few seconds it is so unconscionably inhumane. this goes for things like insulin and mobility aids and hearing aids too ofc but fuck man, fucking glasses? the thing you need to fucking see? its genuinely sickening and inhumanly evil that those cost ANYTHING.
I love this post because the replies are like "for anyone who doesn't know what nestle did, they benefited from [insert human rights violation here]" but nestle has done SO many fucked up things you get a different topic in every comment
Nestle has:
Drained water from places suffering from drought for absolute pennies.
Made African mothers dependent on their milk formula, which they gave for free, until their milk dried up. Then they required them to purchase it, mothers could not afford it, mixed in too little to fulfill nutrient needs, and mixed it with polluted water. Children died.
Used slavery to produce their cocoa.
Pushed for water to be considered a “want” not a “need” and is at the forefront of arguments that water is not a human right.
Poisoned Chinese infants with melamine in their milk formula.
Demanded Ethiopia pay a debt owed to Nestle, during a FAMINE.
Price-fixed food items.
Contributed to deforestation for their cocoa farming.
The worst thing is, Nestle owns TONS of other brands, making it difficult to avoid for certain products.
Nestlé is LITERALLY the largest food company in the world and have one of the worst track records. Pls avoid their products if you can
Flint, Michigan
They looooove draining springs and then hopping onto the next one.
They are diabolical.
thats not even half of their brands. they own so many things its nearly impossible to avoid them
and a lot of their products are also the cheapest food available, so for many people its not even an option to buy from other companies because they cant afford it. they use slave labor on their coffee plantations as well as cocoa.

this sucks im going to kill (remembers suicide jokes are bad for my mental health) the president of the United States. (end statement)
Could I sell a product called bomb? it wouldn't actually be a bomb it would just be called bomb. Is that okay? you could bring it with you on flights and if TSA asked you what it was, you could say 'its just bomb" for a wee laugh.
hey u missed ur shift on tumblr.com why aren’t u reblogging
I hate targeted ads but I also hate the untargeted gambling & ozempic ads (I dont like gambling and if I lost 10 pounds I'd die of malnutrition) maybe the truth lies somewhere inbetween... all ads are bad
The way people comment about adblock when this post was partially inspired by a bunch of weightloss ads I saw on a real physical subway station
Who's got the gif where a guy helpfully demonstrates how to install adblock on your local train station
@kropotkindersurprise maybe?
good guess!
(from this post)
God I love driving to work at 330 am when I'm flash banged by a digital billboard or advertisements for the 10+ megachurches on the highway
🎶Fuck all advertising! Real or online!🎵
ever since i was a little girl i knew i wanted to deny location sharing and turn off personalized ads and reject all non-essential cookies and not set up siri and face ID
fucked up in the club asking the dj to play flight of the bumblebee
my nothing
idk man when i was a kid i remember a lot of adults saying "if you can read and follow directions, you can cook" so i was like yes i can do these two things. doesn't seem that hard. and it wasn't! so it just always surprises me when i see people of any age who are capable of reading and following directions bemoaning how impossibly hard cooking is. like i know i'm always on this hobbyhorse but it just seems like a lot of people have never developed basic life skills and instead of going "oh wow that's embarrassing, i should learn and catch up" they instead get defensive and turn it into a learned-helplessness thing where they CAN'T POSSIBLY be expected to learn something that's SOOOO HARD. and suddenly somehow we're the oppressors for thinking it's weird that a grown adult can't grill themselves a cheese.
Dahling you simply must read this book! It’s all about this devious little caterpillar who simply gorges himself on all manner of divine things
Ugly Duckling sequel where the swan is like hey it's nobody's fault and I don't think anyone did anything wrong per se but nonetheless I did feel really alienated and depressed for most of my youth and those years do continue to affect me in the present day and their mom is like, so what you're saying is that you think I'm a failure and a bad duck.
hi mutual who’s cooler than me hi hi please don’t shoot me with a gun
