Like i look in the mirror

Like i leave my shoelaces untied

Mindless necessity made manifest

It's very hard to describe

What my relationship with her was like-

The best I could come up with, however, is this:

We were bound, like a dictionary.

Often searching for multiple meanings

And how they change, with regards to

Time, nature and space.

Perfect mastery over each other's language.

What we never realized, however

(Or was it just I who didn't want to realize?)

Is that even dictionaries, just like people

Just like us, run out of words, after all.
