Tja - pünktlich zur Wiesn ist der Herbst gekommen. Wenn Ihr also ein bisschen Spätsommer-Stimmung für's Gemüt braucht, wie wär's mit meinem letzten DJ-Mix? Warme Flächen, relaxte Beats und ein sich gleichmäßig steigernder Groove, mit jeder Menge analogen Synthies dazwischen... Viel Spaß!

Anscheinend hab ich vor zwei Wochen tatsächlich vergessen, meinen Q2-DJ-Mix auf den Blog zu stellen. Sachen gibt's! Tja, da das Quartal quasi eh erst seit gestern vorbei ist, ist er immer noch aktuell :-P Viel Spaß!

Fin'lly, winter is gone, march is over, and it's time for another best-of-DJ-mix! This one starts one a mellow note (with a pop song at 116 bpm, in fact), before going through some krauty, funky disco tracks towards some cleaner House before electro and techno are winning out with +126bpm in the end. Happy new years, anybody! This is the last quarterly best-of-mix for 2015 - boy, what a year it was! Lots of bad stuff happened, but lots of good did too! At least musically speaking... This mix is a journey through poppy, house-y as well as some crazy and techno-y stuff - a lot of ups and downs, just like last year. But the upside is: You can dance to it! In order to get into the right mood for christmas, for this mix I've selected a few beautiful, deep tracks, that take it slow (at first :-)) and lift you up to higher spheres. Enjoy this while decorating your christmas tree, stuffing a duck or preparing presents for your loved ones - it'll all work. Or so I hope... Merry christmas to all of you!

This is part 2 of my quarterly vinyl only DJ mix, autumn '15 edition. Taking it slow at first, it is laid back enough to chill, take a stroll through the park and watch the leaves fall down, but, gaining momentum towards the great finale (it's that Frankey&Sandrino track that won best Ibiza track of the year, but don't tell anyone, I bought the record way earlier), is still driving enough to keep you going through the darker parts of the year. It features tracks from the following labels: Kompakt (yes it does) Pastamusik (still incredible) Kitjen (Wow!) Domino (Would you believe it?) Aroma Pitch (Who? Yeah - das Helena Hauff Boiler Room-Set! Schönes Ding!

Boy, this sure is a hot summer, isn't it? At least where I live... So I thought a do a one-off DJ mix of a bit slower, lounge-y, summery tunes that would not typically find their way in a House set, just because they're more about Jackie Cola than jacking... This mix features tracks by labels Monkeytown, Young Turks, Ruf Dug, Permanent Vacation, Public Possession, Disko B, Have A Killer Time, Live At Robert Johnson, Musica Autonomica, Correspondant, and a white label, and is vinyl only except for the last track which is an itsy bitsy edit I did of a 90s song I liked :-) Have fun in this hot summer, enjoy all the hot parties and cold drinks you can get, and see you again for regular part 3, sometime in early autumn!

So ein heißer Sommer braucht einen coolen DJ-Mix, dacht ich mir, und legte mal ein paar andere Sachen auf... Langweilig ist er trotzdem nicht geworden. Also, find ich. Aber hört selbst :-)

Endlich mal ein Meme, das ich mag - kann natürlich daran liegen, dass es gleich zwei Dinge, die ich nicht mag, gleichzeitig veräppelt :-)

Ein Designer und Entwickler namens Kyle Stetz hat eine coole Beatmaschine entwickelt, indem er einfach allen Tasten der Computertastatur Samples diverser Drum-Maschinen zugeordnet hat. Die Beats, die man damit tippt, klingen so roh wie kräftig, und irgendwie cool. Ausprobieren!
