1:28:46 Tommy Is Alone in Exile with Dream
Tommy: “Guys, how do you know when it’s too much?” [Nobody answers] Sapnap: “No, it’s definitely faster if you Nether travel—” Tommy: “No, no. No one answered. How do you know if you—when it’s too much?” [Nobody answers] Tommy: “Oh.”
58:08 Visiting Dream’s Bunker
Tommy: “You know when people ask you, Ranboo, ‘Say if it’s too much’?” Ranboo: “Mhm.” Tommy: “When it gets too much?” Ranboo: “Yeah. Yeah.” Tommy: “It’s too much, Ranboo.”
head canon that c!tommy’s biggest fear is being alone.
tommy being at arguably his worst during exile where he was isolated from society? him finding comfort in dream because he was the only one who occasionally visited him despite dream manipulating him and his friends? tommy getting “too” attached to pets/items after only a short amount of time? tommy constantly sticking to techno when they would go on adventures after they moved in together? tommy sticking close to anyone whenever he goes near a plains because he’s scared something will happen to him again? tommy sparing dreams life despite dream taking his because tommy was terrified of the idea of being alone for the rest of his life?
i could go on.
Kinda old and I’m not a huge fan of how it turned out but here ya goo.
thinking about how the new compass tommy got is named “your discs” and how he lost the old compass named “your tubbo”
thinking about how tommy told tubbo, “the discs were worth more than you ever were.”
thinking about how tommy never respected tubbo as a president and only ever saw him as a “side kick”
thinking about how tommy told tubbo that he was the bad friend rather than himself
/dsmp /rp
this just accidently got shown on someone’s stream so let’s talk about it.
the signs on the chest say, “come see me wednesday. you and tubbo ALONE. if anyone else shows up the discs are gone forever”
so we can first of all assume we were supposed to see this yet, from that we can assume it’s most likely dream. however we have just found out that ranboo has one of the discs and sleep walks and possibly has a worse side to him(?)
either way, what can this lead to? the prison? forcing tommy to burning the discs? another exile? if it was dream who did this, the prison wouldn’t be a bad shout. plus, the prison has been in play for MONTHS and personally it’s the most expected.
however knowing the current writers they could do smth totally unexpected but that’s what i can predict for now
my favorite head canon atm has got to be that karl is a time traveler. which is probably why he seems more calm in wars and is so easy to switch sides because he knows how it ends up.
Ranboo calling it a Phil apple and not a N*tch apple is proof of the new era of Minecraft idk how else to put it
"couldn't you have just burnt the discs? couldn't you have just... done it to me?" -tommy during doomsday
dream has drained tommy, mentally and physically. tommy probably feels as if he’s the reason l’manberg was blown up. never once in the 6 months of tommy having the discs has he ever even though of the idea of dream burning his discs although dream had threatened to.
so to everyone saying he’s prioritizing the discs over l’manberg, he’s not. since the beginning he had put the nation first, sacrificing them the first time to dream. then the day before doomsday, he was sacrificing them again by default when he told tubbo to give dream the other disc and then proceeding to leave technos side. he’s much more selfless than people paint him out to be.

i honestly find it almosy admirable how more and more characters on the dsmp are finding out wilbur had always been the villain and don’t want him back as much as they did when he first passed.
like if we go back to the beginning on tommys exile he vocalized that he did want alivebur back, which was expected since alivebur had been the only person tommy looked up to and respected. however since then he’s matured so so much, he no longer put wilbur on this pedestal. during the resurrection was the first time he showed signs of not wanting him back, which through lots of people off, even me. but it’s respectable.
as well as the other day, fundy vocalized how much of a bad idea he found the entire resurrection a bad idea. the exact words he said were, “might as well bring back schlatt.” which says a lot considering his own son isn’t confident on his own father coming back
but yeah just smth i found cool
can we talk about how terribly tubbos character is treated?
like if we start at the beginning, all he had ever been was “tommys sidekick” or “tommys right hand man,” so when he was made president no one respected him, especially tommy. tommy was so used to giving orders to tubbo and not taking orders from him. despite how happy tommy was for tubbo, he never actually looked up to him the way he did with wilbur.
also not to mention the fact that the second tubbo was made president he had a group of people around him begging for a role in the country, because they knew tubbo would give them smth. everyone in the cabinet had taken advantage of tubbos kindness whether it be on purpose or not. none of them would of thought of asking schlatt or wilbur, but just because they knew tubbo would, they asked.
dream obviously knew tubbo could be easily manipulated and took advantage to that just like everyone else. he gave him an ultimatum to chose between his best friend and a whole country, and i’m sure dream knew tubbo would rather keep a country happy than his one friend. then after that dream continued to manipulate tubbo, making him think he was his friend, making him think he did respect tubbo. but alas he was just using him like everyone else.
and quackity, after tommy had been exiled he kinda stepped up and started taking more of the lead role. he lead all the main conversations, he was the one who insisted on the butcher army, and tubbo let him. but the first time i saw tubbo disagree and put his foot down to quackity is when he had demanded they execute ranboo. and when quackity didn’t get his way? he left l’manberg.
tubbo had been taken advantage of the second he became president, and had never been taken seriously even by his own best friend.
