The best thing you can ever do for yourself as a woman is to let go of anything —and anyone— that drags you into an emotional spiral of loneliness, grief, and low self-worth. How you start shrinking little by little, making excuses for why you feel miserable, convincing yourself that “it’s just a rough patch,” or that “love requires patience.” No. Love should not feel like you’re begging for air. Love should not feel like a constant internal collapse.

There’s a point where you have to look at yourself honestly and say: “Why am I worshipping someone who can’t even meet me halfway?” And that’s the moment everything begins to shift. Because once you understand that peace is more valuable than any fantasy you’ve built around someone, you stop tolerating things that drain you. Letting go stops feeling like a loss and starts feeling like self-respect.

And here’s the part we don’t talk about enough: chasing romantic relationships because you want to be seen is one of the most silent forms of self harm. When you enter something from emptiness, you will cling to crumbs and call it love. When your self worth depends on someone else’s gaze, you end up molding yourself into whatever keeps their attention a little longer— even if it breaks you. Needing to be “picked” is the quickest way to abandon yourself.

You deserve connections that come to you because you are whole, not because you are desperate to be validated. You deserve love that doesn’t cost you your sanity or your identity. And sometimes the strongest, most loving thing you can do is walk away —even if it hurts, even if you love them— because your peace, your worth, and your future depend on who you refuse to let destroy you.

Let go now. Choose yourself loudly. Every time.

This just made me realize this is how love has mostly felt my whole life (parental, platonic etc).

I'm not in a relationship or anything. But the concept of leaving even if it is put of self respect seems so foreign . Ive been content with crumbs my whole life. Sometimes one cherishes the crumbs because they've never known fullness .

Spoilers for ep 10 and 11 of Xanthus's storyline

I made these edits after finishing the final, I cannot believe it is finished now. I've been listening since the evry first episode when was I was 13 and now I'm 19 and its been nearly 6 years. I don't think I'll ever get over this series

This is an edit of Xanthus and Dontis that I made. It's a little rough but I tried my best, it was hard since I was crying the entire time whilst making it. Especially with clipping their voicelines.

I'm very glad to have found a fandom for this series even after if its when it's finished.

the more i listen to the other characters playlists the more confused i am by the people who say vincent’s playlist is boring??

like don’t get me wrong i love all the other characters but vincent and lovely literally always have some bs going on in their lives. we’ve gotten like what 3 audios in a row of them just hanging around and people are saying it’s boring 😭. as if asher’s entire playlist pre-inversion isn’t just him and babe hanging out (this isn’t a diss on asher i adore him but like double standards people)
