Theyâre 5âłx7âł that makes them easy to frame but also there is a postcard ready back! Keep them all, send then all, or keep one for yourself and send the rest! Everyone always loves getting a postcard~Â
The first five (unicorgi, circle code, appigle, circus, and day market) are all sets of four for $15. The cats and dogs are a set of two for $8 and the hummingbird is a set of one for $5.Â

The character of Chief from Wonder Woman was played by Eugene Brave Rock who is from the Kanaii reserve in Southern Alberta. He took the inspiration for his character from real life WWI hero Mike Mountain Horse who is also from southern AB. In the film Chief greets Diana in Blackfoot. Shortly after they have a conversation about how his peopleâs land was taken away by Steveâs people.
This is how you have First Nations representation: cast First Nations actors, draw from historical First Nations heroes and if they are going to speak a First Nations language cast someone who is part of that Nation!
He also personally created his whole look. Instead of the costume designer doing what they \think\ a native man would wear. He included things that would have personal significance to his character, not because it looks âIndianâ *side-eyes the lone ranger*
Not only did Eugene Brave Rock create Chiefâs whole look, he did it because they asked him to. It was a case of, âyou know this, please help us do it right.â He showed up on screen and I saw that hat and my heart was immediately happy because that is not a hat you see on Native people in Hollywood, that is a hat you see on actual Native people. That was my first inkling that Chiefâs character wouldnât hurt me. And then he introduces himself to Diana. And Patty is a gift because she didnât caption it. And it made that line a gift to Native (especially Blackfoot) viewers, because it said, this is for you. I have a lot of feelings about both Napi and Eugene Brave Rock and they are all full of heart eyes.

and now the world knows Naapiâ, thank you Gene

learning how not to fish for compliments can really help how you interact with others. hereâs some common phrases iâve noticed:
âhereâs my shitty artâ
âlol iâm so ugly in this selfieâ
âyouâre so creative. iâm nowhere near as creative as youâ
âyour writing is amazing! i wish mine was that goodâ
what all of these have in common is that they all involve putting yourself down. when you do that, those around you feel obligated to compliment you, which can make them feel frustrated that they have to just to be polite. not only that, but by talking yourself down you feel worse about yourself. the latter two phrases also centre your problems, distracting the attention from the person youâre trying to compliment. that often makes them feel bad!
hereâs how to fix those phrases:
âhereâs my artâ
âselfie time!â
âyouâre so creative. how do you do it?â
âyour writing is amazing! do you have any tips?â
by cutting out the negativity, you make it so nobody feels obligated to compliment you. youâll usually get more compliments this way because people donât feel uncomfortable! the latter two phrases now also centre the artist and their knowledge. not only do they make the artist feel good, they also might score you some good advice.
this strategy will also help to boost your confidence in the long run. if you stop prefacing every compliment with negativity, youâll be able to internalise them better.
