What Is Computer Science?
Computer science is the study of computers and computing as well as their theoretical and practical applications. Computer science applies the principles of mathematics, engineering, and logic to a plethora of functions, including algorithm formulation, software and hardware development, and artificial intelligence.
What Is Coding?
Coding is a skill where you take instructions (the steps in a task) and translate it into a language the computer understands since computers do not communicate like humans. They communicate in a language called BINARY and it is uses 0’s and 1’s. Because of coding people now can give instructions to the devices and guide them on how to operate.
The main difference between two is Computer science is the study of what computers can do, coding is the practice of making computers do things.
Learning to code is entirely possible without any prior knowledge of a computer science education, and should certainly not discourage you from having a go at coding.
