Update

So I guess I’m kind of on a hiatus? For two weeks only, since I’ll have to dedicate my time to studying for my final exams. My school’s finally over, but now comes the work part. It’s not like I’m spending the whole time studying but I already have a hard time trying to do so without launching the game. I probably won’t be able to update my Restaurant Challenge because I only took screenshots for like 2 more posts. I do have some other screenies of some other sims I might edit but that’s about it. I don’t think I’ll be updating my AOP lookbook challenge for now either. So that’s about it. When I get back, though, I’m REALLY back and I’ll be on vacation for like 2 months so I’ll have plenty of time (and FINALLY get myself at least the first restaurant on that challenge? lmao I can’t wait)

TS4 EDIT CHALLENGE

this idea came to fruition when @grimcookies and i were talking about experimenting and pushing ourselves with editing :-) so i came up with a bunch of ways to play around with your posts (s/o to @ceiuu for the moral support while i was doing this)

as per usual there’s no real rules! do all the days or just do one day. do them once a week or do them once a day. below i’ve included some tutorials and inspiration from other simmers that you can check out if you feel lost on the prompts :-) interpret them as creatively as you want - that’s the whole point!

also i tried to make this friendly for both cas and in-game shots so you can use whichever you’re comfortable with!

Y’All Wanna Do Some Sim Swappin’?

Okay, basically I want to an event where people would sign up to swap sims and then I would draw names to pair people up for it. People could then do the swap and maybe to stuff like make the other’s sim have a cameo in a story or even do something like a photoset. Anybody interested? There’ve been quite a few create-a-sim challenges floating around tumblr lately, but I wasn’t really connecting with any of the prompts, so I decided to make my own! 

RULES & GUIDELINES

- May only use ONE sim. Download someone from the gallery, create your own, use an EA townie, whatever. Make sure you’re 100% pleased though because you’ll be stuck with them till the end!

- CAN NOT change Sim’s genetics, body shape, etc. (Hair, contacts and such are free game, but try not to alter anything that couldn’t be easily changed irl.)

- I’d appreciate it if you included a link back to this post. Thanks!

- Since this was inspired by the style of lookbooks, try to include each outfit’s corresponding CC links when applicable. Not only is this super helpful for fellow simmers, it will also save you from having to answer tons of WCIFs.

- Get creative! Take your screenshots right from CAS, pose your Sim in a parallel in-game setting, or PhotoShop your own backdrop. The choice is yours!

- I tried to make each category as gender neutral as possible, so feel free to interpret each prompt however you see fit! Just make sure to stick to the rules (or not, it’s just a game) and have fun!
